Our Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum tour with Dimitri was outstanding. His deep knowledge of Roman history was evident, and he had a gift for explaining complex and sometimes difficult topics in a way that was clear and meaningful. What made the experience especially enjoyable was his humor, which he sprinkled in throughout the tour to keep everyone engaged and attentive. Tour was fine. Just wish we spent more time exploring the places as opposed to talking about the places. Most of the tour we were off to the side following along with the guide as she referenced a picture book. Alot of people walked off during this to take pictures and then came back when we moved to the next spot.

Matteo was so good at explaining things to us. It was amazing being able to skip the line. He told us exactly where we would stop for the bathroom and refreshments. Great guide and very funny and passionate about the sites.

We arrived late and Crown Tours did everything they could to get us a tour. Everything worked out in the end.

The tour started 45 minutes late, additionally it is not skip the line we probably waited in lines for over an hour and half, and the company didn't purchase the correct amount of tickets so we had to wait additional time to get into the colosseum.
You do not really get to see anything in the forum or at the hill due to rushing through.
There are better tours for cheaper.
Not worth it in my books.

The tour itself had the potential to be really good, and I saw others on the same tour with a different guide which looked much better. However, our tour guide didnt really seem to have much knowledge about any of it. I dont really think she gave us any facts about either the roman forman or the colosseum. She was not engaging at all. The ear pieces also cut out at times and the group size was 50 - so a large group to walking around in. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I overheard other tour groups and guides from the same company and they had put a lot more effort into researching and telling the stories and history of the location.

This was one of the best experiences we had in Rome. The tour was all encompassing of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum. Overlooking the Forum from the top of the hill was probably one of the most visually stunning views I have seen in my lifetime. The wow factor is beyond. You cannot go to Rome and not see this. the headphones were a little spotty but i even still learned so much more than I ever expected.
