Ruben, our guide is a native to Rome and is very knowledgeable of history as well as current events. His English is spot on. We were delayed by 1/2 hour for our scheduled time and he waited for us. There was a special event that caused many roads to be closed...I do feel the tour company should have known this.

Virginia was PHENOMENAL!!! So knowledgeable and asked before we left what we had already seen or we had tickets for to avoid repetitive information and sightseeing. She was beyond exceptional with knowledge and information. Will always request Virginia for more tours!!!

There were 4 of us. It was very difficult for the 2 people sitting in the very back (and facing backwards) to hear the driver. So their experience was less than ideal. On the plus side it was a good way to briefly see the highlights of Rome. Although the people really didn’t have a good sense of what they were seeing.

A brisk paced tour, on quiet and smooth chariot, through the back roads of Rome with an incredibly informative guide. Andrea, historian, provided lively commentary on some of the lesser visited, but incredibly interesting sites.

This Golf Cart was the best way to see Rome. Ask for Niccolo at Gallo Tour Rome. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent guide. I recommend this tour.

Max the tour guide was exceptionally good. His sincere love of "his city" was evident. His genuine enthusiasm brought meaning to the centuries of history. The ruins were brought to live through his storytelling skills. The views were spectacular and his narrative was perfect. I recommend to any visitor to this beautiful city of Rome.

My wife and I booked a private tour, via golf cart, several months prior to arriving in Rome. Upon our arrival in Rome from a cruise we went to a location indicated on our email but were unable to find our tour guide or vehicle. We went to several different places but were told they knew nothing about our tour or sent us to yet another area. At one point we even separated to cover more sites. We were never able to find our tour subsequently took a taxi back to our hotel. Both of us were devastated as our time in Rome was limited. We will be in Ostia for several days and were hoping a replacement tour could be arranged.

I have been to Rome twice before and by far this was the best experience for a short time here. Marianna was amazing and took us took all of the sites you want to see and many I’ve never seen before. We had a 3 hour tour (better than Gillian’s) with a break in the middle for the best gelato we’ve ever had. Five stars and thank you so much Marianna. She really made our day in Rome spectacular.

I booked this tour for one person and my booking was accepted, only to be messaged later that they wouldn’t come because they were busy and don’t run the tour for a single participant (minimum two people). This should have been made clear before confirming the booking — it’s frustrating to plan your day around something and then be cancelled on last minute for reasons that should have been communicated upfront.

Your booking was made at the very last minute, and within just a couple of minutes it was automatically flagged and cancelled due to the minimum requirement of two participants. As a gesture of goodwill, we immediately offered you a complimentary tour for the following day, but we understand you were unable to accept it.

This was an excellent experience to get an overview of Rome. Our guide, Eva, was simple wonderful—kind, informative, and thoughtful. Her tour was filled with the big moments and quiet ones that aren’t on the usual list of things people want to see in Rome. And her ability to manage the crowds was simply awe inspiring! Also, thanks to Eva for noticing that we had some mobility issues and adapted accordingly. Great experience!

We appreciated the hotel pickup and drop-off immensely. One of the members of our family had an injury with difficulty walking. Daniela was more than flexible and accommodating. We were able to see hidden gems that were not part of the advertised tour. It made our experience extra special.
