This is something I would definitely recommend at the beginning of your trip to San Diego! You get little snipets of Balboa park on this adventure, but this was something we booked on our last day there. There is sooo much to see and explore in Balboa park. We will be making a trip back to San Diego and I already know what is on the itinerary… museums, art, good eats, etc. the guided tour was really cool and the tour guide was amazing and super knowledgeable about the area! Definitely a highlight of the trip regardless of it being our last day there!!!

It was wonderful! I was nervous about the scooter, but it was easy and the guide adjusted to my comfort level. Saw a lot of things in a shorter amount of time than walking.

Had a great tour of balboa park with Jesse. He was a knowledgeable tour guide and allowed several opportunities to stop for walking the different areas of the park and take pictures. It’s a great way to learn your way around. It ended up being just my husband and me in the tour, so it allowed for a more personalized experience.

We had great communication guiding us to the meeting point. My wife was nervous about operating the scooters but after a quick lesson and a few minutes of practice she was off to the races. I enjoyed the quick pace between points of interest. With just enough time to take pictures and a quick look around and we were off to the next cool hing to see. Jesse provided excellent historical insights at each stop. We were deciding between the zoo and something different and both my wife and I agreed that this was the perfect excursion for us. Go for it. We think you’ll have a great time!

I did this with my 12 yr old granddaughter. This was great, the electric scooters were easy to use and fun. Anyone concerned about riding the scooter should not be they are easy to use and steadier then you might think. Jesse was a great guide with a lot of information to share. Only negative was it was too short we wanted to keep going, after the tour all I kept hearing was we should do electric scooters again!

The scooters were a lot of fun. We got a few practice rounds at the beginning of the tour and that helped. By the end we were cruising like pros. My teenagers really enjoyed it. The cactus garden was a hit.

The tour is right to the point. If you like to do more than 20 min per site then this tour is not for you. It worked great for us! Jesse is friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Balboa park. We were able to see the whole park in 90 min.

The Balboa scooter tour is a great way to get familiar with what the park has to offer. Our tour guide (owner/operator) Jesse, was awesome, very warm/friendly and knowledgeable about the the park and its history. The tour was actually easy to find, despite my concern. Getting reminder text message with exact map location was very helpful. Our Uber dropped us off and we just had to walk across a small patch of grass to find our guide. Jesse was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure we were very comfortable on the scooters and was very encouraging. The tour was interesting and we covered a lot of ground - with a few stops to explore for a few minutes. Just overall a great experience and escape which would not have been possible on foot.

One of the best tours and tour guides! He takes a lot of photos for your group which is a bonus! Directions to the starting location is simple and without any experience on an electric scooter, he gave a quick practice run!
