Dawn was so knowledgeable and gave meaning to the symbols and rites to the burial plots. As someone who is hard of hearing, I appreciated her projecting voice. She clearly loves Savannah and is a fantastic story oracle. What a benefit she is to Bonadventure Cemetary

Fantastic experience. Loved hearing some of the history and meaning behind things you would have ever known if we had walked it by ourselves. Our guide was perfect with the amount of stories, facts and fun. The walk wasn’t bad at all, very slow pace but, still covered a lot of ground. Would highly recommend this for anyone.

Chris was good but it didn't feel like his heart was in this tour. We started 5 minutes late and ended 15 minutes early.

Our tour guide was Dawn Martin and she was great. A Savannah native with local perspective. She had a loud voice, which was great because it was easy to hear her even in a larger group without headsets. She was obviously very passionate about the cemetery and the history and I learned so much about the area, the cemetery, and the symbolism of the different things on grave monuments. A very interesting and engaging tour. Definitely recommend!
