Our guide David was wonderful. As a Savannah local, he is well-versed in Savannah's byways, history and culture. He is also a gifted storyteller, and we learned so much from him as we walked the city. We were engrossed in his commentary during the two-hour tour. Our only regret is we wished for more time, so we could learn more about the city's history - e.g. it's ethnic populations, its siege during the Civil War, and its various religions.

Earbuds were provided so we didn't have to strain to hear the guide speaking. Our guide was a 9th-generation Savannah native and had so much enthusiasm about his home. He included his rich ethnic familial background with us, threading stories of his ancestors while his own wife and five kiddos drove by and waved, yelling "hi daddy!" for added entertainment. Hearing about the leaders, the conflicts and the planning of each square was interesting. Great information and history lesson!

First, a practical comment. This tour ensures everyone can hear the guide by providing audio headsetsets. Big differentiator. With approximately 20 on the tour, everyone could hear the guide.
Our guide was knowledgeable and open to questions. She explained to us the route that we'd take at the beginning so that we had a feel for where we'd be walking. And at what pace.
My husband and I have different opinions on the amount of time spent on the movies filmed in Savannah. (Primarily Forrest Gump and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.) He thought a little bit too much time was spent on this topic and I thought it was about right and really added to the tour. He wanted more city and real estate history.
Overall, a great tour that was well worth the money and the time.

TC was a great host-and has a lot of history information-you will walk alot may have water handy for older and younger folks on warm days. The tour made me want to readmore of the history of Savannah.

It was well-researched, and a first for me, professionally illustrated by photos on a tablet. The speaker and listening devices were helpful, but changing to reusable over the ear headpieces would be less painful for people like me with tiny ear canals and hearing aid users. The tour was to be 90 minutes, but lasted over 2 hours, which is generous but brings its own discomforts.
