- All guests are required to undergo airport-style security. During high season the wait may be up to 2 hours.

- Late arrivals will neither be accommodated nor refunded.
- The elevator of the Dome only takes you to the first balcony, to climb up to the main Dome you will have to use the stairs (320 steps) which require 20 extra minutes
- The St. Peter's Basilica Dome might not be accessible during bad weather conditions
- The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and Vatican Necropoli are not part of this tour
- Wear clothing that covers at least the shoulders and knees, if your clothing does not comply with the rules, you may be denied entry
- Some parts might not be accessible & are subject to unexpected closures until further notice due site’s restrictions
- What to bring: Passport or ID card (mandatory), Comfortable shoes, Weather-appropriate clothing

This tour vender was not organized. They closed down and told us to GET IN LINE NEXT TO THE WALL!! 2 hours later we were told to go to the r d of the line. We went back to the meeting place and there was a guide there who was helping out. He took our tour in a different line and said we would move quickly because we were with a guide. It took 11/2 hrs. By then it was 5 pm. We were u able to go to the top of the dome and were unable to go to the crypts

Tour does not start at advertised time. We scheduled this tour at 3 pm since we had another tour scheduled at 5 for the Sistine Chappel. Others were being sold this tour to start 1/2 hour later. Thus we only got a tour to the first balcony. Countdown not walk up the steps, no time. We had to take off from the tour just to see the inside of St. Peter’s by ourselves. Never did make it to the papal tombs….this was a waste of our time and money..

My wife and I got very lucky and we were the only ones in this tour. The guide was very nice and gave us history and facts non stop. He was great. This tour though is not a skip the line tour, you stand in line with the guide. The guide though talks the whole time so we found it to be enjoyable. The top of the dome Was very good and afterwards the guide took us into the church and walked us around somewhat quickly on what I would all a highlight tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Very memorable trip! GO EARLY! Without a skip the line ticket even with a guide, the line would have been unbearable at we not done the 7:30. Our guide gave interesting facts. I’d recommend looking things up before you go if you like history. There is so much information coming at you (which is so great for the best understanding) but had i known some things before i could have connected dots easier. Overall a must especially if you have a love for Peter! To visit where he died was emotional. To think about his declaration of Jesus to the end was just awe inspiring.

Fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, although we had to wait for security checks, it went fast due to him pointing out interesting facts. A lovely experience to get up early in Rome, walk the streets and then being captivated by this amazingly beautiful historical site. The group was 10, which is also great. Can highly recommend this. And again, the guide was very good. Thx a million!

Taking the elevator + 320 steps to get to the top of the dome was all worth it. We got to see the bird’s eye view of St. Peter’s Basilica square. The tour guide was great. She was very knowledgeable.

Great view from the top of the dome which was worth taking stairs. It was not skip-the-line entrance, and had to queue with others to get in. Thanks to early morning, waiting time was not so bad but I feel we could have arranged this whole tour by ourselves due to the tour guide not as entertaining or knowledgeable as other guides we met.

DO THE EARLY BIRD TOUR! I know the thought of waking up early during holiday in Italy sounds like a drag but this is SO worth it! A LOT less crowds! Our guide was so engaging and sweet! We are not Catholic but she gave us such an intimate & spiritual experience every step of the way! Would do it again 100%!
