Excellent day tour to see a slice of Iceland

We had a glorious trip with Sunny (our guide) and Sylvester (our driver), we did the tour the backwards route of the itinerary which worked well for us as the lagoon was near the end of the day not the beginning. The journey was well informed with facts and Sunny providing recommendations and personal anecdotes from her experiences, she knew the right amount of talking to letting us enjoy the views out the window. She was so interesting and had a great sense of humour too. The stops on the tour were wonderful, we were in Iceland for a short weekend trip so this tour was perfect to see a slice of what Iceland has to offer in a short time and Iceland does not disappoint, what a gorgeous place!! Each stop has multiple routes and view points which is ideal for different abilities. My favourite stop was the waterfall and my mums favourite was the lagoon. All together we just really enjoyed the day. Pick up was prompt but no guessing which bus was needed as Sunny got off the bus and checked us all on, each stop was head-counted so no one was left behind. Sylvester was friendly and the drive was smooth and safe!

Great day out!

What a lovely day from start to finish! Our Pick up from the pick up point on time and our Driver/tour escort Bruno was such a lovely and informative individual, he made sure he chatted to everyone on the bus throughout the trip which we thought was nice. The small group tour was a much more intimate experience and we had a few extra stop offs, which was a lovely surprise! We had enough time at each location to do what we wanted and the day went so quickly! Thank you Bruno for a truly amazing day!

They really put efforts

The rating I am giving based on the efforts they took to take us out of the city at remote places to see northern lights despite having a very cloudy weather. We did not see a very good northern lights but you can't blame the provider for this. On a good day, I am sure it would have been worth it. If you are doing ring road, I would recommend you to wait until your last 2-3 days before purchasing the tickets to know the weather better. As we were able to see the lights from the hotels we stayed at 3 remote locations.

Ottar was our tour guide for the day who shared his love of icelandic music and history on the drive and got us to the many stops safely. He also ensured our safety at the stops as many were slippery due to constant rain. All the stops were amazingly beautiful and so glad we took this tour. This is an all day 11+ hour tour with a good amount of walking and on/off bus. If you dont have good mobility, this tour is not for you. There is also time to stop for lunch, if you dont bring your own or grab something at the gas station stop.

Northern Lights Adventure

My husband and I had a great experience on this trip. Hotel pickup and drop off is a big plus. Our driver/guide Iosif (Joseph) was informative and worked very hard to get us to a great spot to see the beautiful Northern Lights. He took numerous great photos of all of us with the lights as the backdrop. The yummy hot chocolate and snacks were a welcome treat during this late night adventure. I highly recommend this Bucket List experience!

Perfect day at The Blue Lagoon

Our trip included transportation from the cruise ship terminal in Reykjavik to and from The Blue Lagoon. We had no issues and enjoyed our time in the Lagoon. We went early (left Reykjavik at 9:00 and was at the Blue Lagoon before 10:00). I would highly suggest that as it got more and more crowded. We were able to do the face masks and get our drinks before the long lines and crowds, so go early! The facilities at the Blue Lagoon are really nice. They provide everything you need, including bathing suit dryers so you aren’t schlepping soaking suits back. Great experience.

Excellent adventure. Wear warm water wicking clothes. The climb was a little difficult , a little scary but the scenery was amazing and worth it. Ale provided the safety gear and instructions. The tour was great!!! The guide was very informative, helpful, and was just as excited to see the whales and puffins as we were. It was kind of like going fishing. You are just waiting for the sea animals to do their thing and they didn’t disappoint. The puffins were the cutest.
