Good way to warm up to city of diversity. Guide give detail history of many different eatery & restaurants which help visiter to understand the food this city's food culture. We had fun. Wiling to try the tour again in other city

My 17-year old son and I enjoyed getting to taste the different foods included on this tour, along with learning about some of the history and culture of the area around the Reading Market. The tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic about sharing the foods and the city of Philadelphia. Definitely come hungry because this tour provides full-size samples of some delicious and filling food! The pretzel cheesesteaks were unique and very good, and super filling. I love booking food tours when I visit a new city, and this tour was definitely a winner.

If you are lucky, Arielle will be your guide. Cheesesteak pretzel, followed by Malaysian chicken and roti appetizer, followed by Chinatown shopping, followed by strawberry-and-lavendar donuts. I had to leave early, but it was well worth the price I paid for just doing half the tour!

We had a wonderful experience. Arielle was a great tour guide, friendly, informative and efficient. Taking care of all the details, including pre-ordering and managing to find seats in the busy food market, all we had to do was follow and enjoy. The food picked for the tour was absolutely wonderful. The history information was excellent. The distance was all that we could handle, due to our legs. I would have liked our guide to have slowed down in speed so that we could hear everything he talked about. Other than that it was a wonderful, fascinating tour of Philadelphia foods and city.

Dominic was a wonderful guide. He was very friendly and was very knowledgeable of the Philadelphia area. He gave us some history of the area we were walking through as well as explained the history of the food we were tasting. This was especially enjoyable for our thirteen year old granddaughter who was not familiar with Philadelphia. This tour was our birthday gift to her and she enjoyed it very much. The food we tasted was delicious and plentiful. We all enjoyed all of it especially the cheesesteak in the pretzel roll for the Reading Terminal Market. We were very pleased with everything and I have already recommended this tour to friends.

The young man who led the tour was very easy to listen to and shared a lot of interesting history. He was kind and easy-going and I have nothing but good things to say about him. But I was hoping for a lot more walking, seeing more historic food sites, and having a lot of small bites from many places.
However, what we got was meals from a very historical market and a couple of relatively young restaurants. And truthfully the only meal that I didn’t have a problem with was the shepherd’s pie…which you can find anywhere.
Part of what I didn’t like was cause by the tour being right in the same area just before things got started at some type of neighborhood concert and the whole area was very packed with people and that’s not really the tours fault. I do hope they work on the number of stops and proportions at each because the city has to have more food history to share than that.

Our tour guide, Dom, was nice and knowledgeable. I have a food allergy and they made sure I could eat the food that was served. We went to several places and were served large portions at each stop. We learned a lot of history of the area and even played a trivia game about Philadelphia. A very fun, enjoyable day.

We had a great time on our food tour exploring Philadelphia. Dom was a great guide and host. He told us so many interesting stories and facts about the area and the sights.
