What are people saying about Iceland

Fabulous tour with the nicest guide!
We are so happy we booked this tour with Jake. He met us just outside the ship, exactly where he said he would be at the appointed time. We were in a large van, not a huge bus, so felt we got more personal attention and also we were able to go off the beaten path a bit to see things we would not in a large bus. Our guide shared his love of nature with us and pointed out different birds, seals, etc, which was so nice. The waterfall was amazing and we had ample time to hike to the top or hang out and enjoy the spot. Later we drove through a small Icelandic town to see how the people live, and visited a charming old book store. We had lunch in this town and it was a pleasure to interact with the local proprieters who really know how to cook! You won't be disappointed by the carrot cake or the local dishes.
We were on a cruise, and it's worth saying that this tour was 1/2 the price of a similar trip through the cruise line. Our guide was very cognizant of time and we felt like we were in good hands. It was a perfect 5 star tour we will remember for a long time.

We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Iceland. It was unforgettable from start to finish!
The Viator team and Troll Expeditions customer service were absolutely outstanding in accommodating our last-minute tour date change after we got a flat tire on the way. They made a stressful situation so much easier and truly went above and beyond for us.
The cave tour was even better than we expected! The Super Jeep ride was incredibly fun, and the scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking. The cave itself was much bigger than we imagined, and being able to climb the glacier/volcano was truly the highlight of our trip to Iceland.
Our tour guide, Net, was absolutely incredible — patient, knowledgeable, and so passionate about the experience. He gave us plenty of time to ask questions and took tons of amazing pictures for us throughout the tour.

The cave was so cool, our guide was really knowledgeable and having a moment to sit in the darkness without the lights was so trippy but fun. Then going to the silfra fissure snorkeling was amazing, the water is so clear, and having hot cocoa with marshmallows after hit the spot!

It won't disappoint!
I highly recommend booking this hike. Although you can hike independently, you'll miss out on the volcano's history. Oddi, our guide was an expert who kept us safe and brought proper gear in case of an active volcano. The hike was very easy. I definitely recommend having a guide! Feel Comfortable being able to walk on lava.

Wonderful Dynjandi Falls
This excursion was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this to any and everyone. The drive to the falls was so beautiful. The tour guide was very informative, her knowledge of Iceland was very evtensive. I felt extremely safe with the driver. Thank you, and can't wait to use your service again.

It was nice.
I flew to Iceland just to do this. I’m an experienced scuba diver. This was my first time in a dry suit and it really does keep you dry. I tried to avoid the cold water touching my face but we aren’t allowed to use full face mask. The experience was fun and my guide was nice. We got the pictures back same thing. My only complaint is our snorkels aren’t splash free. The water taste fine, just a preference of never having the water get it. My guide was absolutely experienced and fun. I highly recommend.

Great day, great staff
Had a great day, kind and patient tour guide. The destinations were interesting and diverse. We left an item on the bus accidentally and the company were able to get hold of the tour guide who returned it to us, which was hugely appreciated. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Our Friend in Reykjavík, Indeed!
Our tour guide was "Paulie" and he provided an experience well beyond food!
While we were waiting for the tour to get started he was already telling us about the local customs and behavior around the meeting spot. After some other people didn't show, we began our tour with just my wife and I, it became a "private" tour and was incredible. The walks between locations were filled with information and fun historical facts about Reykjavík. The conversation continued as we ate local food and traditional dishes, it really felt like we were just out with an old friend of ours catching up.
Because it was just the two of us with Paulie, we were able to move from place to place rather quickly, giving us a lot of extra time to make stops along the way to learn about some Icelandic Traditions, local secret spots, and even learning about "Renting Paintings" from the library, and getting to browse a few of them.
Aside from the fun conversation and learning along the way, the food was absolutely excellent and really gave us a taste of some places that had flown under our radar.
We can happily say that this retired deep Sea fisherman - turned tour guide completely embodied the phrase on the back of his jacket, "Your Friend in Reykjavík". We will never forget Paulie after our trip here ends, and we hope to see him again when we return in the future!

Easy, the bus was waiting...
Easy, the bus was waiting for us at the airport as we cleared customs and got our luggage. I suggest you purchase the transfer from the main bus terminal to your final destination (hotel) in advance. I purchased the transfer at the bus terminal in Reykjavik and missed the first bus, good news only had to wait 20 minutes for the local bus to come back to the terminal.

Great way to see the Golden Circle
This tour was a great way to see the Golden Circle and our guide, Pawel, was great. We were picked up right on time from our designated bus stop in a nice, warm, minibus. Pawel pointed out locations of interest and gave us some historical background of Iceland as a whole. He was fun and very engaging. Doing a small group tour is always my preference as it's much easier to keep things on time when you are only managing 18 people. We had plenty of time at each stop to explore and get all the pictures we wanted. We even had a bonus stop for local ice cream that was well worth it. (Icelanding ice cream is really good!) Overall we liked not having to worry about driving as the winds were pretty significant in some areas. I would definitely recommend this trip and Pawel as your guide!

Lifesavers
Awesome experience for a girls trip. Staff is friendly and ensure safety is important! Shout out to Piotr for saving my friend’s life - she started panicking with the mask on and he saw her right away, grabbed her and helped her calm down and breath properly with the mask on. Highly recommend ! Fun group of operators.

Out tour guide, Steinnun...
Out tour guide, Steinnun was excellent. She did a great job not only informing us about Iceland’s scenery and geography, but also informing us about Iceland history, culture and people. Magnus, the bus driver did a good job adapting to unexpected road condition.
