This process was way more difficult and stressful than it needed to be, ranging from an indecipherable online voucher download process to incorrect instructions for meeting the representative that had our tickets. It worked out in the end, albeit after a 40 minute delay (stressful - entries are, ostensibly at least, timed) but it was not relaxing

No audio guide was provided. Had to download pop guide app. The app did not work, audio in and out, difficult to follow. Would have been better to get audio guide from castels'angelo.

Tour agent ran a little late into the 15 minute early window. Pre-tour data did not indicate need to be proficient in I-phone operations or to bring headset equipment compatible with phone. Very clumsy. Thought we would have been better buying tickets at the gate. Museum and wall panel presentations were well done and worth seeing.

Touristation process was extremely difficult. One person available under the orange umbrella and while we appreciated her efforts, the process to redeem the barcoded voucher was very clumsy. Instead of simply scanning the barcode, they have to send an email or use what’s app to then show inside the castle. So while it states that you will bypass the line, our experience was waiting 45 minutes in the heat and Sun while us and others attempted to work through the silly process. We think improvements need to be made.

The castle is a must see in Rome. Make sure you go all the way to the top of the castle because the views are spectacular! The Pantheon was also awesome!
Now for the 3 star rating- booking this experience as a tour together was a huge problem. After visiting the castle, we went to the Pantheon and they told us we had already used our tickets. After two trips between the Rome Tourstation office trying to explain our situation they finally fixed it, but at that time we had 15 minutes to see the Pantheon. Viator has been a great booking experience, but this tour booking was a fail.

The castle was very interesting and the audio tour was very informative but the staff didn’t really take the time to explain how it worked so you were left to figure it out yourself, but apart from that it was very enjoyable

Unfortunately. We entered from the wrong entrance as no one was there to tell us where to enter. The app therefore was useless. That said this site is definitely worth seeing. I think u should have a live guide who can tell you the history.

I have been to Rome a couple times and for one reason or another never had this experience. There was nothing overly exciting. However, it was worth the entrance fee and time. The views and grounds were fun to see and explore.

Don't be shy about exploring. Read all signs.

We were not told in advance that we needed an audio app. The internet was not working and. We couldn’t down load the app to use on our visit. The guide told us we could rent an audio device inside. That was a Lie and the guide didn’t care that our experience was going to be a huge disappointment

A really good experience. It starts out with the rough rocks from more than a thousand years ago. You go up this round ramp going around the building then come out to a terrace and rooms with history of the building and rooms used by the Vatican. The views from the top are spectacular.

**Don't walk to the gate, the tour host is outside by the bridge with your tickets.** This was a self guided tour with skip the line. There really wasn't a bad line for the people buying tickets on site, maybe 15 minutes. I'm sure I could have booked this on my own for half the cost since the tour company really didn't provide any added benefits except convenience
