First of all, we totally lucked out with a private tour!!! My cousin, sister, and I ended up being the only ones on the tour with our guide Paul! He was amazing!!!!!! So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Rome history!!! We learned so much and gained a greater appreciation for Rome, over beer and great conversation!! Also, Paul was patient, answered any and all questions we had, and had a great sense of humor:) I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to walk the city, learn some interesting facts, and drink the best beers!!!

We met Daniel and found out it was just a tour with me and my partner! Daniel was friendly and welcoming right from the start, and we had a great time talking about history, seeing the sights (and learning about things we wouldn’t have seen by ourselves) and drinking great Italian beer. We had a fantastic time and would 100% recommend this tour for a personal insight into Rome and its varied history.

So…we were expecting a group to do this with, but apparently it’s often just a couple. So NOT what we were expecting BUT our tour guide was so great it was a fun time!

This tour was an absolute blast! We learned Roman history that we hadn't learned on other tours around the city and got to drink some beer along the way. My only wish is that we would've done this tour on our first night in Rome because our guide gave us so many good suggestions on other places to visit and restaurants to try. I would absolutely recommend!
