It’s a beautiful sight. If you’re climbing to the top it is so worth it. Not the easiest both climbing and returning, but well worth the effort. view from up top are magnificent.
Our guide was very informative and gave us a lot of information on the whole trip. The waterfall was amazing and certainly worth visiting
Beautiful drive through some glorious scenery ( helped by the sunshine ) , with an excellent, well informed and interesting guide .
The path up the waterfall is uneven and was very muddy , tough footwear is a must

A little long for what it is but a nice tour none the less and definitely worth doing. Tour guide was very nice and very informative. Could easily cut the time at the waterfall down to an hour as there’s really nothing there to do once you’ve seen it. No shopping, no snacks. Cut it to an hour and leave time for people to spend more time in town.
1 hour drive to waterfall. Impressive. Dangerous climb muddy if raining. Then 1 hour ride back. So just ok
We didn’t know what to expect but our expectations were blown away. Beautiful scenery and highly informative with our guide Annalise. The bus trip was great and the waterfalls were incredible to see up close. Just do it. We had beautiful weather after starting out in the rain. The sun came out and it was memorable and made the day.
This is an excellent trip to an impressive series of waterfalls. out guide - Sally - was excellent. Full of interesting stories and facts for the whole journey there and back.

Trip to the falls was well organised. Before the trip we were kept informed on when and where to be to be collected. I was surprised that on the coach we had a tour guide who was very good. We had plenty of time at the falls and there was no rush which was good.
The Falls are well worth seeing they are really a fantastic sight. There are crowds walking to the top stage on a narrow path and it's not an easy walk steep and rocky in places. I didn't make it all the way up as being an oldie was finding it difficult. But the views from the lower areas are in my opinion really excellent and I wasn't disappointed about not making it further up.
We were on a cruise and booked this tour via Viator and to be honest we were worried about the usual scare about being left behind etc. But our confidence grew as soon as we got onto the coach as we could see it was all well organised.
The pathway is so overcrowded bordering on being quite dangerous.
It is scenically beautiful and I enjoyed the trip but it was just too overcrowded
It was a wonderful experience. The waterfalls were a nature's work of art to behold. Everyone in our group enjoyed it.

Falls were the biggest and loudest that we had visited. Hike up to the top was little hard but so worth the work, the views from the top were amazing !!
We had an excellent experience and our guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute. Plenty of time. Never felt rushed. Beautiful waterfall. No need for waterproof pants or jacket unless it is an overcast rainy day. Optional Moderate hike to the base of the falls. Lots of levels to view the falls for all ages. Bring a snack to enjoy afterwards on the lawn looming up at the waterfalls. Bathrooms available at the falls. Even filled my water bottle up in the ice cold pure waters- recommended by our tour guide.

It was great from start to finish our guide and driver were great, she gave us lots of fun facts about Isafjordur and Iceland. We had lots is time (1 1/2 hrs) at the waterfall. It's was a beautiful sunny day, I was able to make it to the top of the waterfall and back down with time to spare. I usually only take small group tours but this one was fine cause we only got off and on 1 time so not rushing to get off. I would recommend it.
Nice relaxed trip up to the Waterfall with great commentary along the way. The walk up to the falls is a little rocky but not too strenuous
Very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. Everything was on time and well done. I would not recommend it for individuals with mobility issues since it did require walking up some fairly steep and sometimes rocky pathways. However you could see the falls very well from the starting level without climbing the path
Great excursion to dynjandi waterfall, comfortable coach picked up at the cruise terminal, friendly & informative guide.
The waterfalls are beautiful we had approx 90 mins there, enough time to climb up & back. The climb could be a bit of a challenge & I'm glad it was dry so it wasn't slippery, you can go up as far as you feel able & there are places to stop & take photos

Great shore excursion as you get to see some of the beautiful country side as you travel to and from the waterfall..
Wear good traction shoes and be prepared for crowds if you are on a shore excursion. But definately worth visiting..
This is a lovely, scenic drive through the western fjords to Dynjandi Waterfall. Our driver and guide, Annie, are very kind and told funny stories and interesting facts throughout the drive.
The hike up to the waterfall is difficult. You need proper tread on your climbing shoes and highly recommend walking sticks if you are unsteady walking. Very rocky in spots, easier going up then coming down. There are a few spots to stop and sit and get a photo and enjoy the setting. We had fantastic weather, sunny and warm - not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if it was windy and raining. Providing a boxed lunch with local delicacies might be a nice touch for the future travelers as there were picnic tables available and our tour arrived just at 12:00pm. Definitely a memorable experience.
Beautiful ride. Excellent commentary from our guide. The long tunnel was fascinating. Enjoyed hearing the history and current activities of the areas through which we passed. The waterfall area itself was like icing on the cake. The entire trip was completely enjoyable.
Yes Iceland has many waterfalls but they are all unique and this is one worth seeing. The hike to the base was amazing and every vista was unique. If you have flexibility you may want to go later in the day as the sun rises up over the top of the falls and the lighting is not optimal for photography at that time.
If you are differently abled, there is a path that you can take to one of the lower view points.
Verify with the tour operator where the meeting point is. The visitor site pointed to the brewery near port. Our tour met in the tour bus parking lot - we discovered this by texting the tour operator minutes before the tour was supposed to leave. Maybe it’s different on non-cruise days.
The steps to the top of the falls were only for the very agile. It was uneven stone and very slick, however there were many stopping points with excellent views.
Very informative guide, lots of history and beautiful scenery with local lore aplenty had a great time
We loved this so much. We started with a glitch and could not find a ride there from our cruise ship because we didn’t know there was a bus. So we walked into town and finally found a taxi. I called Forest Lagoon and told them we would be late for our appointment and they accommodated us . was very grateful! so relaxing in the lagoon and we actually did the cold plunge highly recommend this
The views and the waterfalls were amazing and the tour guide did an excellent job. Also, finding the bus was easy.
An enjoyable morning trip to the falls. Highlighted by the narration of all things Icelandic by Camila. She is a fantastic story teller and narrated life in Iceland while we starred out out at the fantastic views Iceland has to offer.

This was a great tour and Adrian was a very knowledgeable guide. The hike up the waterfall is challenging but so worth. This waterfall is amazing!
