When booking a private transfer from the Washington DC city Center and the surrounding areas to Reagan (DCA) Airport you will need to provide your hotel name and address (please choose carefully from the list of destinations we offer) so that we have accurate information to meet you at the proper pickup time and get you to the airport . The type of vehicle you ordered will arrive shortly before your scheduled pickup time so you will have plenty of time to get your luggage. Your transfer will be confirmed within 24 hours of booking, and you will be provided with a travel voucher to present to the driver. Price is per group, based on 3 passengers per sedan and a 5 passenger sport utility vehicle. It's that easy!

Once you paid for the service not cheap than they call you the day before and say now you have to pay a fee for tolls and airport fee 1st there were no tolls and to be dropped off they claimed there was a fee we will never use your services again

Great drivers terrible reservations

First- cars and drivers were great. Second- reservation experience was AWFUL! I had a group of seven so I reserved a limo for seven. Got a call on day before that no limo was available. Was told I would need to make alternate plans. Asked if they could send two cars. Was told not unless I changed reservation through Viator. So I added a second car. Then they told me they couldn’t send any car until I updated the limo. Then a departure location had Alexandria instead of downtown DC. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to line this out and really struggled to get your staff to understand that I just needed to get 7 people from hotel to airport. One of your staff said “why do you have two reservations?” I was not as polite as I should have been…. Your website is confusing, customer service was not great, and all this because you didn’t have the car available that I ordered and paid for a month ago!

We were informed the night before we were being picked up that in addition to the fee we paid of 108.00 we needed to give the driver 25.00 in cash. For airport fees. What a rip off and a lie. We could have taken a Lyft or Uber for 25.00. But not being at all familiar with DC I didn’t want to take the chance of not getting a ride to the airport. On a positive note the driver was very nice and professional.

Arranged for a ride from my DC hotel to DCA for 1:15 PM. Received a text at 12:45 that the driver had arrived. At precisely 1:14 PM I received a phone cal from someone at the transportation company telling me that my driver was waiting and that I should come down right away and that I would be charged a late fee if I wasn’t down in 15 minutes. (I believe they actually have a 30 minute grace period for waiting) We were on our way down to the vehicle when he called (just waiting for hotel bellman to bring our luggage down) and arrived at the hotel lobby at 1:20. When the man called me I told him I scheduled a 1:15 pick up - not 12:45 so it was not my fault the driver was waiting. He responded in a rude manner that it was now 1:15 and I wasn’t there yet. I didn’t mind the call to let me know the driver was there. What I did not like was the rude manner in which I was spoken to. This was not satisfactory to me. It was an expensive 10 minute ride to the airport ($120+) and I expected a little more politeness on the part of the caller. The driver was polite and did a fine job.

The ride was great. Our flight was at 6am and our driver was ready and professional dressed outside of our hotel at 4am. He was very polite. I didn’t like the last minute $25 “cash” fee we were asked to pay at pick up. The site does say that we would be responsible for fees if any and when the driver called dispatch they explained it was for airport fees. What airport fees? The driver drove us to the terminal and dropped us off. There were no fees and the driver did not take a toll road. I was disappointed but did not argue as we had no choice.

Driver got lost

The driver was nice and the dispatcher was very motivated to fix the problem but the driver was 15 minutes last picking us up because he could not find the hotel. Ultimately not a problem since we still got to the airport with time to spare.

I have used Viator for the last ten years for air port pick ups and departures. Literally all over the world, check your records, and I have encouraged my traveling companions to do the same. As usual I schedule a pick up from Reagan International at the same time, I schedule our departure. The cost was 100.00 to take 4 of us 4 miles PLUS when we arrived we were told we owed 25.00 cash for airport taxes. 125.00 for 4 miles. We used Uber to go from our hotel in Alexandria to the National Cathedral Black SUV 48.50. We took Uber back and forth from Alexandria to different destinations in DC and combined it did not cost what our pick-up and departure of 4 miles cost. So disappointed in Viator. 10 years of booking with Viator and now I will second guess using it for our Tavel needs. So sad!!!

Paying 65.00 for a 12 - 15 ride is way over priced. I was told 50.00 when I booked the transfer, and then was told by the driver when we got picked up we had to pay an additional 15.00. My advice - take a taxi - there are a lot of them - price would been around 20.00 for the same distance. I will never use this service again.

Service was good, Having never been to Washington DC before, I didn't know what to expect in the way of transportation to/from the airport. Taxis appear to be plentiful and cost approximately 20 from downtown around the White House to DCA. So paying 50 for this service plus an additional 14 in cash is a bit much. If I had it to do over again, I would just use a taxi.

The cars are great, clean, and the service is timely. But if you are picked from an airport, you will be asked to add a dubious 14 fee for each leg of your trip. This fee was not included up front when you booked. Moreover, you have to pay it cash no credit card! This looks to me like a ripp-off! I will not ride with Viator again.
