What are people saying about Iceland

Recommend it but if you want something a little physically demanding this is not for you.
If you want to "tick a box" that you hiked on a glacier, this is the way to go. Having said that, there will be people on this tour who aren't in shape to hike far as they just want a picture that they did it. Personally I would have liked more hiking, more challenge, but that's on me for not asking more questions thus it's still a 5 star review. Staff is extremely helpful, even when a lady who just couldn't stop recording herself walking (versus just enjoying the moment) drops her phone into a deep pool of cold water (and as far as I know didn't get her phone back). I felt bad for her, but at the same time, enjoy the moment versus recording everything and you probably won't ever watch it.

Bus pick up and drop off...
Bus pick up and drop off was super easy, Sylvester was an excellent driver. Darren provided fun facts and jokes throughout the drive. Easy way to explore key sites and there was plenty of time at each stop. We packed a lunch but there was an opportunity to buy food at two locations and a restroom at each area.

Great tour- especially...
Great tour- especially for those with limited time in Iceland! Hits all the big sites near Reykjavik and ends with relaxation in the most beautiful hot springs/spa we’ve ever seen. Our guide, Christina, was so lovely and fun- she even made a small detour to let us meet some Icelandic horses after seeing our groups interest in them! Great experience would highly recommend and appropriate for families, small groups, or solo travelers.

One-of-a-kind five mile hike up a beautiful glacier
We love hiking and this was an amazing and unique experience. Our knowledgeable guide Kevin led us as far up the glacier as you can safely travel, with incredible views along the way, including strapping in and peering down into a moulin. They provide thick hiking boots, harnesses, helmets, ice picks and crampons, but it’s not a strenuous hike.

Daniel, our hiking and...
Daniel, our hiking and climbing guide, was fantastic. His knowledge, humor, expertise, and skill set was perfect for our group. He made us feel safe and let us be adventurous all at once. I would highly recommend Daniel for your glacier hike and climb.

Excellent tour and guide
Veronica was an AMAZING guide, she was very knowledgeable, personable and full of energy and enthusiasm. She made the hike very fun. We got to see some very cool glacier features and spent a good amount of time on the glacier. Definitely a great excursion and we appreciate the company finding a new way to make it happen with the sudden glacier changes. Five stars for sure!!!

This is one of the top 5...
This is one of the top 5 excursions we have been on. Mikael our driver was excellent. He told us so much information to make the tour even more interesting. I can honestly say he was the best tour guy we have ever had and he made our day! Two thumbs up!

Rakel is amazing!!
Rakel was our tour guide. She was so very nice, she gave us so much information about the Icelandic culture and about the island itself. They communicated well when it came to finding them at the port. So it worked so very well with being an excursion I booked on a limited time frame. But again, 10/10 would recommend. Rakel was amazing!!

Fabulous experience
Just go. Our glacier group had the entire age range: from young to old. Our glacier guide Mika trained us well and accompanied us well. Our driver Sergei made stops at two waterfalls and the black sands beach, giving us enough time (you now, considering time limits). Both guides were friendly and attentive to personal needs. Superb experience!

Snaefellsnes Peninsula Tour
Super scenic tour with a ton of breathtaking stops! Shoutout to our guide Giuseppe and driver Pete! Giuseppe was an incredible guide who provided cool insight into the geological and volcanic history of Snaefellsnes, and his friendly but punctual attitude made for a very smooth and pleasant experience. Favorite sites were definitely Kirkjufell and Arnarstapi!

Great experience
Tour starts in the lagoon, you drive with huge terrain vehicle to the glacier around 30min. Then you hike to the cave around 10min. I like that tour is in a small group, around 10 people, compared with other providers with 20+ people. Cave is beautiful! Our guide was very sweet and funny, also sharing really interesting facts about glacier history, cave formation process etc. He was also very helpful, doing photos of everyone and made us feel very welcome. Genuinely recommended.

Thanks Edgar and Natalia!
This was the highlight of my trip to Iceland. When can you say you hiked a glacier? My partner and I went to iceland in October when there was record snowfall- 18inches! We still managed to make the trek from Reykyavik to the meet up location (about 2.5 hour drive) and it was well worth it. The weather on the glacier itself was perfect, hardly windy and SUNNY. It look a little bit to get the trek started with donning the safety equipment, but once we got going, wit was amazing. Edgar and Natalia were amazing hosts- very patient with some of our less attentive compatriots but also very informative. And a pleasure to be around and talk with. I just hope they'll adopt a QR code / venmo for digital payments (still, it's obviously wholly, my fault I did not prepare cash for tips!). Best of luck to you Edgar and Natalia, I hope to see you again next year, maybe in the spring or fall!
