    Amazing day on Exit Glacier

    Katja_W, Jul 2026
What an amazing experience! I loved every minute. The hike to the glacier was hard but so rewarding and once we were on the glacier it was like a dream. The landscape was otherworldly. We crossed the glacier and then came the fun part: climbing an ice wall. Our guides picked a couple of routes that were challenging but doable and we all had a great time climbing and cheering the others on. Walking off the glacier was hard - not physically but because we loved being on it so much. The hike back was fun because we felt so accomplished. All in all, it was a perfect adventure.

    Ice climbing was great!...

The tour was great! Walking and then climbing on the ice was amazing. The hike was strenuous to get there, but worth it. Our guides, Nick and Caroline, were amazing! They were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very safe and comfortable. One of our favorite and best activities on our Alaska trip!

    Great Adventure!

It was an amazing experience that we will remember forever. Our guide Travis was first class! We would highly recommend this adventure to anyone that is seeking something outside of the norm!

Such an awesome experience!!! Everything about this was fun: the hike (although, a bit challenging), eating lunch on a glacier, climbing the glacier - even the weather changing from rain, to snow, to sunshine (and eventually back to rain) was enjoyable. Bring several layers!! Our guides, Brandon & Nick, were amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them! Great guides & great people. The front desk gal was also so nice & answered all of my questions before I booked this :) 10/10 all around!

It is for experienced and fit hikers. It was a 6-7 mile round trip, very steep on the way up. The guides are awesome and the ice hike and climb was awesome.
