I really can’t say enough how wonderful today has been and how fabulous the tour was. 11 hours from being picked up at our Airbnb to being dropped at a supermarket at the end. I’ve had communications with Vlad, Slav and Dan by WhatsApp and knew we were in good hands. Vlad is fun, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and a really great driver and guide. He turned up at our apartment with a cheery “rise and shine, I’m outside” text and we were off. Just a small group of 6, gift bags for all full of snacks and bottles of water.
I’ve read the views and can confirm he gave us so much useful information, drove carefully and safely, was happy to chat about anything or answer trip related questions. He kindly joined us and took the group on a trail which turned into an Eco walk where he showed us medicinal/edible plants and berries, natural mineral springs, fungi etc. His knowledge was amazing as was his joy walking round the woods barefoot and running along logs like a mountain goat!
We saw 3 waterfalls and a river. We walked and did a little hiking to the falls, all optional and not difficult although care is needed.
It’s been a wonderful day and we would recommend this tour with this company to everyone and it’s a must do if you’re in Seattle.

Made stops at so many picturesque places. Mehrdad was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Thank you so much for your kind review, Barb! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the many picturesque stops throughout your Mount Rainier adventure. One of our favorite parts of this tour is sharing the stunning scenery and hidden viewpoints that make the journey just as memorable as the destination itself.
We'll be sure to pass along your wonderful comments to Mehrdad. His knowledge of the area and dedication to making each guest's experience enjoyable and personalized are qualities we truly value, and we're delighted they helped make your day special.
Thank you for choosing to explore with us and for recommending our tour to future visitors. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable Pacific Northwest adventure soon! 😊🏔️🌲📸✨
If you plan to take luggage, let them know ahead of time like we did. The van is not big on luggage space and we were forced to sit next to our luggage which kept falling on us. The ride is very rough, bumpy, and lots of curves. Of you have a bad back like I do, ask to sit forward, we were all the way in the back and the vans shock absorbers did not soften the blows. Our driver/guide, Silas, was excellent!
Response from Host, Sep 2026
**Dear Timothy,**
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re happy that you enjoyed the beautiful views of **Mount Rainier** and especially appreciate your kind words about **Silas**. We’ll be sure your compliment is shared with him.
We’re also grateful for your comments regarding the ride and luggage arrangements. Mount Rainier is a true mountain adventure, and portions of the journey naturally include winding mountain roads and curves. However, we understand that vehicle comfort and luggage placement can make an important difference, particularly for guests who may have back concerns.
For travelers joining us with luggage, we always appreciate advance notice so our team can plan the available space as carefully as possible. We will also use your feedback to improve how we coordinate seating and luggage so that the journey can be more comfortable for everyone.
Thank you again, Timothy, for choosing **Oktay Tours & Travel** and for recognizing Silas’s excellent service. We truly appreciate both your compliments and constructive feedback, as they help us continue improving the experience for our future guests.
Warm regards,
**Daniel & the Oktay Tours & Travel Team**
My. Rainer was absolutely beautiful and our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this excursion and guide

Silas was our tour guide yesterday through Mt. Rainier. He was awesome; He stopped at all the perfect spots to see all the beautiful sights and told us about specific trails we had time to explore. We could not have asked for a more engaged and kind tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go see Mt. Rainier. My husband and I live north of Seattle and had family in from Ohio and decided to take a guided tour rather than driving on our own, and what a great decision. Thank you Silas for a wonderful day!!!!
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Dear Debra,
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience with us. We are truly delighted to hear that your day at Mount Rainier was everything you hoped for. Silas will be overjoyed to know his care, kindness, and attention made your visit special.
It means a great deal that you chose a guided tour for your family’s visit, and we are honored to have been part of your day together. Your recommendation is sincerely appreciated.
Warmest regards from all of us at Oktay Tours.
This trip is well worth the cost. As an older solo traveler, this trip allowed me to see all the beauty of Mt. Rainier safely. And Silas was a wonderful driver and guide. His forestry knowledge was an added bonus.
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Dear Kris,
We sincerely appreciate your feedback. It’s wonderful to know that Silas provided a safe, enjoyable, and informative experience during your customized Mount Rainier tour. Ensuring comfort for solo travelers is very important to us, and your recognition means a great deal.
Thank you for joining us — it was our pleasure to host you.
Very poor experience. No actual tour; no information about Mt Rainier National Park history, trees, wild flowers, animals, number of visitors/yr. Inadequate 1-hr time at Visitor Center after 3-hr drive without a bathroom stop.
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Dear Clare,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your Mount Rainier experience did not meet your expectations.
At Oktay Tours & Travel, guest comfort, safety, and respectful service are very important to us. We have reviewed the details of this tour with our team, including the timing, driving route, restroom opportunities, and guest experience throughout the day. Mount Rainier tours do involve a long scenic drive, and timing can sometimes be affected by road conditions, park operations, weather, traffic, and the needs of the group during the tour.
We also want to kindly mention that, for privacy and professionalism, we do not discuss all circumstances of a tour publicly. However, we always take guest feedback seriously and use it to improve communication, comfort stops, timing, and the overall tour experience.
Our guides work very hard to provide safe, respectful, and memorable experiences for every guest, and we are sorry that this day did not feel that way for you. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your travels.
The guide was not much of a guide, he was more of a driver. When I asked questions he wasn't sure of the answers about the park. Also the snacks provided were not the same as provided on the trip information on viator. Being picked up at our hotel was great.
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Dear Pamela,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your Mount Rainier experience did not fully meet your expectations.
At Oktay Tours & Travel, we always want our guests to feel comfortable, cared for, and informed throughout the day. Silas is one of our experienced professional driver-guides, and many guests have shared wonderful five-star feedback about his kindness, safe driving, and beautiful scenic stops. That said, we truly respect your comments and will review them carefully with our team to continue improving the guest experience.
Mount Rainier tours can sometimes be affected by weather, road conditions, park access, timing, and seasonal changes, but we always do our best to provide a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable day. We’re glad to hear that the hotel pickup was convenient for you, and we appreciate you mentioning that.
Thank you again for your feedback. We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Mehrdad was pleasant when he spoke but it was more like an overpriced uber ride. We drove home for two hours with no talking at all, his job is to make us feel comfortable. Instead it was very awkward, he was speeding most of the drive, used his personal mini van which was run down and overheated at the end. We just left and walked. I would suggest renting a car where you and your family can feel comfortable, save money and not feel stressed or pay more for a quality tours. Don’t use this company.
Response from Host, Sep 2026
Dear Robyn,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your Mount Rainier experience did not meet your expectations.
At Oktay Tours & Travel, we truly care about guest comfort, safety, and the quality of every tour. Mehrdad has been a valued member of our team for more than seven years and has received many wonderful five-star reviews from guests for his kindness, professionalism, and service. That said, we take all feedback seriously and will review your comments with our team, including communication during the drive, guest comfort, and vehicle condition.
Mount Rainier tours involve long scenic drives and can sometimes be affected by road conditions, timing, weather, and group needs, but our goal is always to make the day enjoyable, informative, and comfortable from beginning to end.
We’re sorry this tour did not reflect the experience we work hard to provide. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again on another beautiful experience in Washington.
Warm regards,
A non-stressful way to hit many of the hot spots of Mt. Rainier. This tour is family friendly and the hiking options are fantastic for the novice. Our tour guide, Silas, made the most of the inclement weather conditions so that we could spend adequate time at each stop. He also made a bonus stop along the river for exploration since the mountain didn’t show its face that day (due to dense fog). His knowledge of forestry was incredible and was able to answer all of our questions confidently.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Joe,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed a non-stressful Mount Rainier experience, even with the changing weather conditions.

Our tour was exactly what was advertised on Viator.
The vehicle was clean, snacks were provided, and all stops were accounted for.
The highlight of the tour was our guide, Slava. He is a Renaissance man. He carries a knowledge and outlook that is vast. He noted vegetation, rock formations, and animals throughout our journey. He has wonderful sense of humor, and insight.
Slava, was a professional town car driver for many years, and used the skills he acquired at that profession to navigate us out, around, and back to Seattle.
Thanks Viator & Slava for delivering a wonderful adventure. It was unforgettable!

Silas, our driver, was a wonderful driver. He pointed out interesting areas along the way! We were given plenty of time on all of our spots. He help take photos for us and he ended the day with two very special treats! You will have to join him to find out what he has in store for you!

We enjoyed our day with Silas! We had beautiful weather the day we went. The park was very crowded but our driver made stops easy with drop off or pickup as needed. We were able to see all stops listed but some seemed rushed to fit it all in. We picked this tour because of the flexibility of pickup and drop-off locations that worked with our schedule. I would have appreciated more narrative as we went along as we knew nothing of the area. He was able to answer any questions once asked. Silas was friendly and patient with the whole group all day. The cherries on the way out and coffee in Elbe were delicious!
Response from Host, Jun 2026

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an outstanding experience on our Mount Rainier tour from Seattle. Our driver and guide, Daniel, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish.
Daniel shared fascinating history about Seattle, Mount Rainier, and the surrounding areas, which made the journey just as interesting as the destination itself. His passion for the region was evident, and he kept everyone engaged with informative and entertaining commentary throughout the day.
The scenery at Mount Rainier was absolutely breathtaking, and Daniel ensured we had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the views and learn about the park's unique features. His attention to detail and commitment to providing a great experience truly stood out.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seattle, and if you're fortunate enough to have Daniel as your guide, you're in for a fantastic experience. Thank you for a memorable day!

We can’t say enough good things about the tour company that puts this tour on. We had originally planned to go to Mt. Rainer, but bad weather meant a lot of areas would be hard to see or closed so they offered an alternative tour to Leavenworth, the cutest little Bavarian town in the mountains. We had disembarked our cruise and needed a way to spend the day still, so we said why not. Our guide picked us up right from the pier, which was great and made it easy for us following the somewhat hectic disembarkation. We were supposed to have another couple with us but they didn’t show up, so we actually got a private tour.
Our tour guide, Mehrdad, was a great host and guide. We felt like we were traveling with a friend who wanted to show us some cool spots around town. He had excellent recommendations and stories, too! Can’t say enough good things about our experience with him, and we were able to have a great day seeing quite a few unique stops along the way. 10/10, would absolutely do this again. They will also drop you off at the airport for a nominal fee, which was greatly appreciated.
All in all, if you’re looking for what feels like a more authentic view of some of the great spots around Seattle, i would absolutely recommend a tour with Merhdad.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Sarah,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re truly delighted to hear that, even with the unexpected weather, your day turned into such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Flexibility is at the heart of what we do, and we’re glad the alternative Leavenworth tour gave you a beautiful and authentic look at Washington.
Mehrdad will be overjoyed to read your kind words. His warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for guests shine through in every tour he leads, and knowing he made your day smooth, fun, and meaningful means the world to our entire team.
We’re honored by your 10/10 recommendation and grateful you chose to spend your time with us. Whenever your travels bring you back to Seattle, we would love to welcome you again for another unforgettable adventure.
Warmest regards,
Oktay Tours & Travel
Comfortable trip. The guide was experienced, friendly, and helpful. My one note would be more time at Paradise and fewer stops. The couple hours at paradise blows by with so much to explore and I’d rather wander the mountain over stop roadside for a view.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Morgan,
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found the trip comfortable and that your guide’s experience, friendliness, and support helped make your day enjoyable.
We also truly appreciate your note about spending more time at Paradise. It’s an incredibly special part of Mount Rainier, and your perspective is valuable as we continue refining our itineraries to give guests the most meaningful experience possible.
Thank you again for choosing to explore with us. We hope to welcome you back for another beautiful adventure in the future.

We had an awesome day touring Mt Rainier, our driver Daniel was exceptional. He checked the morning of the tour, picked us up at the pier. He had snacks for all of us, he showed us places others didn't know about and how to avoid crowded areas. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Patricia,
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us. Silas was great. Very patient with both my kids and my elderly dad. He was knowledgeable of the area and it was fun hearing him put his forestry knowledge to use.

Enjoyed the small group trip to Mt Ranier with pickup at hotel which was very convenient. Slava, our driver and guide, was excellent. Although we could not see the mountain due to weather we still enjoyed all of the stops and wonderful pictures that we took. Highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much, Michael, for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your customized Mount Rainier experience, even with the mountain hiding behind the clouds. Slava will be thrilled to know his guiding made the day special for you. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure — hopefully with clear skies next time.
This was an excellent almost full day tour from downtown Seattle out to Mount Rainier. It included stops at Elbe and Longmire on the way to the top and multiple stops for waterfall views We had beautiful weather and our tour guide,. Slava was excellent. He mixes humor with facts and kept us entertained throughout the day. Highly recommend both Slava and Oktay tours
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much, Tanya, for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed a beautiful day at Mount Rainier and that Slava’s mix of humor, knowledge, and care made the experience even more memorable. It’s great that you were able to enjoy the waterfalls, the scenic stops, and the sunshine. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back on another adventure.
Absolutely amazing Travelers should know there is a little bit of hiking maybe about a mile so that if you are in a wheelchair or if you have a scooter you may not be able to make it all the way around but most of the trip they will. Slava was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic we could not give him Enough stars!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much, Danny, for your amazing review. We’re thrilled to hear that your Mount Rainier experience was absolutely memorable and that Slava made the day exceptional. We appreciate you mentioning the light hiking and accessibility considerations — this is very helpful for future travelers. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure.
Vlad and his co-pilot Cyrus were approachable and friendly throughout the tour and kept checking in to make sure the group had enough time and took it at our pace to gaze at Mount Rainier and Waterfalls as well as other local stops along the way. They made sure we were able to see as much as possible during our time and even went the extra mile by offering to assist all passengers off the bus at each stop. Thank you, we all had a lovely day!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much, Emma, for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear that Vlad and Cyrus made your Mount Rainier experience so comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendly approach and constant check‑ins are exactly the kind of care we want every guest to feel. We’re glad you had plenty of time to enjoy the waterfalls, the mountain views, and all the scenic stops. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back again.
Vladimir was on time for pick up, very kind & a funny host for our tour. Glad was full of interesting facts of the Seattle area & Mt Rainier. You can feel his passion for the outdoors - his knowledge for plants & wildlife is incredible. We never felt rushed we could explore the various stops at our leisure. It was a great tour & highly recommend. Unfortunately, Mt Rainier did not cooperate and hid behind the clouds but overall we had a wonderful experience! Thanks Vlad! You rock!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Robert, for your thoughtful feedback. We’re pleased to know that Vlad’s guiding, the comfortable pacing, and the variety of scenic stops all contributed to a great experience, even with Mount Rainier behind the clouds. Your appreciation means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you on another tour in the future.
I can’t imagine anybody more perfect as a guide for this tour than Vladimir! It starts with pickup at your own hotel door! From the first moment he was always concerned for our comfort and interests from door pickup to providing snacks, to concern and help for another guest suffering from car sickness to providing a hand (literally, to help me up steep hills), to car temperature…everything. On top of that, he knows everything about Mt. Rainier from edible plants to how things look in different seasons to changes from the past week to history of the area. He can talk about practically any subject and was so enjoyable to be with. Then, coming back, when the multi-lane highway traffic just stopped and was all backed up, he jumped off at an exit because he knows the area and was able to skip all of that. It was a long 10 hour trip, but it was amazing! We were even treated to being there for a rare chance to see snow up there in May!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much, David, for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear that Vladimir made your Mount Rainier experience so comfortable from the very first moment, from hotel pickup to thoughtful touches like snacks and personal assistance. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we’re grateful you chose to spend the day with our team.
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Mt. Rainier with Vlad as our guide. Communication was great and he was very personable and friendly. It was a small group of 4 and I was solo. We had ample times at the stops made and Vlad had provided great insights into the visited spots. We visited prior to Reflection Lakes being opened and I would LOVE to retake this tour again in later months when the spring/summer landscape is lush and vibrant with wildflowers.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Clayton, for your thoughtful feedback. We’re pleased to hear that Vlad’s communication, friendliness, and local insights helped create a memorable Mount Rainier experience. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you back during the spring or summer season when the wildflowers are at their peak.
