Glad we got to see a few puffins. Humorous and informative guide. I should have asked, but guide did not tell us how to use Wi-Fi on bus or give us password as Wi-Fi was advertised.

Nice scenic ride. Saw puffins even though it was near the end of the season. The guide informed us of many interesting things about the area and the puffins.
Fantastic tour. Landscape was so green and beautiful. Puffins were really close by. Some steps to reach the top of the cliff.

We were fortunate to see an abundance of Puffins. The waterfall is the first of many that we will see but it is impressive.
Kirsten saved 17 stranded tourists from another tour company. We happened to have 17 seats free on our bus. Great she/we could help these fellow travelers.

This was an awesome excursion to see the puffins! I am still speechless from the tour a couple days ago. The pictures are phenomenal! We were very close to the puffins and they literally were flying so close to us we could feel the wind from their flight. I admit I was concerned we were going to miss them because our cruise was late in the season but we were truly blessed. After the puffins we made a pitstop and had some delicious sweet bread? Pastry. Not sure of the proper terminology but the people that provided it were very welcoming, informative and gave us samples of a delicious snack. There was coffee but we're not coffee drinkers so we had delicious Iceland water. The scenery in the area was beautiful. And all of this was before the waterfall LOL. I'd do this trip again in a heartbeat. The only thing is you have to walk up steps to get to the puffins. If you have trouble with steps you will not be able to get to the puffins. Not a drawback for us but some people opted out of the walk up to the puffins because of the amount of steps.
The guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The other stops along the way were fantastic. But the highlight was absolutely the puffins. We saw 1000s. It was our best day of the entire trip. Don’t miss this tour.
Very nice and comfortable tour. Not too much walking, get to enjoy the view, see puffins, learn a lot about iceland people and culture.
This was an excellent tour. However, beyond the tour operator control is the exact time of the Puffin migration in August. Check the Puffin availability for the time you book. We had a terrific tour and saw many Puffins up close despite being near the end of the season. We would book it again. Tour guide and bus driver were terrific.
Saga was a very good guide. She offered us to change tours since it was at the end of puffin season and said we may not see many. Glad we stayed as there were hundreds of puffins that were very close to photograph.

This was an amazing tour for me. I have always wanted to see the puffins and I was not disappointed. There were so many there on the day of my tour and they were so cute. The weather was great that day- no rain!
In every aspect this was a trip of a lifetime!! The gorgeous scenery, the wonderful tour guide—who even sang Icelandic songs to us—the cultural immersion, and of course the puffins, was once in a lifetime. I could not believe how close we got to the puffins! Only inches away and multiple platforms to see them from. This was truly spectacular and anyone should consider it. Puffins are there April to August, so keep that in mind. Oh, and don’t forget the dozens of waterfalls we saw and visited. Just wonderful!

The lighting for photography at the waterfall is better in the morning, but the lot was full so we had to do it on the evening. Otherwise, great trip.

There are a lot of steps to see the puffins, but if you're physically able, it's well worth it. The rest of the tour was okay.
This was another peak experience in this country of gorgeous landscapes, abundant wildlife and beautiful people. Our tour guide, Eva, was fantastic — knowledgeable, flexible, funny — and strategic in reordering our itinerary to work around the weather, and keep us on time. We saw more puffins than we could have ever imagined and we were able to spend a good amount of time observing and taking photos. This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Thank you Eva!
This tour takes you to a large colony of Puffins. The weather was cold and rainy but we still loved seeing the cute little birds
What a fantastic excursion- the puffins were so beautiful. We had an amazing guide Lili who gave us a lot of information through the trip. The tour was at a good pace.
One thing to note for those with little ones - we were sent a note stating kids under 2 were not allowed but we had 2 kids less than 1 on the tour so check the requirements if you’re travelling with littles

The steps and viewing points for the puffins on the rocks can be a little crowded with everyone trying to get photos or selfie sticks from various viewpoints.
Saw a whale breach in the nearby fjord by the puffins.
Stopped by Alfaborg, the "City of Elves" and saw one of the last remaining turf houses in the area. Unexpected surprise was a stop at the local community center to have local pastries/coffee and a singalong with the house/town band.
Gufufoss & Udafoss waterfall had great views of the valley down to Seydisfjordur and relatively easy access to get closer to the waterfalls.
NOTE: Cruisers coming to Seydisfjordur should prepare to possibly tender from ship to shore, which could impact your ability to get to your tour bus on time, due to tender/weather delays. You may want to pick a later start time if possible or arrange earlier tender times. We were lucky that there were available spots on later times due to tender delays and missing our 9:30am start time. May not be typical for others.
The excursion was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the puffins! We were also quite impressed with the bus driver handling the mountainous roads
Really nice overview of Icelandic life in eastern Iceland, thanks to Tania and our driver, Kjartan. The puffins were cute, the community band great, and the scenery spectacular. Really enjoyed Tania's commentary, a good mix of insights, history and humor!
Seeing puffins has been high on the bucket list. Going with BusTravel Iceland was the best choice. Great guide, same counts for the driver. We stopped by the waterfall first, a bit small for Icelandic standards. Before seeing the puffins we stopped at a local community center for a pastry and coffee, all arranged by the tour operator. And than the highlight of the day, the puffins. We had an hour, way too short 😅. We could come very close and it wasn’t overcrowded. They were so close, just amazing. I can highly recommend this trip! And I really enjoyed how the guide put on Icelandic music while driving!
Loved this tour. Saga our tour guide was great. She was generally happy to be our guide. She kept us informed about what we would be doing, our schedule and information about absolutely everything to do with our tour. She answered questions and even told us stories from Icelandic lore. The scenery was beautiful. It was amazing how close we got to see the puffins. The bus accommodations were very comfortable and provided WiFi too!
Beautiful scenery along the way. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The puffin stop was very crowded but we had plenty of time and got quite close for some amazing pictures.
