This is a great choice if...

This is a great choice if you want to do a self guided tour. You do get 24 hours to enter the forum or the Hill. But so you know if you enter either the forum or the Hill you must go to both in that period of time before leaving the park. Otherwise you can’t get back in to either one. This was not explained to us before we exited so we had to pay again to get into the hill.

There was a mix up with tickets as we played £69 for 2 entry ticket as we were on the understanding that it was with a guide tour but we got to the Colloseum and by the time we found out what and were to go meet our booking time had lapsed and that these ticket are just standard entry ticket @ €17 each and gemini tour said that the rest was service and commission charges of 30% that makes these charges over 75% I will be sorting it out for a refund of the rest when back in England

We paid too much but got in on time with no troubles. YMMV.

The cheaper option is to book in advance or wait in an hours long line. Tourism in places like this is a broken scam usually. Using this way means they give you tickets at the last minute via WhatsApp (assumably so if you don't make it on time, they keep your money and resell your tickets like scalpers do) We paid too much but got in on time with no troubles. YMMV.

Great experience! Glad to be able to skip the line. No need for ticket redemption. They send you the ticket to your whatsapp the day before your visit. So make sure to reach out to the tour operator before your visit so they know where to send your tickets.

I was very difficult to get tickets, so I suggest reserving as early as possible. The only problem I found was getting a straight response from Viator. After they told me I had tickets, I wrote back 3 times asking for what time as we were docking by shop and had an hour drive. All they responding 4 times was you have tickets. We actually had tickets for 1:15 pm. The colosseum is ver strict on admission times. So know before you go.

The trip to Palatino and Forum is more memorable than the Colosseum

Thanks to Viator, I skipped the whole line and went in quickly. Despite being overcrowded, I was able to get around easily and take photos. Colosseum does not provide much as it is somewhat barebones but Palatino Hill and the Forum Roma is beautiful. The green and quite gardens will calm your mind and watching the Forum from above is gorgeous. Can’t believe the whole history is preserved right at the center of the city.

Everything is ok except the thing with reedeming the tickets. You need to find that guy in the crowd, without any specific sign that can help you to notice him. I suggest in future to have some flag or shirt with name of the agency, so it is easily to find where to redeem tickets. Other than that, everything was good!

Simple and easy. The tour operator reached out to me and sent me the tickets in advance along with instructions. Efficient and hassle-free. If you don’t manage to secure official colosseum tickets, this is definitely a recommended way to enter! Guided tours are a lot more expensive and don’t give you the independence to explore the area on your own pace, hence I would recommend this to anyone who just wants colosseum tickets
