I really can’t say enough how wonderful today has been and how fabulous the tour was. 11 hours from being picked up at our Airbnb to being dropped at a supermarket at the end. I’ve had communications with Vlad, Slav and Dan by WhatsApp and knew we were in good hands. Vlad is fun, friendly, knowledgeable, kind and a really great driver and guide. He turned up at our apartment with a cheery “rise and shine, I’m outside” text and we were off. Just a small group of 6, gift bags for all full of snacks and bottles of water.
I’ve read the views and can confirm he gave us so much useful information, drove carefully and safely, was happy to chat about anything or answer trip related questions. He kindly joined us and took the group on a trail which turned into an Eco walk where he showed us medicinal/edible plants and berries, natural mineral springs, fungi etc. His knowledge was amazing as was his joy walking round the woods barefoot and running along logs like a mountain goat!
We saw 3 waterfalls and a river. We walked and did a little hiking to the falls, all optional and not difficult although care is needed.
It’s been a wonderful day and we would recommend this tour with this company to everyone and it’s a must do if you’re in Seattle.

Our tour was exactly what was advertised on Viator.
The vehicle was clean, snacks were provided, and all stops were accounted for.
The highlight of the tour was our guide, Slava. He is a Renaissance man. He carries a knowledge and outlook that is vast. He noted vegetation, rock formations, and animals throughout our journey. He has wonderful sense of humor, and insight.
Slava, was a professional town car driver for many years, and used the skills he acquired at that profession to navigate us out, around, and back to Seattle.
Thanks Viator & Slava for delivering a wonderful adventure. It was unforgettable!

We were informed by text who our driver was and when to expect him!. He was interested in knowing us and he was definitely interested in us having a great time! Silas, our driver, was a wonderful driver. He pointed out interesting areas along the way! We were given plenty of time on all of our spots. We enjoyed our day with Silas! We had beautiful weather the day we went. The park was very crowded but our driver made stops easy with drop off or pickup as needed. We were able to see all stops listed but some seemed rushed to fit it all in. We picked this tour because of the flexibility of pickup and drop-off locations that worked with our schedule. I would have appreciated more narrative as we went along as we knew nothing of the area. He was able to answer any questions once asked. Silas was friendly and patient with the whole group all day. The cherries on the way out and coffee in Elbe were delicious!

We can’t say enough good things about the tour company that puts this tour on. We had originally planned to go to Mt. Rainer, but bad weather meant a lot of areas would be hard to see or closed so they offered an alternative tour to Leavenworth, the cutest little Bavarian town in the mountains. We had disembarked our cruise and needed a way to spend the day still, so we said why not. Our guide picked us up right from the pier, which was great and made it easy for us following the somewhat hectic disembarkation. We were supposed to have another couple with us but they didn’t show up, so we actually got a private tour.
Our tour guide, Mehrdad, was a great host and guide. We felt like we were traveling with a friend who wanted to show us some cool spots around town. He had excellent recommendations and stories, too! Can’t say enough good things about our experience with him, and we were able to have a great day seeing quite a few unique stops along the way. 10/10, would absolutely do this again. They will also drop you off at the airport for a nominal fee, which was greatly appreciated.
All in all, if you’re looking for what feels like a more authentic view of some of the great spots around Seattle, i would absolutely recommend a tour with Merhdad.

Comfortable trip. The guide was experienced, friendly, and helpful. My one note would be more time at Paradise and fewer stops. The couple hours at paradise blows by with so much to explore and I’d rather wander the mountain over stop roadside for a view.

This was an excellent almost full day tour from downtown Seattle out to Mount Rainier. It included stops at Elbe and Longmire on the way to the top and multiple stops for waterfall views We had beautiful weather and our tour guide,. Slava was excellent. Absolutely amazing Travelers should know there is a little bit of hiking maybe about a mile so that if you are in a wheelchair or if you have a scooter you may not be able to make it all the way around but most of the trip they will. Slava was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic we could not give him Enough stars!

Vlad and his co-pilot Cyrus were approachable and friendly throughout the tour and kept checking in to make sure the group had enough time and took it at our pace to gaze at Mount Rainier and Waterfalls as well as other local stops along the way. Vladimir was on time for pick up, very kind & a funny host for our tour. Glad was full of interesting facts of the Seattle area & Mt Rainier. You can feel his passion for the outdoors - his knowledge for plants & wildlife is incredible. We never felt rushed we could explore the various stops at our leisure. I can’t imagine anybody more perfect as a guide for this tour than Vladimir! It starts with pickup at your own hotel door! From the first moment he was always concerned for our comfort and interests from door pickup to providing snacks, to concern and help for another guest suffering from car sickness to providing a hand (literally, to help me up steep hills), to car temperature…everything. On top of that, he knows everything about Mt. Rainier from edible plants to how things look in different seasons to changes from the past week to history of the area. He can talk about practically any subject and was so enjoyable to be with. Then, coming back, when the multi-lane highway traffic just stopped and was all backed up, he jumped off at an exit because he knows the area and was able to skip all of that. It was a long 10 hour trip, but it was amazing! We were even treated to being there for a rare chance to see snow up there in May!

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Mt. Rainier with Vlad as our guide. Communication was great and he was very personable and friendly. It was a small group of 4 and I was solo. We had ample times at the stops made and Vlad had provided great insights into the visited spots. We visited prior to Reflection Lakes being opened and I would LOVE to retake this tour again in later months when the spring/summer landscape is lush and vibrant with wildflowers.

We booked a customized tour to Mount Rainier even though we’re locals, mainly because we wanted to enjoy the trip without the stress of driving and it was 100% worth it.
Instead of going to the meet-up point, the driver was kind enough to pick us up directly from our apartment since we’re near downtown, which was super convenient. They also dropped us off close to our place after the tour, we just had to walk about a block, which we didn’t mind at all.
The tour covered almost everything in the itinerary. The only stop we missed was Reflection Lake since the road was closed at the time, which was understandable and out of the guide’s control.
Overall, the experience was fun and convenient. Our guide/driver was knowledgeable and shared helpful information along the way. They also provided free water and snacks, which we appreciated.
One thing to note, the drive felt a bit fast at times, and since we were seated toward the back of the van, it got a little bouncy. It didn’t ruin the experience for us, but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to that.
Despite that, we still really enjoyed the trip. It’s a relaxing and easy way to experience Mount Rainier without worrying about the drive. Definitely a must-see, even for locals!

I really enjoyed the day tour from Seattle to Mt Rainier. Our guide, Vlad, was very knowledgeable of the area and stopped off at a number of great viewpoints on the way to the final stop at the foot of Mr Rainier. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area.

The company didn’t check the website and we were unable to see Mt. Ranier. The guide had no backup plan and we wasted a day of vacation. Very disappointing. Also the guides driving was terrible; routinely was 20-30 over the speed limit and felt unsafe. Would NOT recommend for families.

Actually we were scheduled for Mt Ranier tour , but due to weather and not enough people signing up for tour, the tour was canceled. But we were offered an alternative of a tour to Leavenworth, which we took.. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Leavenworth is a beautiful Bavarian style town nestled in mountains. Lots of interesting shops and good food places. We stopped at Deception Falls on the way back which was beautiful! We had a restroom stop on the way up to Leavenworth and one on the way back which was great as its about a 2 hour plus drive to Leavenworth . Our tour guide, Slava, was excellent. He was very friendly and was very knowledgeable of the area and history. The van ride up and back was made more enjoyable with his tidbits of information and humor. And lastly, it was nice being picked up at our location instead of having to drive to a meeting point.

Operator told me when I called at pickup site to check on arrival time that it was canceled. Claimed text sent night before but I never received one and the app still had a ticket for me with no cancellation or message.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I truly understand how disappointing it is to arrive at the pickup point and learn that the tour could not operate, and I’m very sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
For your tour date, we sent a text message to the cellphone number provided in your reservation the evening before. In that message, we explained the severe weather forecast and the road conditions reported by the National Park. Mount Rainier was experiencing heavy snow, storm activity, and unsafe driving conditions, and several key areas of the park were closed. For the safety of our guests, in the message we offered you the alternative date, tour or cancel the tour with full refund but, unfortunately, we hadn't receive any responses from you.
Additionally, you were the only confirmed reservation for that departure, which also made it impossible for us to operate the tour that day. We understand that the Viator app did not update on your end, and we apologize for any confusion this caused.
Your experience matters to us, and we are always working to improve our communication so situations like this are clearer and smoother for our guests. If you ever return to Seattle, we would be honored to welcome you on a future tour under better weather conditions.
