What a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the stories he told were very informative. Had a wonderful time walking to different sites and the whole group was very into the experience so that made it even better! Definitely recommend!

Lots of historical information about the past Hawaiian activities on the Island. Very easy communication with Mr. Kapanui and a wealth of knowledge. The length of the walk was just right, and learning about the spirits still lingering today. Overall, a great tour and would recommend for anyone interested in the history and paranormal aspect of Oahu.

The guide is extremely knowledgeable about culture and Lore. Well known his work and storytelling skills. Great way to learn about the local history and stories of the Hawaiian people and their way to interact with nature. There is also a chance to take photos and participate in the stories.

What a night we had in Honolulu, learning about real-life tales of murder, vengeance, and redemption. Lopaka is an incredible guide on this journey to the invisible realms of consciousness, and kept us all on our toes. Best part -- we had photographic evidence of spirit activity at the Courthouse, and even captured a disembodied voice on our iPhone, intelligently answering one of our questions. It was a night to remember and I can't recommend Lopaka enough!

We had a wonderful guide who kept us completely enthralled with his stories and deep command of Hawaiian history and folklore. This was also the first tour we did that was so interactive, complete with tips on photos and recordings to take!

This was a great experience that the whole family can enjoy! It was a mix of history and story telling that only a local guide would be able to convey. The sites were great too and the haunted tree was the best! Our only complaint is that it ended too soon! We would have loved to spend hours doing this!

We had a group ages 11-61 and everyone enjoyed the evening even if for different reasons. Some enjoyed for the historic aspect others for the storytelling and others for the sixth sense aspect of the tour.

Not so much walking ghost tour, more a wander for paranormal activity

I really wanted to like this tour, and Lopaka was a perfectly capable guide. However I had expectations the tour would involve lots of walking to see buildings and architecture, while hearing about the history of Honolulu including ghost stories. The tour is actually an exercise in searching for paranormal activity. We did not do much walking and there was not much historical information provided, relative to what I've seen on other ghost tours. We had to use our phones a great deal of the time to take photos and video and report any findings. I was disappointed as I felt the description of the tour could be clearer as to what was involved. I am not at all intending to disrespect anyone's beliefs with this feedback, it just unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. If you believe in or are interested in paranormal activity you will love this tour. But if you don't, then I would recommend just do a normal history walking or bike tour.
