What are people saying about Savannah

Great option when pressed for time
We only had a few hours to spend in Savannah, so this compact tour of seeing the highlights and giving us a feel for the town was perfect. Everything was so easy from having a bathroom on site while you wait for your tour to begin, simple, electronic check-in, to boarding the bus. We had a great driver - Butch.

Great Energy
This was our first trip to Savannah and we were not disappointed! Our guides were the Dani twins and they brought the energy from the very beginning of the tour. You're lucky if you get Danny and Dani! I brought my 16 and 18 y/o daughters and they laughed out loud.

Highly recommend the tour with Tim
The cemetary itself is fascinating. We didn't really know what to expect but the wild grounds and the elegant tombs and trees draped with spanish moss created exactly the mood and ambiance we were hoping to find. But the best part was really the tour guide Tim, who is a local, and has a ton of personal experiences and anecdotes about the cemetary and Savannah itself.

Great way to see Savannah!
We enjoyed our tour very much. We stayed on the trolley and did the whole tour before we decided where we would want to get off. We ended up with four different drivers throughout the day as we hopped on and hopped off. Each of them had their own way of storytelling. Some were very entertaining and we enjoyed that. Big Rob and another guy (who I didn’t get his name, had a very southern accent ant told great stories between facts) were our favorites of the day.

Great trip for a first-timer, just wished we had more time to free-roam.
This is a great choice if you have never been to Tybee island, going solo without a car. At 11:30, the trolley took us straight to the island, and Brenda the driver gave us many local history facts along the way. The first stop was the dolphin cruise, which was amazing! We actually got to see the dolphins swimming and having a great time. The Crab Shack was so-so, and herein lies my only criticism of this experience. They gave us 1 hour and a half there for lunch, and I would rather spend at least 30 minutes of that doing other things. When we got to the beach/light house, we only had 1 hour left to free roam, which means you can either do the light house tour or the beach, but not both. The light house was not an option for us on that day because of the lightning; still we could only spend 30 minutes at the beach because we had to be back by 4:30. It wouldn't hurt if we had an extra hour there, because we would still be able to make it back to Savannah by 6.

Excellent guide & tour
Pierce was an exceptional docent! He was a native Savannahian and he knew the history of the town and the squares very well! Easy to listen to, found us all shade when he stopped to elaborate and very good with answering questions. Would recommend a Viator tour any day! And if you get Pierce you are extra lucky!

Savannah sightseeing Tour
Steve was a wonderful tour guide! He gave historical accounts at all sights. The tour covered 9 different areas many including the squares and their history. My two teenage grand daughters really enjoyed the tour. I would give Steve 10 stars if I could. We learned SO much about Savannah!

Not The Cheesy Ghost Tour
Ray was an awesome tour guide! It was not what I was expecting, in a good way! He had lots of fascinating stories about Savannah's darker side. Real history with just the right amount of unexplained sprinkled in to make your mind wander. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone interested the chilling aspects or just looking for an entertaining walking tour!

Savannah trolley tour and the riverboat cruise
We had a wonderful experience with the Savannah sightseeing trolley tour and riverboat cruise. Our travel host, Captain Phil, was outstanding. During the 90-minute trolley tour through Savannah’s historic streets, he shared a wealth of interesting information mixed with just the right amount of humor. He frequently asked if anyone had questions and was happy to take the time to answer them, making sure everyone had an enjoyable experience.
We took the trolley tour in the morning, which was a great choice because the temperatures were more comfortable and there was a nice breeze.
The riverboat cruise was also very enjoyable, even though it was quite hot outside. We learned even more about Savannah’s history, including the important role the river played in the city’s cotton industry and the stories of many of the people who lived and worked there. There were plenty of fascinating historical details throughout the narration. Two members of our family chose to relax in the air-conditioned enclosed section, while I spent some time on the upper deck enjoying the views despite the heat.
Overall, it was a great time and an excellent way to experience Savannah’s history and beautiful waterfront being that we were only there for the day. We would definitely recommend both the trolley tour and the riverboat cruise.

Easy, fun tour!
This was a very worthwhile tour. The tour bus picked us up right by our VRBO which was very convenient. We had an appropriate amount of time at both venues, learned some very interesting tidbits about history, saw some of the most famous graves at Bonaventure, and got great photos down the roadway of live oaks at Wormsloe. Lunch at the Driftaway Cafe was very enjoyable, and the final stop at Byrd's Cookies was fun and delicious. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to visit both Bonaventure and Wormsloe.
