I had a tour with Canny today, it ended up being a private tour. I’ve been to Rome before and had seen many of the must see sites already. I told him I wanted to see the views from the hills, and he delivered! Beautiful views Aventine Hill, Pincio terrace, Orange Garden and many more places that I hadn’t thought to see. It was a wonderful tour!

Augusto Cursi was an excellent driver and tour guide. Augusto had historical and local information that was very insightful. There.was an elderly lady that Augusto assisted during the trip.

My 11 year old son and I had an amazing afternoon with our guide, Pietro. He had so much insight into Roman history, but also the current neighborhoods and tucked away gems.
It was so much fun and we learned a lot in a short time. My son loved zipping around the little streets and I appreciated getting a glimpse into the different neighborhoods.
It was the highlight of our trip! I think it would be great for ages 7+. Highly recommend.

The tour was not at promised. The guide did not take us to many places in the itinerary - the guide said it was impossible to do these places in the limited time period. Also practically it was impossible since there were lines in many places. He took us to other places where we did not really want to go since those we could easily do walking except Circus Maximus and a lovely fountain from where we could see the city of Tome. There was another family with us and when we compared our itinerary with theirs it was totally different. This is a really expensive tour and honestly we felt cheated. The guide said that he follows instructions of the tour operator. So the tour operator put 2 sets of people with different tour itineraries on the same golf cart. Because we appeared upset the guide did not bother to really explain to us but kept talking to the other family. The tour company called my phone to speak to the guide but the guide refused to speak to them. The only pleasant thing about the tour was the family who was with us on the tour, they were really lovely. We have been totally cheated by the tour company and Viator.

In Rome, many central areas are subject to access limitations and unpredictable queues, which may make certain stops impractical within the available time.
Our tours may occasionally include multiple bookings in the same vehicle, which is standard for shared tours. When this occurs, guides follow a route that allows all participants to experience the main highlights of the city within the tour duration.
We strongly reject the accusation that guests were “cheated.” The service was delivered according to the operational conditions stated in the booking description. The guide’s role is to conduct the route according to those conditions and city logistics.

Depends highly on your guide. I had high hopes but enjoyed the hop-on, hop-off bus better for area covered and information shared but liked that the golf cart could access smaller streets than a bus.

Fabrizio was our guide on this tour and he was spectacular! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city of Rome and all of the sights. This tour was one of the highlights of our Roman vacation, in large part to Fabrizio! The tour itself was wonderful - you are taken to many of the popular locations in Rome and given time to take photos. The most enjoyable part was riding in the golf cart through the streets of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour!

They shared fascinating facts, local stories, and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. Their passion for the area was contagious, and they made sure we felt comfortable and engaged throughout the ride.
It felt more like spending time with a friend who happened to know everything about the place than just a typical tour. We laughed, we learned, and we came away with a much deeper appreciation for the area.

Horrible company, They did not show up at 1 oclock booking, then the guy said the driver got into accident, Then they refuse to give us money back, They made us wait in heat for 3.5 hours, the new driver came, rushed the tour, he was only faciliating the two italian speaking ladies, he skipped so many stops! Please dont book them

We also wish to clarify that the tour was conducted in both English and Italian, and all guests were addressed fairly. The itinerary was slightly adjusted due to the delay, but still included key highlights of Rome.

A golf cart tour is the way to get an orientation to Rome, and Daniel is an informative and entertaining guide and an excellent driver. We would have liked basic information (at least a name) about some of the impressive buildings, fountains, etc. we passed which weren't the focus of the tour. Otherwise, very good!

We choose this company because of their great reviews. Our option was including pick up and drop-off.
1. Our driver, Roberto, was half hour late and when we questioned it he suggested not to worry and that the your will still be 3 hours .
2. We paid for a licensed guide but received just a chauffeur who hadn’t narrated anything and never left his driver sit while played with his cell phone. He just let us go for 15-20 min on our own to take some pictures.
3. We were never offered interruptive materials or headphones even though sitting people behind us stated they couldn’t hear him- both were included in the price.
4. Although the tour was supposed to cover 7 hills of Rome- we only made 3 stops and he said he had no more time and ended tour 30 minutes earlier instead of 49 minutes late.
5. He said he called his company but there was nothing they could offer but good bye.
We lost half a day, money, were left frustrated and leaving tomorrow without having visited places we planned, paid for and itinerary included.
We will be requesting full refund whether the operator will do the right thing or credit card return it to us.

We booked this tour for our first night in Rome and it was such a good decision as it allowed us to see all of the sights of the city and helped us decide where we wanted to spend the rest of our time while in Rome. Our tour guide was so informative and entertaining and he really helped set the stage of what Rome had to offer. If you are pressed for time and want to just hit the highlights, or (like us) want to get the lay of the land for your longer stay, this is the tour for you.

Luca gave us an amazing evening tour of Rome. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and his love of the city really showed. Even stayed for a glass of wine with us at dinner after the tour! Highly recommend!

I was disappointed in this tour. Our tour was on Saturday, September 28, 2024 (our last day in Rome). The tour was supposed to be 3 hours and include 14 stops (or passing by) per advertisement. We ended up only touring for about 1.5 hours. The driver was late picking us up. We were supposed to have been picked up at our hotel at 1pm. (We didn’t get picked up until 1:20pm or 1:30pm.) We had to pick up another couple around 2:20pm or 2:30pm. We visited 2 churches and Trevi Fountain. To make matters worse, the golf cart broke down around 4:00 pm (across the street from Saint Monica Maggiore church) before we could reach the Colosseum. This was when the driver stated that the Colosseum was going to be the last stop anyway and end of the tour. I told the driver that everyone was picked up late and we didn’t receive the stated 3 hours as advertised nor did we visit most places that was listed. I asked the driver about the other stops we were supposed to visit and he was more concerned about picking up the next group of clients for his next tour that started at 4:30pm. He said the stops listed were only suggestions. It’s false advertisement and deceptive. It was our first time visiting Rome. It was our first golf cart excursion. I guess the driver included pick up as part of the tour time. I was looking forward to visiting Piazza Campiodoglio, Palazzo Del Quirinale, Palatine Hill, Acquario Romano, Via dei Fori Imperiali, Bocca Della Verita, Celio, Case Romane del Celio, Roseto Comunale, Bucco della Serratura, and Giardino degli Aranci which were are listed for the tour.

Edwin was so knowledgeable and welcoming. When he learned that several of us had attended Jesuit college in the United States, he made a special point to stop at two Jesuit churches so that we could visit them. He had so much information about the history and background room, the three hours absolutely flew by. It was the perfect way to begin our visit to the Eternal City.
