    Nice to learn the history

    Melinda_J, Jan 2025
The guide was informative, however, she appeared to talk like she had a script in her head. She was funny but at times she appeared to be more about the performance than connectivity with her tourists. She was very nice but did not give us directions to get back to hotel or meeting place and said goodbye to us in the store We thought the walk was from 3-6 but she said it was just 2 hrs We were happy for that as we stood out in the very cold weather and were freezing

    Great walking tour with Magnus

Great way to see the city

    Doug_M, Aug 2024
Arnar was a wonderful guide and a descendant of the first settler. We learned much about the history of Iceland and Reykjavík and had an enjoyable walk around the city. The recommendations were spot on and Arnar has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend, but be prepared for the weather!!!

Unsympathetic to Travel woes with CROWDSTRIKE DELTA issue

    KARENR_D, Aug 2024
I was caught in the DELTA meltdown and called to cancel my tour the second I realized that I would not land in time to take it. I respectfully asked for a refund, as it was a WW issue that I had NO control over. I was told that the tour operator would not refund my money.

    Great start!

    Lisa_H, Aug 2024
Operator was flexible when our plane arrived late and showed us the highlights of town. Very knowledgeable and interesting and even gave us restaurant tips!

    Viking walk around Reykjavik

    Shieldss1, Dec 2023
We had Stefan as our guide who was very knowledgeable and kept us informed of interesting facts about the city and its viking heritage. The route is reasonably flat and the pace is suitable for all walking abilities. Very enjoyable and worth doing.

We enjoyed our walking tour with Ole very much. He talked about the earliest history thru modern day. He answered all our questions so thoughtfully and patiently. We enjoyed learning about his childhood growing up on a farm raising Icelandic horses. We love Iceland. It is a wonderful country. Thank you Ole!

Great way to orient when arriving in the city. Great guide with a lot of great suggestions and even better stories

    Diccovering Rejkjavik

    Christine_M, Feb 2023
It was a nice way of getting to know the city. Snaisa, our guide, was very knowlegable and told us a lot of the history of Rejkjavik and places of interest. I would surely recommend this tour!

    Great walking tour of city.

    Carlos_S, Dec 2022
Very nice tour guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. Tour was very thorough. City was well represented.

Great tour of Reykjavik and how it is special!

    Pamela_T, Aug 2022
I didn't take a lot of photos during this tour, but it was a really good introduction to Reykjavik, its history, and our host was really able to give us a sense of how Reykjavik came to be like it is now. One of my first impressions of the city was that it all seemed pretty new, and that's still true, but our guide started the tour in a location that was quite a bit older than my generalization and walked us through how the city grew up, how Icelandic government works and interacts with the populace. (It's pretty amazing to see just how "personable" their national government is towards/with its citizens!

    Best guide = Best tour

    CHERYL_C, Aug 2022
Gunnar, our guide was outstanding. He tailored his tour to our interests and answered our many questions. He had a great command of history and shared information in an interesting way.

    Best intro to Reykjavik

    Amanda_B, Jul 2022
We had a wonderful time! Gunar was so knowledgeable and insightful. We had booked the tour for our first day in Reykjavik hoping it would help orient us and give us some historical context. It did all of that and more! Gunar is a high school social studies teacher— we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Also, it can be hard to meet Icelanders in Reykjavik, so meeting a local was a joy. He pointed out some places for us to eat that made the rest of our stay perfect.

    100% recommend

    mike_v, Jul 2022
Stefan was a fantastic story teller and funny. We had a great time and learned a lot. It was a great way to get familiar with the city on our first day

    Viking or just history?

    Maggy_L, Dec 2021
Lovely guide with a lot of history and knowledge about Reykjavik. Not sure how much related to Viking this visit was but still very interesting!
