Thanks Mark! You guys made it fun. Really enjoyed walking with you!

Very eclectic.

Denise_C, Mar 2026
Morgan kept the stops close to each other on flat ground. We got a variety of food without having to walk too much.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Denise! I'm glad you guys had fun. It was indeed, eclectic.

Amazing tour!

Rhonda_L, Dec 2025
Morgan was the BEST tour guide. We've been on food tours in Boston, Rome and lastly, New York! We learned so much while on our tour and genuinely had the best time strolling through the village and eating our way around. Just book it! You will not regret your time spent . Morgan makes you feel like you are just out and about with friends- not stuffy at all!

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Hey Rhonda! Thanks for this glowing review! Had a great time showing you guys around and I'm looking forward to our custom thing in May!

Morgan was an excellent tour guide, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood. He made sure everyone was doing well throughout the tour and the food choices were excellent! Our group was very pleased with everything and will travel back to the neighborhood to explore more when we come back to NYC.

My husband and I had a great time on our tour with Morgan. He was very knowledgeable about the area and made the tour fun and interactive. We loved that he incorporated stories about the history of the area. We ate food that we otherwise would not have tried, everything tasted great, and he gave recommendations for places that we didn’t stop at. The tour is free flowing with the ability to change food stops.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thanks for the review Sarah! Had a blast with you guys!!

Native New Yorker takes a West Village history, food, and pub crawl FTW!

Marc_G, Sep 2025
I am a lifelong New Yorker. My wife is not but we’ve both lived in Manhattan for 26 years — and we’ve always thought walking food tours were something only tourists did. Last night proved us completely wrong. We joined the "Village Nights: Greenwich Village Food Crawl" with Morgan as our guide, and it turned out to be one of the best nights out we’ve had in years. Morgan is a phenomenal guide: knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories that even native New Yorkers like us didn’t know. Along the way, we learned so much about the Village’s history — from Washington Square Park to the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire to the Stonewall riots and more. The food and drink stops were outstanding. Some were hidden gems we’d never noticed, and others were places we’d walked past for years without realizing how good they were. From falafels to Indian fusion tacos, pizza, pomme frites, and dessert, everything we tried was delicious. The mix of history, culture, and incredible food made the whole evening fly by. What really made the experience special was Morgan’s ability to weave together the neighborhood’s stories with today’s flavors, making the Village come alive in a way that felt authentic and fun. Whether you’re a visitor or a longtime New Yorker, I can’t recommend this tour enough. We’re already planning to bring friends on it next time. Thank you, Morgan, for such a memorable night!

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Extremely high praise! Had a blast showing you guys around! Look forward to seeing you again!

awesome

Suzanne_D, Aug 2025
Awesome Experience I've done many of these tours in the past, and they never get old, especially because each guide has a different perspective and how they present it to the group.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Thanks Suzanne! I agree I love the different things individual guides bring to the table! Especially me. :)

The best food tour for people who are from New York, and those who are not

jeffpavell, Jun 2025
I took this tour with another couple and we are all veteran New Yorkers, but we ate places we would’ve never dreamed of and learned a lot about New York City that we had never heard of This is a fantastic tour for people who think they know New York and no New York food and also for people out of town. I love it so much. I’m gonna tell my other friends who live in the city that they think they know New York, but not until they take this food tour

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Yooooooooooo

Great Way to See a Bit of Greenwich Village

JUDY_S, May 2025
Morgan, the tour guide really knew the area well, and the food stops he picked were good. The meeting spot was clearly marked.

Response from Host, May 2025

Thanks Judy! Glad you had a good time!!! :) It was a pleasure exploring with you guys!

Good food, good cultural and historical intro to Greenwich Village and beyond

Heidi_L, Apr 2025
The tour was a great way to see the sites, eat good food and learn both historical and cultural events that shaped the Greenwich Village area. Morgan did a great job being flexible and informative.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Glad you had fun Heidi! Thanks for taking the time to post a review! :)

Great time!

Kristin_Y, Apr 2025

New Year's Walkabout with Friends

Maureen_R, Jan 2025
Morgan began by sharing his goal was to plan an evening that was as comfortable as friends walking about town. He did a great job of asking us what we wish to tour to encompass; great food, conversation spots, secret hideaways. He came prepared to do a preplanned tour but did a great job of making suggestions and taking us to a variety of spots. Perfect for a quiet New Year's Eve walkabout.

Response from Host, Jan 2025

Thanks Maureen! Had a blast talking with you guys. Hope the rest of your trip was wonderful. :)

Tasty & History!

Iain_M, Nov 2024
Morgan was a great tour guide, sharing a lot of history about the Greenwich Village area of NYC and also sharing some of his fave food spots. He offered us some say in our experience and that was appreciated. The food was all delicious and would be classed as casual, think taco and falafel sandwich with a donut and asian fusion joint thrown in. Lots of fun!

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Glad you had fun Iain! You guys were a great group. Thanks for the review!!

Must Do: NYC with Morgan

Amanda_C, Nov 2024
This was an incredible tour! 10/10 for our tour guide Morgan. Our work team had an amazing time on the Village Night tour. The food was awesome, but what really made the experience special was Morgan's passion for the city and the people that made and make it. His knowledge of NYC history, culture, and pop culture was impressive. He took us to special places like the Stonewall Inn and the Cafe Society, sharing fascinating stories along the way. Morgan was also super accommodating, customizing the tour to our interests and pace. We highly recommend him and his tours!

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Thanks Amanda! It was great wandering with you guys. Had a blast. :)

If your experience is anything like ours this will be a very well spent couple of hours of your visit!

Brian_M, Oct 2024
If you like seeing things up close, sights and sounds you might otherwise miss (or might be intimidated trying to dive in and get acquainted with) then this tour should be on your list! We visit New York when we can to soak up the bigness and smallness of it. We of course dig the grandness of Central Park, enjoying a Broadway show, feeling the Times Square's energy, and checking out attractions like the Edge Sky Deck or walking the Highline. But come on, this is one of the most densely populated places in the world. It's where you can easily and effectively contrast the big stuff that got you here, with the granular, street level stuff. Does experiencing the character of a Manhattan neighborhood appeal to you? This may be your flash pass. It was for us. When I saw this walking tour's description and sample itinerary on Viator it was an instant yes! The booking was easy, the communication clear and prompt, the instructions easy to follow. We met Morgan our guide at the designated, easy-to-find and get-to location and we instantly clicked. He quizzed us on things we might want to include, and from there was a delight to walk and talk with, listen and learn from, and enjoy the dynamics of life in the West Village from someone who has curated a wealth of knowledge about, well...everything? The food stops were fun, varied, tasty, and tailored to our liking. There you are, exploring places you might otherwise walk by in the inevitable "travelers uncertainty" one has when visiting a new place and not quite knowing what you're looking at. We covered so much during our time together—visually and verbally exploring everything...from historically significant places, stories of some of the people and icons who had a hand in shaping the place, right down to the nitty-gritty of the area and street we were on, all while bouncing amongst those that call it home. It was comfortable, casual, and probably not something you'd effectively accomplish trying to do it on your own. The time flew by! Be bold, you're in New York..consider this tour.

Response from Host, Nov 2024

Brian! This is such a great review. Thanks so much for taking the time to write it. You really captured what I'm going for!!
