Absolutely lovely for beginner and experienced riders!

I’m an experienced rider and my husband and two boys have very little riding experience. Our guided ride was absolutely perfect for all of us. I did opt to split off with a faster riding group to experience the Icelandic Horse tölt which was a really fun experience. Their focus on safety, basic riding instruction, pairing riders with horses who were a good fit, and having guides spread throughout the group to support riders when needed was really wonderful. I had no concerns leaving my boys and husband in the care of the guides for them to stay with the less experienced riding group and we all had a lot of fun riding through beautiful scenery. The trail guides clearly have a lovely system they have refined over many years of experience doing guided trail rides. And the Icelandic horses lived up to their great reputation of being steady, kind, generous horses for people of all riding levels.

What gorgeous natural beauty and scenic sights - the private tour of the Golden Circle with “Beyond Reykjavík Tours” that we booked online and were so fortunate to have Mr. Siglus Thor as our tour guide, was a delightful experience! It was superbly managed, as Mr. Thor proved not only very knowledgeable but also quite entertaining, giving us the most interesting, enjoyable and wholesome 9 hours with his expertise. He kept the mood light and fun and maintained a perfect balance of keeping time, without rushing us. Our Private South Coast Tour with Joseph was a highlight of our trip!! He took us to all the beautiful locations in the South Coast, and was so flexible at each spot. We never felt rushed. He wanted us to enjoy our day, which we certainly did!! He knows so much about Iceland and it was really fun to learn from him. Plus, he was interested in learning about us and, by the end of the day, we had formed a friendship with him. In fact, at the end of our trip, we were flying home from Akureyri via Reykjavik and had a few hours to spare in Reykjavik, so we reached out to Joseph and he helped us with our luggage and transportation. Great tour- especially...

Great tour- especially for those with limited time in Iceland! Hits all the big sites near Reykjavik and ends with relaxation in the most beautiful hot springs/spa we’ve ever seen. Our guide, Christina, was so lovely and fun- she even made a small detour to let us meet some Icelandic horses after seeing our groups interest in them! Great experience would highly recommend and appropriate for families, small groups, or solo travelers.

Easy way to get to the city center from KEF

Super easy process. We just dropped our luggage off with the person standing next to the bus and showed our tickets to the person sitting in the driver's seat and boarded. The trip to the BSI terminal was smooth and had free WiFi. You can basically walk to anywhere in the city from the station within 20 minutes.

Best layover excursion

Great introduction to Reykjavik. We booked this during our 6 hr layover and it was perfect to see the highlights of town in a quick manner. The walk was mostldown hill and ended 20 min. Walk from the main bus terminalso we just walked back to it. Thor was very nice, informative and entertaining. Highly recommend.
