I have done the guided tour before and it’s great. However, with children this is better. You can get audio guide for cheap inside and then pace it as you feel it.

It’s worth seeing but try and avoid very crowded times as you just can’t appreciate anything if there’s a throng. We booked skip the line with Viator and were met by. Your Rome person who was brilliant and got us in the museum very quickly and with minimum fuss. She also gave very useful tulx

Highly recommend this tour. Out booking included an audio guide, you can bring your own headphones (wired aux) or pay for some at the front. 10/10 would book again.

Glad we had arranged this skip the line. The entrance of the museum is chaotic ( and this is not full season, yet!) , the guide (she was very nice.) helped us maneuver through. Then, we went through the museum on our own as we liked.

Amazing and beautiful. Only thing is there are a lot of stairs if traveling with a stroller. Other than that it was a beautiful experience.

The coordinates given on the meeting point function was wrong. It added approx 15 mins to the travel time which was stessfull. I felt that buying the ticket was a waste of money as the coordinator just crossed the street and walked you to the entrance which you could do yourself. Skip the line was not needed the day and time I took the tour

I was really disappointed with this tour operator. For the price they charge, I expected a far better experience. Unfortunately, not only was the tour overpriced, but the staff member assigned to us was not helpful at all. They provided very little information, didn’t seem interested in answering questions, and overall made the experience feel unorganized and unprofessional. I definitely don’t feel the service matched the cost, and I wouldn’t book with them again.

We wasted a ton of money. This was simply a ticket passed out to us and being pointed to the entrance of the museum. No skipping the line. No other support. And it was difficult to locate the person among the crowds. I get it - if the Vatican Museum is itself sold out, then you need a ticket from a tour operator. But what a scam. Find the cheapest you can. Avoid this one.

Had good experience. We booked at 9:45am and skipped the big (likely 2 hr queue) and were first in line. It was easy to find the guide using the instructions on the app and she explained where to go to line up well and allowed for extra questions. Very smooth process. I will book again next time thanks.

It is not actually skip the line - still had to line up with numerous other skip the line ticket holders only to be told that administration needed to print the ticket as online from what’s up did not work - meaning not able to skip the line twice.
One of the tickets did not work and lucky we were in group to confirm was valid.
The attraction was good - would not do it again - although glad to have done it. Crowded and obviously overbooked. Guilded groups and guilds difficult to navigate around.
Tour operator needs to give option to have tickets emailed incases like ours WhatsApp not successful or at least clear instructions.

When in Rome, one needs to see the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. It was a great tour. It is quite overwhelming to see all of the artwork, statutes, etc. Amazing.

Still long line even with the skip the line pass. Actually the longest line. I couldn’t imagine lines during busy season so November was a better time to go. Still we were able to get in a see everything we wanted. You need at least 3 hours.

Seeing the Sistine chapel (it was hard to find). It was way too packed, people stayed in front of paintings blocking the view for extended periods of time. Way too busy, especially if someone has anxiety.

visiting the sistine chapel. Otherwise not happy with Viator Rome. As a tourist first time traveler to Rome I'm relying with Viator Assistance. Paid $$$ but they were no where around. We have to ask help from other people to get Vatican. Personaly ask the VAtican guard or to help us out. They just told us to in line???? We bought a skipo the line!!!! Viator is no where to guide us....

The experience is great and tour operator deliver the ticket nicely. But the cost of the ticket is 4 times the actual price that is insane. Felt cheated after went to the attractions and realize that easy to get online tickets from government sites.

We arrived 25 mi uses last our entry time (transportation issues) and they let us right in. This was great because it was 97 degrees and we didn't have to wait in the long line in the sun. On our own we set our own pace and were in and out in less than 2 hours as we were on a time crunch. What an amazing museum!
