Great experience all around!

This tour was seamless from start to finish! I enjoyed the pickup from hotel, and appreciated the small group experience. There were only four in my group, and we were brought directly to the ferry terminal and back and brought around our excellent local guide Renat. A Bucket List Highlight: Ask for Esko at Tokka Safaris!

We are so glad we chose Tokka Snowmobile Safaris for our bucket list trip! Even with the late-winter slushy snow, our guide, Esko, turned a fun outing into a truly great tour. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and informative throughout the ride. The 3-hour duration was perfect—long enough to reach stunning viewpoints and enjoy some faster stretches over the frozen lake. The route through the coniferous forests is beautiful, and the break at the reindeer farm for hot drinks and warm donuts (indoors with a WC!) was a highlight. A huge bonus: Esko took amazing photos and videos of us. His video work was so steady it looked like he was using a gimbal, even on the bumpy terrain! With a small group of just four snowmobiles, the experience felt very personal. We’ll definitely book with Esko again when we return!

Road trip!

We saw amazing lights, even though it was raining in Rovaniemi when we left! All were prepared for a long 3+ hour drive through Sweden to find a patch of open sky - and we did! The driver had so many resources and experience, that we relaxed, trusting our guide George completely. (It seemed like other vans were following us, I think they knew our guide was the best ;-). He got just as excited as us when he found them, just seconds before they rippled across the sky. The lights were very strong for 10+ minutes, but they were visible as a mist/cloud for almost an hour. The guide took as many pictures as we wanted, and will send a link to photos a few days later. It is a long drive if it’s cloudy in Rovaniemi, so bring plenty of data to catch up on emails and write up your trip notes - or listen to your audiobook while enjoying the long, dark, snowy road lined with trees. Our trip took 10 hours total. The next night was clear in R. and the other guests got back after only 4 hours. Warning: there is only ONE gas station along the entire route with a bathroom, and it’s only one toilet for 1-3 vans, for ~ 24 people - very very clean though. Take small sips if you must drink, or be prepared to “go behind the van” if you can. Thanks George and Arctic GM! You are the pros!

10 hour Aurora hunt into Swedish Lapland!

The trip was PERFECT! we were very disappointed our first trip with another company was cancelled the day before, booked the small group trip with Lapin Tavias. And was loosing hope becuase of severe cloud cover, our guide Rasa drove us all the way into Swedish Lapland to find a clear sky! And when the Aurora arrived it was amazing! Even my iPhone camera was able to pick up the lights! Rasa took incredible photos and was brilliant. His enthusiasm for chasing the lights was infectious. And true to their promise, our 10 hour round trip was worth every minute. On the way back Rasa detected another aurora explosion and he stopped and got all of us to have another set of photos. The hot drink and sandwich was a lovely touch. The company had excellent communication from booking to WhatsApp message of the pick up times, drivers name and photo links. We would highly recommend this company and specifically our guide Rasa!

What an incredible...

What an incredible experience we had with Snowride Lapland! Our guide Mario was exceptional. He was funny and relaxed while still being very professional. The snowmobiles were very good quality and even came with hand warmers for both driver and passenger. My wife was very nervous to drive but after great teaching from Mario she tried out driving and had a wonderful time. There are many options for snowmobiling in Rovaniemi and I can’t recommend this operator enough for their quality, professionalism, and overall experience!

It was a great experience! To our luck, it was very sunny so the reindeer ride was extra enjoyable. All the family members of the farm and all the rest of the employees were very sweet and helpful. After the ride, the hot chotolate/coffee and cake was just what we needed! And the q&a about the reindeers was very informative. We enjoyed the experience a lot!

It was super nice tour! Everything was on time with clear instructions. Our guide Vanessa was very friendly and helpful. By husky farm people was super kind! They took extra care about our kid. Exceptional Norther Lights Hunt!

Had a fantastic time with Max and Mika last night hunting for the Northern Lights. It was a very clear night and the Auroras were predicted to come out so it was a pretty easy trip. But what I appreciated from Max was he always kept us updated as to what exactly we were doing, how long it would take us to get to his secret spot and when we stopped and reversed, he explained why his secret spot wasn’t too appropriate for us (snow was too thick). Instead we drove a few miles further to a desolate high road with a clear view of the skies and set up camp. Within minutes we saw faint lights which blossomed into huge Auroras that filled the sky and some that were right on top of us. Milka and Max were right there with their cameras constantly offering to take photos (sometimes multiple) to capture the moment. We stayed for over an hour until the lights faded then we headed back with Max and Milka handing out warm apple cider and cookies. I’ve hunted the Lights in Iceland previously with a little success. A lot of the trip really depends on Mother Nature and the Sun giving off its flares. But what made this trip nice was Max and Milka’s friendly manner, professionalism and smiling faces. I know they must do several trips a week but they made us feel like this trip was special. They are true representatives of the welcoming Finnish culture and I really enjoyed my night out. A few things that were confusing…Apple Maps gave a different location of the office. Luckily, I took an Uber and he dropped me off at the right office. It is crowded with multiple buses leaving at the same time but that’s a bit of a good thing as you can definitely find the office easily.

Most amazing experience!

This was the most incredible experience and the highlight of our Lapland trip. Staff were all wonderful and the huskies were clearly well loved and cared for. We even got to see the husky puppies which was very special! First, Dimitar arrived to drive us to the kennels. He was kind, polite and easy to talk to. Next we were taught how to drive the sleigh and what to do. We then had a thrilling 10km ride around the forest. It was the most amazing experience and huskies were all beautiful!

Unforgettable, best memory ever!

Had THE most amazing time snowmobiling with Nacho today. I (28) went with my mum (60) and we both had the best time and want to do it again! Nacho was an excellent teacher, kind, patient and funny and taught us all we needed to know as first time snowmobilers. His confidence showed us we were in safe hands! I would recommend this 10000%, we weren’t sure about it before booking as we hadn’t done it before, but it has been the highlight of our trip by far! Highlight of my trip!

Loved this excursion! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The reindeer park was very authentic and our guide there was genuine and experienced. The husky ride was a bit commercial but was such a cool experience regardless. The whole tour just the right amount of time, and not too strenuous. It was a small group size (there were 5 of us) so it felt more personal.
