Had a lot of fun, saw a couple whales, no complaints. Boat ride was a lot of fun too. Was a little worried about losing my glasses, but they give a bandana type thing where it keeps everything on your head. Hannah was a great tour guide (and I forgot the captains name sorry).

Amazing experience!
This was an amazing experience! We all got to wear flotation warm suits and I didn't get sea sick either because that day the sea was calm and the boat captain took the journey slow. We saw 6 humpback whales! Got to see one breaching and lots of blow-hole and flippers too. It was incredible! Totally recommend this to anyone!

We saw no less than eight individual humpbacks and at least 30 sightings of these whales. They were feeding so they did a lot of showing their backside and their tail fins, which was absolutely stunning. One of them even came within 20 m of our boat. I only wish the boat had had some outside seating. All of the seating was inside, and it was very crowded once you got to the top and very difficult to get a good point of view.

Fun experience, but be prepared
Seeing whales is not guaranteed, but we got lucky and saw a few. Boat/tour staff was knowledgeable and friendly. There is about 45 minute boat ride one way so be prepared. Probably 2/3 of the people on our ride got seasick. And while staff was prepared with bags for those that got sick it could be a lot to watch so many get sick around you. Staff did a good job checking on those getting sick and tending to everyone’s needs.
