We really enjoyed the tours of the waterfalls. James did an excellent job of driving and showing us all the beautiful nature in Oregon. His knowledge of the gorge and waterfalls was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this tour!!

This was perfect if you want to avoid trying to find a parking place at each stop. It made it much less stressful. The hikes were all very doable, some steep incline but no need for hiking shoes. It was also nice to have the option to be picked up from our hotel. Overall a great experience.

It was adventurous. The tour guide was very informative at each stop, and we had more than enough time to explore everything. At the stops with shops and restrooms, we were able to stay a little longer. I unknowingly duplicated a few hikes from a different tour I took the day before, but it still felt like my first time. The time of day was different, and we took different routes, so I got to experience parts I hadn’t seen before. I definitely recommend this tour. There was plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed.

Professional and knowledgeable guide, and an excellent experience.
Highly recommend for appreciation of the Columbia River Gorge.

What an amazing tour with a great knowledgeable guide. Doug took excellent care of us on this outing. It was amazing to be able to visit such different waterfalls in short proximity to one another. As this was our first trip to Oregon, this tour was absolutely a great way to go. No driving, just relaxing and taking in the views. Some hiking was involved, so wear hiking boots!

This is perfect 1/2 day tour. All the stops were perfect. Amazing falls. Zach was awesome tour guide.

We loved this trip. The best part was they pick us up at hotel so we didn't have to find the trails or drive up the often narrow roads and fight little parking available. Doug was our guide and one of the most knowledgeable. He told many historic stories of the lad around us. Perfect for this jobí

My family really enjoyed the waterfall tour with Branden. It was wonderful to be able to view and get close to the waterfalls. Our guide kept us informed on why the trees looked a certain way and the history of how the roads were the way they were. Beautiful scenery.

We absolutely LOVED our tour of the waterfalls! The tour takes you to breathtakingly gorgeous waterfalls. A couple of them require pretty intense walks up or down to get to them. While we loved the tour, we were extremely disappointed that our tour guide rushed the entire experience. Every waterfall had a description and timeline set when we booked this tour, but he ended every single one early. We were scheduled to be at Multnomah for an hour and he only gave us 40 minutes. By the time we walked up to the bridge we had about 10 minutes to actually enjoy it before having to rush back. I questioned the timing because we really wanted to go to the gift shop and restaurant but with only 40 minutes we couldn’t. Every fall time was cut short. We arrived back to our car at 1:30pm when the tour was scheduled to end at 3pm. We feel it was beautiful but we were rushed and and feel robbed of the full experience.

This was an excellent tour, no looking for a parking space, no worry about directions, easy to hear the best trail to use to see the falls. The tour guide obviously loves his city, and has lots of insights on the area of the falls, and can answer any additional questions on the area.

The journey was perfectly comfortable. However, while we were on the trip, a another person in our group was seriously injured. We were a little confused about how that was being handled, and it seemed as though the driver didn’t even have a first aid kit to give her an ice pack. Now, that being said, we don’t necessarily know what was going on all of the time, but the other people on the bus gave her Advil and went and got her an ice pack so that was a little bit confusing. The people on our trip ended up, calling an Uber to go back to the location where we started the tour to pick up their car and to get medical support. Maybe the guide goal was to remain calm so that we would not all be nervous about what was going on, but it just felt like maybe he needed a little more support in handling that. Also, he did not have a headset on or any kind of mic and with the noise from the highway, it was really hard to hear all the interesting information that he was giving us about the land and the waterfalls.
Overall, the trip was amazing and we thought that he was a great guide it just felt almost like the company hadn’t set him up for success with the things that he might need

It was amazing! So pretty! It was so cool to see all the Waterfalls and hike down to them! Rich was an amazing tour guide!

James was kind and cordial. Knew history of the area. Provided cold water. Lush green surroundings. Best of Oregon. Music was less than peaceful but I didn’t have courage to ask to change it. Am sure he would have if I’d asked.
Kevin_F, May 2026
Lot of fun. James was very knowledgeable and added good timely commentary. The rest of these words are because I am required to have them.

This was my favorite part of my recent trip to Oregon. We had James as a driver and guide, and I could not ask for a better experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and took away all the stress of driving, navigating packed parking lots and a huge amount of tourists and local people enjoying the views. Not only were the waterfalls beautiful, but the scenic drive and views made everything feel more special. A quick heads up to wear shoes with good traction as some spots can get a little slippery from waterfall spray, and a couple had some steep hills if you’re not used to hikes, but none were too bad! Overall I can’t recommend this enough and count yourself lucky if you get to go with James!

Absolutely upfront stunning views of all the waterfalls. We even had a surprise at one of the falls. A gentleman climbed down the falls

This was amazing we saw so many waterfalls and the van was so spacious. You need to bring boots because your sneakers will get muddy from the excess water from the falls.
Richard_B, May 2026
Take advantage of the short hikes. Great trails and plenty of time to see each waterfall.
Great driver/guide.

Such a great way to see a good chunk of the the natural beauty in Portland area!! A bit rushed but was also nice to get in 6 stops!! The waterfalls were gorgeous, just when I thought they couldn't be anymore beautiful they would!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hey Alyssa, thanks for the review, I hear you on feeling rushed - we offer a full day tour for folks who want to spend a bit more time in the gorge, while the half-day is a bit more gentle and less time consuming for folks with different needs. Hope to see you on the full day soon!
