Don’t waste ur money if u are English speaking. The instructor barely speaks English &you simply find a painting to copy

Very hard to find. Tried calling but no answer. Once I found it I discovered I was the only English speaking one there. The instructor explained it all in Italian until I finally got irritated and asked if he even spoke English and if he could take the time to explain to me. He did and then seemed to badmouth me to the other patrons as they giggled and looked at me. I do tours often solo and I travel quite extensively in Europe and Africa so I’m not unfamiliar with hurdles but this was frustrating because I just don’t think he has the capability or desire to train anyone outside of Italians. Very bizarre. The premise is that Basically you pick out a painting you like and try to copy it. He walks around to observe. I received one two minute instructional but the other two Italian couples received a full tutorial and chatty time as they painted for the hours with the instructor , so that was nice for them. The wine was good though. Would I recommend? Nope. This instructor is not educated enough on English, making people feel welcome, or how to tutor others in painting. In all honesty I’m not even sure he knows how to paint (had no examples of his own work). This was a bust.

Such a fun way to spend two hours, wine, pizza and painting. Each person got to choose their subject from a wide variety. I've painted before, but learned more about getting started and mixing colors. Marco's instruction was top rate as he took us thru the steps to create our paintings and his individual attention and suggestions well appreciated.

This was an amazing experience. We did this paint night to celebrate a birthday for an art lover and it was so perfect. Starting off with the location, this is a stunning building with beautiful details as soon as you walk into the lobby. Marco met us and took us up to the studio. We started off with some delicious wine (seriously was a very good choice of wine!) and also had some pizza while we chose our pictures. I must say i was a little intimidated by the photos because i am no artist but Marco was an amazing teacher. Marco made this experience a very memorable one. He is so talented and worked one on one with each of us, we basically got a private art lesson. He gave us lots of tips and tricks to make our piece look beautiful and they all did look so amazing. Thank you so much Marco for this unforgettable experience.

This experience was amazing! Macro did an amazing job helping us create our masterpieces. We were able to paint whatever we wanted an he was very patient helping us on our paintings individually.

I really liked this tour. It was different from the usual walking tours. We joined the artist and other girls around a table set up with small easels and everything you needed to paint. Plus we had delicious wine, cheese, and crackers to enjoy as we painted. The artist really knew her stuff and helped us along the way. Plus, this class was held in a 17th century gorgeous building to help lend inspiration to your evening. If you're looking from a break from all the museums and walking, book this event.

Amazing experience. A MUST do

We had no idea what to expect but it was the perfect way to start our Italian adventure. “Ruetta” was amazing (I’m sorry if we spelled your name wrong, we weren’t sure this is regina and Allison if you remember us - the two psychology girls). She was super fun, friendly and an incredible teacher. We are planning on doing this again and ending our Italian trip with her :D
