Lots of Laughter, lots of great food, and lots of drinks. This is the best tour we had on our 2 weeks in 5 countries! You get interesting history your other guides left out, plus the sexual history too. You learn all the specifics on how a brothel worked, plus more. We enjoyed it and would have loved to hang out longer with our new friend.

BEST!TOUR!EVER! I have never been on a tour filled with so much fun, laughter, great food, and alcohol! OMG. My entire group has been raving about how great this tour was and the most fun we have ever had learning history. If history was taught like this, I'd remember more of it. Elvira, our tour guide, top notch. She was engaging, funny, and even after the tour, helped us find our way back to the bus stop. Eni and his wife were awesome. We left wishing we weren't visiting and could make all three of them lifelong friends. The pasta and pizza was amazing. The sadness that overcame us because we realized we haven't been eating pizza and pasta the way it was intended at all. This is how its supposed to taste. And the stories we learned were intriguing and left us wanting to know more. Truly full of the scandalous accounts that were not in my history book. This is one for the books and will become a life-long memory. Fabulous!

This was one of the main highlights of our time in Rome. The tour guide was super informative, entertaining, and laid back. It was fun to do this with another couple that we met on the tour and we ended up hanging out with them even after the tour was over. Would recommend to other adult couples coming to Rome and looking for a different kind of history of this amazing city. Must not be easily offended.

My wife and I couldn’t think of a better way to end our trip than this tour. One of the most incredible values I’ve seen on anything let aline the tours. We had already done a couple of different excursions and walking tours across the city of Rome, even some with overlap to this particular tour, but it was full of funny and interesting information. It was a different way to experience Rome. It wasn’t hamstrung by the extreme heat. It was brought to you with levity and fun by people who care both about the history and the tour itself, deeply. It started out with fun insights and frankly more accurate retellings of different areas that we had visited. The guide used resources to tell the stories and give visuals. Moreover, Eni was fun. The husband and wife team had a playful banter that kept things grounded and down to Earth. So many tours that we had on our trip it was almost impossible to ask a question or create a conversation. It was so hard to feel like it was OK to interrupt the flow and derail the journey with the rest of the group. We had a small group, but they poured into the experience for us in a way that I feel like really separated this tour from the others we had. As a history buff I thoroughly enjoy being able to discuss things with somebody who cared a lot and knew a lot while my wife also enjoyed just being able to experience the nightlife of the city get away a little bit from the heat and partake it as many drinks as we could fit into the time with someone who matched that energy. Most tours are not a “social” experience. The tour guide knew the restaurant owner where we had the best pizza of the trip, introduced us, rented out a private bar with an excellent mixologist, and even got us into the ice bar as the tour wound down. My wife and I are 2 fairly outgoing people that just spent three weeks basically with just one another and while we absolutely love spending time with one another, having somebody else to be a part of it and to share and give us insights on the city, especially the fun ones and silly ones as well as the deeply interesting and historical ones. I would recommend this tour to anybody, but especially those who are looking to experience Rome in a different way. People who want to talk and have questions and are enthusiastic both about people and the potential stories from Rome. I know, 20 years from now, the fun and interesting stuff from this tour is going to be the make up of dinner conversations for us. I think the tour guides are talented enough to adapt to any group, or people, but for us it was awesome to talk to people who we felt a kinship with.

SO FUN! An absolute must! It was a mixture of history, architecture, and the crazy sexual history that shaped us all. This is great for couples, singles, and anyone who’s looking for history with a good sense of humor at the some time. Tours can get old and this was the perfect mix up of history and fun!

Eni's storytelling style isn't for the faint-hearted, but that's exactly why so many guests enjoy the experience.
We had an absolute blast on this tour. I think we interrupted the guide too many times for him to actually educate us, but we took away the important stuff. This tour was light hearted and a great way to end our Europe trip. We had nice drinks, and good food, and fantastic company in our tour guides. I would recommend this tour.

WORTH IT!!! This is the best tour i’ve ever been on. This adorable couple will 100000% bring the vibes and alcohol. Our group are girls who know how to drink and they made sure we were satisfied!! Absolutely loved every second of the tour. From the beginning we were overlooking the Colosseum with multiple bottles of wine. Throughout the whole time our group was living it up and we would all do it again!! If you don’t know if it is worth it, it is.

This was hands down the best tour we went on in Italy. The guides were incredible — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun — and they made everyone feel like part of the family from the very start. They encouraged us to ask questions, share our own thoughts, and really be part of the experience, which made it even more special. This tour was easily one of the highlights of our entire honeymoon. If you’re going to the Colosseum for the first time, book this tour, if you’re returning to the area, book this tour! Drunken History manages to turn what could have been a standard historical walking tour into a hilarious, engaging, and surprisingly emotional experience. Our guide… Eni was charismatic, wildly knowledgeable, and a natural storyteller who brought the city’s past to life in the most entertaining way possible.
Between sips of delicious local drinks and dramatic tales of love, scandal, and passion from Ancient Rome, we felt like we were stepping back in time… only with better drinks and a lot more laughs. The pacing was perfect, the group energy was fantastic, and every stop was filled with unforgettable stories that blended history, humor, and heart. We had such a great time bonding with other couples on the trip.

I will lead off with the fact that they truly do offer you as much to drink as you would like but please do read my entire review as there is so much more.
The engaged couple and owners of this tour have truly thought through the fun and adventure that we are all looking for from the unlimited flow of champagne, the abundance of pizza options, the additional cocktails to the shots throughout the tour.
Ene (not correct spelling) is so very educated about the Roman history both on the colorful adult side of this world but also about the transfer of power over the generations.
My husband and I were engaged the entire time which is tough for us, especially on a 3 hour walking tour.
I cannot recommend this tour enough for open minded adventurers!

This was one of THE BEST experiences on our trip through Italy! Eni, our guide, was an exceptional host and kept us entertained the whole time. The drinks and food were great and the subject matter was fascinating. This is a great way to learn about a much more different side of the history of Rome. I had such a wonderfully FUN night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you book this tour. My host/tour guide Endrin was fantastic, he has such a wealth of ancient Roman knowledge AND he doesn’t make it boring to listen to. It was so much fun!
