I really can’t say enough how wonderful today has been and how fabulous the tour was. 11 hours from being picked up at our Airbnb to being dropped at a supermarket at the end. I’ve had communications with Vlad, Slav and Dan by WhatsApp and knew we were in good hands. Vlad is fun, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and a really great driver and guide. He turned up at our apartment with a cheery “rise and shine, I’m outside” text and we were off. Just a small group of 6, gift bags for all full of snacks and bottles of water.
I’ve read the views and can confirm he gave us so much useful information, drove carefully and safely, was happy to chat about anything or answer trip related questions. He kindly joined us and took the group on a trail which turned into an Eco walk where he showed us medicinal/edible plants and berries, natural mineral springs, fungi etc. His knowledge was amazing as was his joy walking round the woods barefoot and running along logs like a mountain goat!
We saw 3 waterfalls and a river. We walked and did a little hiking to the falls, all optional and not difficult although care is needed.
It’s been a wonderful day and we would recommend this tour with this company to everyone and it’s a must do if you’re in Seattle.

The company didn’t check the website and we were unable to see Mt. Ranier. The guide had no backup plan and we wasted a day of vacation. Very disappointing. Also the guides driving was terrible; routinely was 20-30 over the speed limit and felt unsafe. Would NOT recommend for families.

Actually we were scheduled for Mt Ranier tour , but due to weather and not enough people signing up for tour, the tour was canceled. But we were offered an alternative of a tour to Leavenworth, which we took.. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Leavenworth is a beautiful Bavarian style town nestled in mountains. Lots of interesting shops and good food places. We stopped at Deception Falls on the way back which was beautiful! We had a restroom stop on the way up to Leavenworth and one on the way back which was great as its about a 2 hour plus drive to Leavenworth . Our tour guide, Slava, was excellent. He was very friendly and was very knowledgeable of the area and history. The van ride up and back was made more enjoyable with his tidbits of information and humor. And lastly, it was nice being picked up at our location instead of having to drive to a meeting point.

Operator told me when I called at pickup site to check on arrival time that it was canceled. Claimed text sent night before but I never received one and the app still had a ticket for me with no cancellation or message.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I truly understand how disappointing it is to arrive at the pickup point and learn that the tour could not operate, and I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
For your tour date, we sent a text message to the cellphone number provided in your reservation the evening before. In that message, we explained the severe weather forecast and the road conditions reported by the National Park. Mount Rainier was experiencing heavy snow, storm activity, and unsafe driving conditions, and several key areas of the park were closed. For the safety of our guests, in the message we offered you the alternative date, tour or cancel the tour with full refund but, unfortunately, we hadn't receive any responses from you.
Additionally, you were the only confirmed reservation for that departure, which also made it impossible for us to operate the tour that day. We understand that the Viator app did not update on your end, and we apologize for any confusion this caused.
Your experience matters to us, and we are always working to improve our communication so situations like this are clearer and smoother for our guests. If you ever return to Seattle, we would be honored to welcome you on a future tour under better weather conditions.

This was an awesome experience! Our guide,
Vlad was knowledgeable and had great information. He was kind and patient and took us to really beautiful spots on the mountain. I would recommend anyone to take this tour, especially if you’re a solo traveler. It was my first time on a solo trip and I felt very safe.

Absolutely the best experience we had on a tour. Vladimir was very knowledgeable about the area, He ensured we saw the most spectacular areas of Mt. Ranier. If your looking to tour Mt. Ranier he is a must for a tour guy.

Vlad was our tour guide and he was amazing! I would highly recommend him! He took us to all of the best spots on our tour. I got amazing pictures and my entire family had a wonderful time. We traveled with three boys ages 12, 11, and 7 and they were all at a great age for the trip! They picked us up from our cruise port and dropped us off at the airport at the end of the excursion. It was a wonderful way to spend our last day in Seattle area!

Our driver Farshid was very considerate and flexible driver on our two hour drive to Mt. Rainier. He is so knowledgeable about where to get the best mountain views and even knows areas on the way to stop to get great photo shots. We saw more than we ever thought we could see on a tour.

My family of 9; 6 adults, 3 kiddos went on the customized Mt. Rainier tour with Farshid on August 9th. It was a wonderful tour and he was very attentive and patient with our group. He even let us make a stop for food even though it wasn’t on the plan. He really did go above and beyond for us and made sure we saw everything we wanted to and made us very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Mount Ranier Nation Park was stunning. The stops within the park were amazing to see and the views were spectacular. Our guide was knowledgeable, but his driving was erratic and at times we felt unsafe; he was speeding around curves and frequently passed cars on the left as if he was driving a sports car instead of a tour van. Additionally his speaker microphone in the van did not work, and while this was not his fault, he should have tested it prior to the tour so that he could have swapped it out prior to departure. He also talked to the passenger in the front seat extensively but rarely to the group. I enjoyed the tour despite the guide not because of him.

Full day trip to Mt. Ranier without hassles. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Our guide, Vladimir, was local, knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour provided opportunities for short hikes. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Vladimir was energetic and shared his love for the environment. He was spot on with advising us of best views and paths to take (or avoid). Great day trip! (You will be gone 10+ hours don’t make PM plans). It’s a long ride to/from Seattle to Mt Rainier but worth it.

We booked the tour through Viator but the actual company that did the tour was Oktay tours. Micheal was the tour guide & he also the owner of the company. He has done this tour numerous times & he was very knowledgeable. Great way to spend the day!

We had a beautiful day visiting Mount Ranier and all its surrounding beauty to include multiple waterfalls. Our guide, Farshid, was awesome ands very knowledgeable about the scenery and history. He communicated with hs very well through text and kept us fully informed of the daily plans. For those of you thinking about taking this trip: do it! Keep in mind that the roads up near the top is winding - s curve after a curve. If you get car sick easy, load up on Dramamine! I took the non-drousy and did very well. We were asked to join another person and go to Leavenworth WA vs Mt Rainier. The driver/guide was excellent and made stops along the journey to see waterfalls and deep pools plus stunning mountain vistas. We weren’t thrilled by Leavenworth. Cute imitation Bavarian town with shops & restaurants, but not my “cup of tea.”

There is a 2 hr drive to get to Mt Rainier, but it is worth it. We stopped at several water falls and scenic points.

We visited Mt. Rainier with Daniel as our driver/ guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew all the best stops for photos. We enjoyed this very much!

This was an awesome tour. Daniel, our tour guide was the Best. He wanted to be sure everyone got the best experience possible. He was very flexible allowing us to explore as much/little as we wanted. Not only was he knowledgeable about the sites we saw he also had a great personality which kept things interesting.

A great way to explore Mt. Rainer as a first timer! Especially since there isn’t signal is some parts of the park. Our guide was also amazing.

It is an all day event. Pack your rain gear because it can be drizzly if it is cloudy. Slava was great tour guide. He was the best photographer! He tried several times to get a view of the mountain on a cloudy day.

This is a great way to experience many spots in Mt Rainier National Park on a personal level! We left the driving (through Seattle traffic and on curvy mountainous roads) and the park research (what spots we needed to visit and how to get there) to our driver/guide. Farshid did not disappoint! We learned and saw so much. Each stop was scenic and showcased the beauty of the park. It was a wonderful day (albeit long) and was well worth it. Our small group was wonderful. The weather was beautiful and the trip was memorable. It’s a must do day trip from Seattle!
