Pseudo private driver in Rome

The initial driver got into an accident before picking us up, so they were 1.5hr late. Then they send a person that could barely speak English, did not know what was the plan that I had originally discussed to do. Dropped us off at our first location and disappeared, we couldn’t get a hold of him for 40min, also didn’t have any input when we ask what was the best route to see the highlights of Rome and make the best time of our experience. I don’t recommend this to anyone. They were horrible and a waste of our money. we were so upset at the experience that asked him to just leave us and go away.

What you described falls far below the level of service we are used to and aim to provide. After reviewing the situation internally, we decided to terminate our contract with the driver involved. If we would have been informed beforehand of course we would have done something to make up the bad experience you had. Your original driver had indeed a personal accident in the morning. He speaks perfect english and runs most of our daily disposals. We deeply regret that your visit was impacted in this way, this should have been, and always is, a memorable experience. Please know that feedback like yours is taken very seriously, and we remain committed to working hard every day to provide the best possible service to all of our guests. Once again sorry.
