We did the 10-hour Mount Rainier tour and had such a great time. Even though the weather didn’t really cooperate, Ken made the day amazing. He was funny, knowledgeable, and kept us engaged the whole time. He always had a backup plan when the views weren’t clear, so we still got to experience a lot and never felt like we missed out.
Ken really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. You can tell he loves what he does, and it made the long day fly by. I’d definitely recommend this tour, and if you get Ken as your guide, you’re in good hands.

Fantastic day trip! John was a great guide and was able to get us to a bunch of great spots despite how busy 4th of July was at the park. The views were great and we were given plenty of opportunities to get food and go the restroom.

Unbelievable views, we were lucky we got to see Mt. Rainier briefly. Unable to see the whole tour but the view we got was stunning. Despite bad weather, the scenery was amazing. Long day, but so worth it.

As Dubai residents visiting Seattle, we really missed being close to nature, and Mount Rainier tour was the perfect choice. The mountain and surrounding national park were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this experience. Gary, our guide, was awesome. If every tour had guides like Gary, I would book again without hesitation.

This was a very well-curated excursion! We saw many of the best parts of the park, and had time to explore a bit. Mark was an awesome guide!

Mt. Rainer is an amazing park to visit, our Tour Guide DJ was very informative and ensured we managed to see many amazing locations in the park. If I have 1 issue it is with the time in the Tour Bus, the description said 1:45 minutes each way, it was more like 3 hours each way.
Leslie_T, Jun 2026
Andre was very informative and kept us on track. He gave us guided tours and let us have free time. This was a great outing and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Great trip! Wear hiking shoes and warm coat and be prepared for rain too. Bring a few snacks and a little bit of cash to buy cherries at Elbe stand. Gary our tour guide was great!
Joleen_C, Jun 2026

Mark did a great job on our tour! We learned so much and saw so many beautiful sites! He really did an amazing job. There were many photo opportunities and he even took photos of us.
Sahana_B, Jun 2026
Mount Rainier is already beautiful and dangerous. The national park is a treasure of rare and extremely tall trees, that gave me chills. I felt like I was in the movie set of Jurassic Park. Our guide Andreas was very friendly. The bus was comfortable with unlimited drinking water supply - probably the most important resource for any hiking trip. I would be more than happy to book another park tour with this company.

We had a wonderful experience on the Mt. Rainier Day Tour with Northwest Tour! The itinerary was well-paced with stunning stops throughout the park. Our guide, Mark, was incredibly informative—he shared fascinating facts about the area’s geology, culture, and history that really enriched the trip. He also went above and beyond by taking us to a few beautiful spots that weren’t even on the itinerary, which made the experience feel extra special. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the whole day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Seattle!

Shelly_C, May 2026
We loved the tour. Our guide was informative without talking too much, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Mt Ranier. We stopped at a grocery store to grab items for lunch then proceeded to the park. We stopped at all the important sights, and were allowed enough time to enjoy each stop. We highly recommend the tour to anyone.
Kathryn_O, May 2026
Andreas was great. He was very knowledgeable and you can tell his passion for Mt rainier on both a personal and professional level. We were very lucky to have him as our tour guide for the day! Even got to see a bear :)
Tanya_G, May 2026
We really enjoyed our experience on this tour. I was not prepared for how cold it was on the mountain so bring more than you think you’ll need. Andres was truly a great guide, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He offered to take photos, and even suggested different poses. He even joined us on one of the trails and explained different things along the way. I highly recommend this tour.
Sadie_G, May 2026
10/10 expirence. Our guide, Andres was knowledgeable and funny. He was also a very safe driver too. Took us to some great spots including Paradise, Tarrada Falls, Longmire, etc.
Nathan_P, May 2026
Erica was our tour guide. She did a great job of sharing the right amount of information. Some tour guides way over talk and she had it down of what was good to share.
Larry_S, May 2026
Dress appropriately, and just know the weather may not cooperate. But overall this was a great tour.
Linda_J, May 2026
This is an extensive all day tour. John the tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable of all kinds of information concerning Seattle, the area going to Mt. Rainier, and the mountain itself. My only challenge is that it was a long day.
Ryan_E, May 2026
We had a great time. The bus was comfortable, our guide was knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend this tour.
