Miss Pat should ne designated as a national treasure. She has so much information to share and does so in a wonderful enjoyable way. She left us with yearning to spend weeks with her to learn more! This is a must to experience for adults and children. I'd highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I enjoyed this tour with Sista Pat. This tour Host was one if the most interesting host we have had on our vacation.
Great opportunity to learn more history. Love a museum but hearing Sister Pat’s stories & truth telling was powerful.
It was good. I was probably mistaken when booking it; thought it’d be more of a walking tour to get onto the sites and houses.
It’s great for people who just want to sit on a bus and listen to someone else narrate history. The lady also spent a lot of time talking about her family history
Ms Pat was an awesome and engaging tour guide. She kept you engaged. I hate I booked at the last minute because I did not get the personalized message.
Educational of the slaves history of Savannah l. Awesome storyteller about the slavery in Savannah. The storyteller was great and informative.

This is one of the most informative tours that I have experienced pertaining to the history of my African American ancestors. Our tour guide took us back us in time and strategically brought us back to the presence. It was like reading a suspense novel and not being able to put it down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! I took my four kids aged 7-15. My 7 year old was exhausted and fell asleep on the bus but that was from a week of playing hard at the beach. My other kids stayed engaged and said they all liked it. They loved Pat’s info and demeanor and how she taught with her stories and truth telling! We accidentally got on the wrong tour bus at first and this company was super helpful and came and sent a shuttle to get us to the rest of the group! Then at the end we had to leave a bit early and Pat was very gracious about that too. It was a touch longer for kids but good info so kept everybody engaged. Thank you!

Mrs Patt was very knowledgeable and informative. She even invited us to sing along and some call and response on a small portion of the tour which got us all involved too. I love what she’s done for this city and region which makes her so informative. She painted a picture during the tour where you could see what she described. Great tour!

It was ok we thought we were going to see an actual plantation with slave quarters this was a lot of talking we really didn’t see a lot . For the money I don’t think it was worth it

The Tour is 3 hrs long. Please bring snacks and water. The tour van was hot. Air wasn’t actually working. The guide was very knowledgeable, but we don’t get to actually go in anywhere. We actually let the tour early.

This was an outstanding tour. Sister Pat was very informative and shared so much African history. We learned so much and really enjoyed it. She is very passionate about her history and it shows. (The bus was a bit warm but I'm glad it had some air conditioning as it was very hot that day).

The tour itself was excellent, and our tour guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. Their storytelling and enthusiasm kept us interested throughout the experience and were the main reason we stayed until the end.
Unfortunately, the condition of the bus significantly impacted our overall experience. The air conditioning was not adequate, and we were crammed into a bus with very little air circulation. In 90+ degree weather, the outside temperature actually felt more comfortable than being inside the bus. The heat became so unbearable that we seriously considered leaving the tour early.
Kelly Tours has an outstanding tour guide, but they need to ensure their buses are properly air-conditioned and comfortable for guests, especially during the summer months. Addressing this issue would make an otherwise exceptional tour a much more enjoyable experience.

If you want to do any bus tours it should be this one. Miss Pat is very knowledgeable and passionate about her history and not just doing it because it’s her job.

Amazing tour. Lots of history and knowledge. Compassion and understanding. I have no clue how she keeps it all in her head but she knew so much about Savannah's history. I fought tears a few times hearing about our history but I am so glad to hear it from this wonderful truth teller. I would suggest to anyone to do the tour and embrace the knowledge with care and an open mind.

My husband & I enjoyed Sista Pat's Freedom Tour! It was very informative, well-researched and the bus ride was an added bonus! My husband loves history & Sista Pat did a fantastic job presenting. She taught him some things he didn't know.
We also enjoyed learning things about Savannah that clearly weren't taught in our history books! Sista Pat is a wealth of knowledge & it was on full display at the Tour. We loved the cemetery stop and how she explained the 10 squares in downtown Savannah. My husband & I loved how she pointed out where the slave auction occurred, not to mention the church, insurance for the slaves & shipbuilding were financed! If we are able to return to Savannah, we will definitely go on another tour with Sista Pat!
