My tour was changed at the last minute from the afternoon tour to the evening tour because I was the only one scheduled in the afternoon. When I got on for the evening tour, it ended up. I was the only one on for that tour. My driver Giuseppe was excellent. Unfortunately, on the evening tour I did not get to see all of the things that were listed on the tour I signed up for. We did not go to the Spanish steps or a couple of the plaza. Saint Peter Square was closed so there were some disappointments. Also many landmarks that we passed were so dark I could not take pictures. I did of course get a dinner that I wasn’t scheduled to have and it was delicious. In retrospect, I would have rather done the afternoon tour. I think I would have seen more, which was the point of my scheduling. I would recommend the tour but not the evening tour.

Just to clarify the change: we reached out beforehand to ask if you’d like to move from the afternoon to the evening departure, and so you wouldn’t miss out we included dinner and gelato complimentary.
We suggested the switch because our shared tours are usually more enjoyable with multiple guests (you meet people and the experience feels livelier).
Unfortunately, the other two participants who were booked for that slot became ill at the last minute, which left you as the only guest something outside our control.
Regarding the missed stops (e.g., the Spanish Steps and some piazzas) and St. Peter’s Square being closed, I understand the disappointment night conditions and occasional closures can affect visibility and access. Since you were solo, we could have tailored the route more around your preferences; we’re sorry if that wasn’t made clear in the moment.
We’ve reminded our team to proactively offer customized stops whenever a shared tour becomes a one-guest experience.

We were taken to every site we wanted to see. Our driver took us to some "out of the way" spots most tourists don't visit. I wanted to walk on the Appian Way, and he took us to a spot where the original stones still there. He also took us to a beautiful park in the shadow of an aqueduct. A great 4 hours with a pleasant and knowledgeable driver.

Roberto gave us an excellent tour of Rome! He was very knowledgeable about the history and facts of all the sites in the city! The tour included a wonderful dinner and great gelato for dessert! We would highly recommend.y recommend this tour to anyone with a short amount of time in Rome! It included many of the popular sites! It is definitely the way to go!

Orange garden and Vatican City were beautiful. Colosseum from outside too. Wish our guide had given us more insights or flavor. To call this a tour is a stretch.

This was a wonderful tour of Rome. Luigi took us to all of the major sights. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and made the four hours fly by. The company was very nice. They had asked us to change the day or time of our tour. We were unable to do so and they provided us with a private tour.

We had no clue when the driver was arriving and e had to track him down we called the helpline they were useless... we found the driver ourselves ... he was excellent very accommodating and polite

Hi. Our guide was extremely nice. But, he had a significant language barrier, and seemingly not a lot of knowledge. Therefore, we learned little to nothing. He was more like a nice taxi driver. No stories or much history beyond the minimal.

Rome sights by night were beautiful. Even saw a marriage proposal at the trevi fountain. Fantastic food and our tour guide/driver Alberto was excellent. Would highly recommend this trip

Amira, our tour guide, was absolutely fabulous, providing a perfect ending - a wonderful half-day tour of Rome - to our Italian vacation on our last full day in Rome. She was fully prepared, with guides, photo albums, maps of the numerous sites of the tour. Her encyclopedic knowledge extended her explanations as well with humor, including her inside jokes on a Roman massage & mosquitos. An ESSENTIAL TOUR.

Rude tour guide. She was complaining about everything and everyone. I know it is hard to run through places in rush hour but it is important to be cordial to people. Especially a great group of 6 people.

This was a good tour, and it was as it was detailed in the description, save the fact our driver spoke little to no English. He did take us to the highlights, and he did a great job driving in crazy traffic and crowds, but he could offer little to no explanation of what we were seeing.

A 4-hour driving visit to several major tourist highlights was always going to involve compromises in terms of depth and time.
Our driver made a supreme effort to gain proximity to many sites and through narration and pictures endeavored to explain their context.
Rome driving can be harrowing for the experienced. It's good to leave the driving to professional people like our guide.
