Conveniently walk over to our Waikiki location at 8:30 am, but no later than 10:00 am. Be aware, if you choose to pick your rental up after 10:00 am then there may be a chance that it won’t be available. All moped rentals are due back promptly at 5:00 pm.

The employees were AMAZING. We watched a very informational video at the beginning which was amazing to know all the ins and outs. They gave us a map with recommendations. The main guy made sure we were comfortable before we took off which was very nice and made me feel very confident. Amazing way to do your own thing while also exploring the island. 10/10 would recommend and attend again 10000x.

There were a lot of hidden costs. The scooter went really slow, and I felt unsafe on the roads. The charging port didn’t work so I had to return it early because my phone died.

Great experience. We are able to ride around and get a great feel for the island with many stops along the way. Great explanation of use of mopeds and expectations. Be ready to have to pay more when you get there though several extra fees (insurance,gas, etc) also where sunglasses and closed toe shoes. Totally worth it though.

My wife hurt her knee but we still tried to ride the mopeds. They were really helpful and tried help in any way possible. In the end my wife just didn't have the balance required so we had to bag it and they were very understanding and even refunded our money. They are great people and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Extremely disappointed in the company’s lack of accountability.
I purchased 4 tickets based on the information provided via website. This excluded required drivers licenses and $200 insurance hold pp, which placed us at a disadvantage and possible loss. I was unable to negotiate alternative excursions, or obtain a refund even after proving that information was not made available upon securing these rentals.
Hawaiian Style Rental was an absolute lifesaver. Not only did they agree with the misleading/omitted information, but they were so accommodating & professional. My family were all able to rent E-Bikes instead with a reasonable deposit for insurance; and couldn’t have had a better time.
The experience, outside of Viator, was incredible. I highly recommend Hawaiian Style Rental for your island experience, if third-party can be eliminated. Manager, Robin and Brandon are great at what they do and assured us sheer satisfaction and that was exactly what was had. Thank you, guys!

This was my absolute favorite activity during my vacation. You get a moped rental for 24 hours for roughly $70. There are a few added fees to be aware of. Of course, there's the standard rental fee which can range from $40-55. Then there are some taxes and gas fees which add another $10. Once you get in person, there's an optional $25 insurance. I initially was not going to get it, but I changed my mind last minute - and thank God I did! I stupidly dropped my bike and the handle broke. Someone from the shop drove an hour out to where I was just to fix it. That's all covered by the insurance. There are plenty of places to stop if you have to wait for a service. But in regards to the experience, it was awesome. You have the freedom to drive as much and wherever you want (minus the mountainous regions where it's too steep for mopeds). Gas is only $6 to fill the tank. You can chain your bike anywhere and get off to enjoy a site. This is a much cheaper and quicker option compared to Uber or a trolly bus tour.

Great friendly service & enjoyed the rental mopeds. Especially for the starters who never rode one. Their staff provided detailed training on how to ride them. We all had lots of fun!

I'm so glad we chose to do this our first morning in Waikiki. My boyfriend rides a harley so we upgraded to a bigger faster bike. This is the best way to see the island on your own time and stop at your leisure. We met some locals along the way and they were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time on the bike.

We really had fun with the mopeds. All mopeds were in great conditions. We paid $25 more to include insurance. This was my wife and kids' first experience with mopeds but they had no problem picking it up. Remember to put on sun block while riding mopeds.

Being able to stop whenever you want was what made this adventure worth while. We rented 50cc bikes. I would recommend getting a little larger, especially if you are following the Oceanside road. Staff was very helpful in helping my wife feel comfortable on her bike.

I had To bring my scooter back my mirror was loose and my kick stand was hidden. While I was out my scooter lock was the hardest thing to do. I had to bang it against the cement to lock it. Other than that the experience was cool. Also this is not a guided or self guided tour. Know what you want to see and make your own plans.

Love the experience riding with my partner. They teach you how to ride for 1st time user, they allow you to switch from single moped to double in case your partner is not confidence enough to ride alone

I’ve rented from a few places here….the young kids working here are the positives. The equipment. Not so much.
My bike was really banged up, broken blinker cover, just banged up all over… ,My right mirror was so loose I had to repeatedly push up the support bar while moving so could see in back of me, a safety issue.I pointed this out to the nice counter girl, she apologized and tried damage control, but think the owners trying to get by renting subpar equipment.
I got coupon for next Time, but do t think I’d rent here.
They went over safety pretty well, but didn’t cover where to park…many poles on the curb are too far for the chain to reach….this was he case at Iolani Palace, so I couldn’t park.

This was the best way to explore a big chunk of the island in one day at your leisure! The team was amazing! They were very helpful at suggesting beautiful routes, extremely patient with training, and were interested in hearing about any concerns when we returned. Highly recommend over and over again!

What a fun way to scoot around the island. Max speeds ~35 mph so no highway riding. Helmet and lock provided. Staff were friendly and helpful.
