- All visitors need to carry a valid photo ID/Document (copy or photo in phone is accepted), at the entrance it will be checked with tickets.
- Please provide the full names of all travellers during booking. Failure to show full name matching with ID, entry may be denied to the Colosseum and Roman Forum & Palatine Hill.
- This is not a guided tour, visit with a pre-purchased ticket where the client will go directly to the entrance, avoiding the ticket office to buy the ticket..
- Children(under 18) tickets are free and we will provide you free tickets. Children names also need to be provided with booking.
- Colosseum has a separate ticket office to buy the tickets, in this experience you can directly go to the entrance with avoiding ticketing line.
- All visitors have to follow the security/ticket checking queue. There is some waiting expected on busy days for security/ticket checking.
- Clients need to go directly to the entrance. We will send you an official entry ticket to your email and WhatsApp (if available) before the day of activity with details.
- Please note: Colosseum regular admission cost is 18.00 Euro and with Arena is 24.00 Euro, The remaining cost of the experience covers other services.
- The digital audioguide (general audio guide or info to download, not gps enabled (mp3/app/online) will be delivered by Email or WhatsApp and you have to listen by your own phone and headset.
- You have only one entry to the Colosseum and only one entry to the (Roman Forum & Palatine Hill)
- Be aware that booking may cancel for unforeseen reasons, in this case full refund will be provided.

Was great to go at our own pace. The tour was at sunset, which made for amazing photos. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to do Palestine hill or the Forum. If you bookmark later entry into the coliseum Mae sure to do the other activities first.

Happy that we got the tickets I’ve had a time. The lines moved fast and having the pre-bought ticket is a must. The audio guide was good, but definitely would prefer a person for tour guide for next time. It was hard to listen and navigate through the Colosseum at the same time. The audio guy did seem like I had a good amount of information, but it was difficult to do the audio and the in person died at the same time.

Instructions were very confusing. The directions we were given to meet the guide were incorrect. When I texted him, we were told to go into the entrance. The audio guide was too large to download and we were not able to use it.

Self guided tour was good. The audio was only 30 minutes so not really a guide per say but still well worth it. We were able see the Colosseum then have lunch before heading into the Forum. The Forum was my favorite part. It rained all day and it didn’t stop anyone from exploring.

Get there early as there is so much to see.
Ensure you download your ticket, q-code not bar code, before you set out as the info you receive is a little confusing.

Excellent. Worth the extra to access the Arena level of the Colosseum - fewer people (but still busy) and much easier to take photos. The place is spectacular…then Palatine Hill and Roman Forum are just as amazing. A large site, and so much to see. It’s all fascinating! We enjoyed being able to tour at our our pace, and the audio was sent to WhatsApp, so even easier than getting a rented audio guide.
Travellers should perhaps note there’s quite a lot of queueing involved, first for the Colosseum (even with timed tickets) that after that you queue again for Paletine Hill and Roman Forum access (I think we were at least another hour). You may also want to have food/drink with you…there are water fountains, but no where to get any food or snacks that we could see (apart from a couple vending machines inside Palatine Hill).

Great day learning all about the colosseum. Simply incredible! We didn’t have a chance to visit the palatine forum due to another scheduled tour but spent enough time at the colosseum to appreciate it. Viator is always my go to for tours anywhere I visit.

This was not skip the line, but we took the earliest time of the day and did not wait long. It was nice to be able to move at our own pace instead of with a group. These tickets included the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

This was great for skipping the line but the audio tour was tough to follow. It did not follow any particular route along the colosseum so no points of reference - just general information being tossed to you as you milled around. We went on a really crowded day, which did not help. Almost would have been better to listen to the audio BEFORE entering and then walking around on your own reading signs

It's a long walk around the Colosseum. And on the day we went, it was 34 degrees. My wife had a knee operation a few months ago and it was difficult for her. Also, the lift was not very accessible. But in spite of that and the huge crowds, an amazing experience!

The Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill access via Viator was seamless and well-organized. Entry was smooth, and the audio guide helped bring the ancient ruins to life with just the right amount of historical detail. We appreciated being able to explore at our own pace without feeling rushed.
The Colosseum itself is awe-inspiring, but don’t miss the Palatine Hill – the views over the Forum and the city are unforgettable. A few audio guide segments could’ve been more interactive or better synced with the surroundings, but overall, it was a worthwhile experience and excellent value for the price.
Highly recommended if you want flexibility without compromising on depth.

We went early to try to beat the crowds. No help. It was packed. It was so busy it was not enjoyable. Add the fact that the scam artists are all over the place outside trying to “give you a gift” and trying to slap a bracelet on your arm and demand money. Just be rude and don’t talk to them

Can’t remember our guide’s name, but she wasn’t informative. It seemed like she had several trains of thoughts going at once. She also seemed to fantasize over muscular movie stars/roman gladiators. We didn’t get to see the many parts of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. We ended up booking another entry ticket to the Roman Forum.

Good value, was a bit confusing after Colosseum to get into Palatine Hill and forum.. is extremely big, having a guide would have been good as a lot to cover. Both sites are very impressive

Go for the arena, adds an extra dimension. 8.30am tour, queuing a little chaotic but got in just about on time.

What a fantastic historic experience!
We had access to the floor of the colesseum, where we sat on the stone benches marveling at antiquity and chatting away under the beautiful blue sky.
We ventured to the upper level, took great pictures, and followed the path set for visitors out of the colesseum to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
I must say the colesseum was well staffed and the employees were very helpful.
The Forum experience was
WOW, WOW, WOW!
We were transported back time.
The walk to the forum was a bit treacherous due to cobble boulders(lol).
Please were sneakers or hiking boots, take your time and watch your step!
Our tour was self directed which made for a more relaxed experience.

I loved seeing the Colosseum and the Forum. The tickets were easy to pick up, and we went right in. This tour gave us access to all the areas that we wanted to see. That was perfect.
HOWEVER, the audio was NOT what I was expecting. I am unable to keep up with a group’s pace, so I selected this tour thinking that the audio would be similar to having a self-paced tour guide. It was not at all like that.
The audio told interesting facts about the Colosseum, but nothing was tied to where we were, what we were seeing or where we should go next.
I was expecting something more like “Your next stop is at the arena floor. Stop the audio now, walk to the arena floor, and start the audio again when you get there.” Then, once at the arena floor, “On your left is a recreation of the lifts that carried gladiators to the arena floor. On your right is the box where the emperor sat”.

Totally not worth the money and time. It was very crowded, took a long time to get into the arena and was ultimately a letdown. The audio guide was not worth it.
