After meeting at the parking lot in the far back, our guide (Cool guy with great white hair and tattoos) drove us around the cemetery telling us great stories about the history of the graves, styles of markers and overall history of the cemetery and Savannah. Would recommend to anyone wanting a tour of the cemetery in the comforts of a golf cart.

My husband and I took this tour first thing in the morning on a cloudy, cool day. The cemetery is beautiful with the live oaks and palms draping over all the graves. Our guide Erin, was personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She did talk very fast. In my personal experience tour guides usually wear identifying shirts or jackets instead of just a random hat and flannel shirt, which didn’t seem very professional. Also make sure you watch or read Midnight In The Garden of Good And Evil before the tour because there are a lot of references to it along the way.

Great tour! Attended with my spouse and my mom. The guide, whose name I'm forgetting right now but is definitely from Oxford, IL originally (hope that helps ID!), was excellent and personable. They provided a wonderful overview tour, answered everyone's questions, and shared a few extra intriguing tidbits of info throughout. My husband and I would have been fine with a walking tour but honestly the extra breeze while the golf cart was moving was really pleasant.
It rained the day we originally scheduled the tour, but via Viator, the host refunded our money and helped us reschedule the tour for later in the week.

6 seat golf cart we got the back seats that face backwards. The guide would share pictures and point at things that we didn't see. She also didn't pull up far enough for us to see the grave until she was driving past. Very interesting but don't get the back seats.
