This Mt. Rainier day trip begins with a pickup from select hotels in Seattle. Then prepare for a narrated, scenic drive.
Stops can vary depending on then weather and conditions, but can include Longmire, the visitor center at the southwest corner of the park, to explore their museum and National Park Inn. Visit Christine Falls, with one of the signature views in Mt Rainier National Park (look for the bridge). Then walk along the Nisqually River up to Narada Falls, considered the most popular waterfall in Mt Rainier State Park.
Then it’s off to the pinnacle event of the day: the view at Paradise, which is 5,400 feet (1,646 meters) above sea level. Purchase lunch here and take in the incredible view of Mt. Rainier and the valley below. Be on the lookout for wildlife.
During the wintertime, an optional snowshoe adventure is possible, if conditions allow. During the summertime, simply enjoy the scene at Reflection Lakes, which provides one of the most iconic views of Mt. Rainier.
Then it’s back down the mountain to Seattle.

Customers will have an opportunity to purchase food en route. I highly recommend Customized Tours & Charters! Lucas was the absolute best tour guide. I would not have been able to fully appreciate this experience without him. He made you understand the beauty and rarity of Mount Rainier. He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Made sure we could see the best views. Awesome having a local guy as your tour guide! Will definitely rebook for Olympic National Park instead if I have the chance to visit Washington again.

Had an amazing time! Lucus was a fantastic tour guide. Showed us spots we would have never found on our own and learned so much from him about the history of Mt Rainier. Would totally recommend this tour and tour guide!
Had the most wonderful day on this tour. It will surely exceed your expectations. Lucky for us we were so spoiled with the views and weather and especially with our tour guide Lucas. He was kind, personable, patient, funny, attentive, safe, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and the area. I would highly recommend this tour, it was worth every penny and time spent!
Our guide was James who was extremely knowledgeable and kept us all very entertained. James helped us to maximize our time at Mt Rainier. I highly recommend James. The only thing I would have changed is to have one meeting point for everyone on the tour. We spent almost an hour in the morning and another hour after the tour picking up or dropping off people at the various meeting points. It is a long day especially when spending so much time going to the many meeting points.

This was such a great trip. The park has lots of beautiful trails with amazing views of the mountains. We were also fortunate to see black bears from a safe distances. Our tour guide James was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the park and trails. Plus he also made sure to make stops so we can take pictures.

I booked this last minute bc I found myself in Seattle for work and a couple open days before. To note, I’m a fairly fit person and enjoy hiking, though wouldn’t say I’m super experienced at all, and I did almost zero research on hikes in Seattle prior. So booked this tour to see all the highlights - my tour group was mostly older couples and we made several stops for just photos… but when we got to Paradise, we had different options of what we’d like to do. Lucas was super informative and gave us lots of history and facts along the way there. While stops were mostly short walks and photos, most stops are connected to nice hikes (for a next trip). When we got to Paradise, we only had about 2.5 hours there and Lucas let me know to do the skyline trail counterclockwise and take the EXTREMELY scenic Golden agate trail to shave off a mile. I made it back with 10 minutes to spare. This was such a nice intro to Mt Rainier and I would definitely come back on my own as it has really made me fall in love with PNW!! Hats off to Lucas for being so accommodating and CLEAR with instructions especially as a solo female hiker with little experience. I made it through the loop and everything was clearly marked. Highly recommend if you are short on time and want to see the major stops.

Extremely happy I booked this experience, I was unsure if I was going to be going to Seattle solo or with a friend so I was stuck between renting a car and attempting to explore on my own or booking an experience like this one. I am soooo glad I booked the experience. Even though I had a friend join me, I know would have had a positive experience solo. The tour guide was super friendly and showed us so many beautiful spots. We even got to hug a super giant tree. So many picture perfect photos.

The tour guide is well experienced. While the weather in the mountain varies during a day, he brings guests to each view spot depending on the whether. In our case, it was rainy and could not see anything in the morning, but the guide cycled back to a few view point and showed us different scenes

Kevin was a really fun guide, and stopped at many places along the way to chase views of the Mountain.We saw waterfalls and giant Douglas firs.A+ tour.If you have trouble with motion sickness make sure to take something because the mountain roads are very crooked.

Cory was a great leader. Be on time. Our group was very respectful and a mix of all ages. Our weather was rainy but we still continue with our tour. And to be honest even with rain it did not disappoint. Still hike, got good sceneries, saw some wild animals, and waterfalls. It was worth the price and the time.

This is a good way to see the highlights of Mt Rainier with a guide who knows where to take you. Lucas was great, very knowledgeable and seems like he really loves what he does. I would like to come back with more time to explore more of the different trails but me being limited on time this trip was a perfect. Plus they do all the driving while you can relax and enjoy the views

My sister and I had the best day on this tour. Despite the not so great weather we had that day, we saw some amazing locations around the park and the rain didn’t dampen our fun. Our guide Lucas was full of excellent knowledge about the park, and made sure we had a great time.
Only suggestion - let people know beforehand there will be a supermarket stop at the start of the day! Would have saved us going on an early morning snack run before our pick up ☺️
