This was an awesome tour. Our driver was fantastic and we got so much history about the cemetery and those buried there. Although it is a cemetery the setting is beautiful with all the oak trees and moss. This was something we had not heard of anyone doing before but so glad we had the experience. it was our favorite thing we did on our weekend in Savannah.

It was wonderful taking a golf cart tour through the cemetery. We got to rest our feet, be in a covered golf cart, and see more of the cemetery than we would have. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot during the tour! He stopped so we could take pictures. It was wonderful!

We learned so much about the cemetery having little prior knowledge but the beauty is incredible and unmatched. Our tour guide was amazing and answered any questions that were asked by anyone on the tour. Without dropping spoilers here we learned details about the famous individuals buried in the cemetery and some of the interesting tombstones and the symbolism associated with their design. I highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful, fascinating, and just the right amount of spooky! Riding through Bonaventure Cemetery on the shaded golf cart was a wonderful way to see so much of the cemetery during our 60 minute tour. Our guide shared the history, legends, and unique symbolism with great storytelling, and the majestic live oaks draped in Spanish moss made the experience unforgettable. It was one of the top highlights while visiting the Savannah area and highly recommended.

Could have spent the day there and still not see enough

It was a wonderful experience for all of us. We had a private tour because there were five of us and our guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. It took about an hour in the golf cart for us to tour the more famous graves and we could have spent hours more walking and wandering around the area but the heat was exhausting.

There is an incredible amount of history tp be shared about the people and tombstones in the cemetery. Harry offered an encyclopedia full of facts, rumors and tales throughout our visit. We could have spent another hour with him and not heard the same stories twice. The visit was our families favorite out of all our tourist stops. Thank you!

It was my husband and I first time in Savannah and we decided to take this tour! Since we were short on time, we booked the one-hour golf cart tour of Bonaventure Cemetery. Our guide, Harry, was fantastic—friendly, funny, and knowledgable He answered all our questions on the spot and any time we pointed out a random headstone he knew the unique history behind it. He made our time in the cemetery incredibly fun. While I’m sure all the guides are great, if you book a tour here, do yourself a favor and ask for Harry!

Bailey was a fantastic guide through Bonaventure! I really enjoyed her approach to the tour: enthusiastic, informative, and respectful. I had visited the cemetery before with a friend, but due to the large size and overwhelming amount of history there, having a guide is by far the way to go!

Tour met Expectations. Not ideal meeting point. Operator operates out of a remote parking lot at the far end of the cemetary. Took multiple text messages to sort through logistics and in the end operator took us on an excursion to pick up another group at secondary meeting point. My wife enjoys graveyard tours. Tour narrator was above average.

We took this tour because my husband was having trouble with his back and wouldn’t have been able to walk much in the cemetery. It far exceeded our expectations and was well worth the money. Our tour guide Erin had a wealth of knowledge about the cemetery, as well Savannah. She was also very funny! Bonus: We were in Savannah during a major heat wave and riding in a golf cart as opposed to walking was the bomb!
