Meet up with your small group, limited to just 14 people, and allow your guide to introduce you to haunted San Diego.
Travel by bus and on foot, arriving at your first of five eerie locations. Immerse yourself in the history that has earned San Diego its reputation as one of the most haunted cities in the west.
As you continue moving to various locations, enjoy hearing stories, jokes, and commentary from your guide. Walk through each destination and learn about infamous residents of the city.
Return back to your starting point after both getting your steps in and getting spooked during the experience.

- 8 person minimum!! Beware especially in winter. Our Haunted Guided Tour are smaller than our competitors. Plus you actually enter mutliple locations on our tours! As such we require at least 8 people/ghost hunter in our to run. If for some reason it looks like the tour will not go (this is rare but does occasionally happen), we will personally call you with a tour update 2-3 hours before your tour is set to go. If your tour does not go, again very rare, we will refund you or move you to another date. Feel free to call or email us with any questions or if you just want an update on how many have signed up so far. If we don't pick up immediately we will get back to you shortly.
- We meet you at the south corner of Conde Street & San Diego Ave, 2425 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110. 15 minutes before tour time please.
- Please make sure to use the bathroom before your tour. You will be going to historic locations which have no bathroom access, and your party definitely should use the bathroom before joining us. Bathrooms can be found in the neighboring restaurants and businesses. There is a public restroom at the back of Cafe Coyote a block away. Just walk to the very back of their plaza.
- If you are driving, please show up early to get parking.
- Service animals are allowed provided they are small, can be carried in their crate and do not disturb the other attendees. If you have a larger animal like a German Sheppard you would need to purchase an additional seat,potentially crate the animal and will not be able to enter some of the locations as there are antique and very valuable, fragile historic artifacts in them.
- Due to our bus size and the older nature of our locations we are not wheel chair accessible. If you have a member with ambulatory challenges, please call us to go over it.
- Children under 10 are not recommended. If you have a child under 10, please call us to make sure this is a good fit.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers

I took my 15 and 10 year old and it was the perfect amount of scary and historical for us! My 10-year-old loved Cowboy Pete. It was a fantastic haunted tour!

The tour was so fun, and the guide was great at what he does. The only complaint we had was it was SO hot. The bus did not have AC and everyone was sweating.

Great time on this tour, the guide was awesome.This was more a of historical tour than a haunted one. The historical buildings we visited were hella cool. One of our visits did spoke me and my daughter, we just a ghostly feeling as soon as walked in. Again, great historic and ghostly time!

We drove to the meeting point for 30 min, paid for parking only to find out that this tour was cancelled. And I did not get any notifications in this regard. I gave one star because the customer support was good. The person picked up the phone right away and explained about cancellation.

Full Disclouse Respones: We had a host cancel due to a contagious sickness. Their Dr said they would get people sick if they toured.
You were sent emails and texts about the cancel hours before tour time. You were also given options in those emails.
I just bummed to see you hurt us because we did our due diligence to reach out with the information you gave us. It is not our fault that you can not be bother to check your phone or email every so often or perhaps you put in the wrong number - I have to go off the contact information that is sent to us.
The other people whom were affected got the no go messages and did not show up. We were able to transfer some to other tours.
I don't think you can give less then 1 star last check.
Your review is interesting though as it bring up other issues -- You know it is a tricky thing because your booking platform encourages us to tour with sick hosts. They want their 30-50% cut of each ticket price (every wonder why ticket prices are so high it is paying them). They punish us if we cancel with a sick host.
I mention this because maybe I should have just had them go they were coughing etc but could have done it, even wanted to. But I said no. I should have just had them go and taken the risk with the customers, that partially the feedback I am getting here - then your not getting message would not have mattered.
If anyone wants to let me know their thoughts on if we should tour with sick host just reach out. I am talking with other local companies to try to make a choice. Maybe we should it would make our lives easier, we would not get punished by the massive booking systems and something like this would not happen. On the other side our customer might get sick. It is a tough call. Your voice and vote counts.
I'm really sorry that we could not reach you about the cancel and I hate that you showed up and we were not there for you. I can understand why you want to destroy us but we did try in multiple ways to reach out.

Hi Bob — sorry to miss you, and you are correct. Unlike our competitors, we actually take you inside historic locations, but the catch is that we have to pay to go inside. Because of that, we have a minimum.
This is something we’ve wrestled with from the beginning. We could remove the minimum and only visit free exterior locations like our competitors, but most guests tell us the highlight of the tour is the exclusive inide access — so we’ve chosen to take people inside and suffer the minimum costs.
Going inside and the minimum is what make our tour different. A blessing and a curse.
Viator and it friends does include the minimum information in the “Things to Know” section they send, and we are very transparent. But you do have to read what is sent. Please people read what we send it it need to know info please. Normally I send a message around 2 or 3 PM if I’m worried about hitting the minimum. If you didn’t receive one, I am sorry. occasionally I’m somewhere I can’t send it in time, and I truly apologize.
Honestly, you may prefer one of the national tour chains that have been taking over San Diego (and every other major city). We’re actually the only local ghost tour left in Old Town and Downtown, surrounded by five national operators. Some of them don’t have minimums, but you should know that the trade-off you'll be outside - it’s all exterior stops, no exclusive access, and no real connection to the community.
I wish we could have hosted you properly really sorry to miss you and you have indeed hurt us over it. Hopefully that makes you feel better. :)
If anyone reading this wants to reach out and make an argument for getting rid of inside access to remove the miminum please do - I am almost on Bob's side on it.

Overall our experience was good. Cowboy Pete did an excellent job of narrating each location and given specifics that really enlighten the tour. He also did a great job on giving us direction on where and what we could do or use at locations. And was very observant of where all the members of the party was, and making sure everybody knew of any obstacles that were coming up or needed to be addressed. We will definitely recommend the tour to family and friends!!

Amazing tour and well worth the trip. They work with locals in San Diego and you're able to go inside to some of the museums/homes/hotels. I really liked Dante's story telling and the way he captured the hauntings of the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who dares to adventure in the haunted parts of San Diego.

This was a fun tour with beautiful homes and places to visit. As far as accessibility, there is very little walking but a lot of standing, which is really hard for me. I think if I'd had a rollator it would have been much easier for me. But I did out and Josephine was great, with jokes so bad they were good and Mike, our driver, was so kind and great. Quiet but ready to assist in any way he could and dropping a good line a few times. I highly recommend this but be ready to stand.

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience! I’ve done a few ghost tours around Old Town before, but this one stood out—it felt much more personal and authentic. Our guide, Archie, made it clear that this wasn’t about cheap scares or theatrics, but about the real, historically accurate side of Haunted San Diego.
We even got a private mini tour of the stunning Villa Montezuma led by its keeper, Louise—such a beautiful home with an incredible history. Later, we explored another haunted house exclusively with EMF readers, which made the experience even more immersive.
My friends and I had an amazing time, and I’d 100% book another tour in the future!
