Remarkable experience also a great learning experience in history. The captain and the crew were very knowledgeable and educational. Oooh the cultural food and fresh/chilled coconut was exquisite. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic cruise; a real taste of Hawaiian/Polynesian culture! Highly recommended for anyone who would like to see the Waikiki shoreline and enjoy a fantastic educational experience. The crew and guides were very knowledgeable and welcoming. I’ve traveled the world and have done many local tours; this ranks right up in the top 5! Captain was very professional and ensured we had a safe and enjoyable adventure. Don’t waste your time with the party cruises…this is a much better experience and more Hawaiian than many of the other touristy cruises. A MUST DO for families, solo, and couples during your stay in Oahu!

This was an amazing experience where my wife and I were able to learn about Hawaiian language, Hawaiian culture we were able to make and eat Hawaiian food.
Sailing out to diamond head on, and authentic ship built for the king of Tonga we relaxed and enjoyed some good Hawaiian music.
Sailing back we had lots of cultural activities. I especially enjoyed all the history. My wife and I made bracelet leis for each other, which we are now probably wearing around the beach.
You will not be disappointed!

My family loved the education and authenticity of this experience. My three year old was captivated by the real life Moana, hula lessons and making her own poi. The food was amazing. If you want to get out on the water, learn some Hawaiian history and avoid the booze cruises this trip is for you.

The crew is a well functioning team and did phenomenal at making our experience great. We got to see turtles, beautiful ocean and Waikiki from the sea. Culture learning was amazing, the food was the best we had yet. You could tell it was fresh and actually local. The tuna and marlin just so good. We got lucky and had the boat to ourselves because the others were late so it was a private trip. My only complaint was that we couldn’t stay out longer. There is tons of history and culture with this and it did not feel like a tourist trap which we loved. This is day 4 and count this as our best event yet, other than exploring on our own of course. Worth every dollar, mahalo!

This trip was exactly what we wanted for our family, an authentic sail on a catamaran that was originally built for the king of Tonga, and now is a floating experience on Hawaiian culture, food & history. We got to sail out along Waikiki, with traditional food, learned to dance the hula, learn to speak some Hawaiian. The highlight was our wonderful guide. She got the whole boat playing music together. It was a wonderful experience!

This was my fourth trip to Hawaii and by far my favorite excursion ever. We boarded with just 3 other guests and had a lovely time viewing the gorgeous coastline, learning about the rich Hawaiian culture and customs, and even participating in creating some music together. The crew was so warm and welcoming. They were also so kind to our son, letting him help steer and hoist the sail, he loved it. Such an unforgettable experience and could not recommend it more.

By far the best excursion of the week! Great for families: fun with an education experience on Hawaiian culture. We tried native Hawaiian foods, played Hawaiian instruments, learned the Hula and enjoyed the beautiful weather and ocean. Even saw a few turtles on the trip! Myself, my partner and my two kids had an awesome time: if we could give MORE STARS, we would!

My boyfriend and I had an incredible sailing experience! The captain and crew were so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit about Hawaiian history and culture, and we loved the live music. The food was amazing too- best poke we've had in Hawaii! This was a really special experience which we would recommend to anyone traveling to Oahu.

Highly recommend for anyone seeking to relax and enjoy a rich cultural experience. I booked this trip for me, my daughter and three granchildren ages 4, 14 & 20. There is something for everyone. It was relaxing and beautiful at the same time very educational. We were fortunate to have the extremely talented musician and expert on Hawaiian culture La’amea Paleka on board in addition to the very knowledgeable Captain Rob and crew. We pounded poi, made tea leave leis, helped raise the sail, were serenaded and learned Hawaiian stories and songs. This is a must for anyone visiting Oahu.
