I had an amazing time with Summit Experience. Everything was well organized, and the staff was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire experience. The activities were fun, engaging, and exceeded my expectations. I felt welcomed from the beginning and appreciated the attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique, enjoyable, and memorable. Looking forward to coming back again in the future

From the moment you walk in Summit One, the experience begins. It's much more than just the view - the mirror room, glass sky boxes, and outdoor area with café really added so much to the overall experience. This is a must-see !

    Bad experience

Very bad experience as we pay for the highest price and best package but the service was the same for all and not worth it at all

    Josephine_D, Aug 2026
We went at night for 8pm. It was very crowded with tourists and it took awhile to finally get in. However, once inside it was well worth the wait. Also, you could spend as much time at each location as you like. The night time views of NY were great so I would recommend going then. Also, you may want to try and be at the top right before sunset. Just remember, it took us awhile to get in.

    Family fun

It's was a nice experience that the kids got to experience lights camera action balloons will do it again

I must do in New York City

    Heather_O, Aug 2026
What an incredible way to see New York City. We did not know what to expect, so that made it even better. Very futuristic, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.

    Not for me

    Nicole_S, Aug 2026
Summit One Vanderbilt was a huge disappointment for us. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt frustrating. We tried to enter shortly before our reservation time and were told we couldn’t even get in line until the exact time of our reservation. Once we were finally allowed to line up, it took another 25 minutes to go through the entire entry process before we could actually begin the experience. The rooms themselves were fun and visually interesting, but overall, it wasn’t something I would recommend going out of your way to do. The kids seemed to have a blast in the room filled with balls, but there were adults constantly having to tell them not to kick the balls around for safety, which took away from the experience. My biggest frustration was that once you start, you essentially have to continue through the entire attraction before you can exit. Between the lines, crowds, waiting, and being funneled from one area to the next, the whole experience felt like standing in one very long Disney ride line. There are so many incredible things to see and do in New York City, and unfortunately, this just wasn’t a highlight for us.

    Very nice experience

Best observatory deck in NYC, especially the package with the ascent (glass elevator). We did buy the night tickets for the city lights, we did first the top of the rock during the day (not the same day), I think that these two observatory decks are the best combo (we did not try the others so it’s just my opinion).

Great experience. Must try this at least once. We had a night ticket, and it was amazing.!!!!!!!!!!!

Every thing was nice we enjoyed it.

    Estela_R, Aug 2026
Some of the workers are rude they need customer service. I needed the code so they can scan it and the color woman who guide me was not so nice . She had long braids and was rude .The one that help me at the desk was nice and helpful . Needs more attention to customer service.

    Do the elevator

Must visit place in NYC and amazing night view. No issue with the viator booking. We enjoyed a lot with family.

    Fun family activity

    Ashley_P, Aug 2026
This was a great way to get multiple views of Manhattan. Don’t be discouraged by the initial line to get in, once inside the crowd disperses.

    1st Class All the way!!

    Ruben_B, Aug 2026
Great but really crowded not able to get the full experience.. Highly recommend but need to organize a time limit for other people. Especially if you purchase a ticket for a certain hour.

Show up on time because there are time slots that everyone specifically selects and it's important to be there during your time slot. The flow of people is heavy as well be prepared for there to be quite a bit of people. Overall, it was easy getting in and going through the whole experience.

    Making memories

    Natasha_S, Aug 2026
Frist of all checking processes need to be short faster all lines to going Like when you at Airport TSA 😡just wast of time especially with have little kid .we was family of 9 with 3kids and it was frist time visit from Canada I take .they try to use bank card to make payment was told they don't accept it or credit card not even cash which was shame for foreigners visiting ...balloons room was exciting for kids love it ... need make tickets price affordable we had to add few tickets more for group there price was over 80 with tax each ....customer service was great every one was very friendly

    Susan_D, Aug 2026
This was fantastic we loved visiting all the rooms. I wish we had a clear night. I would do this again.

    Unbelievable views and crazy reflections!

    Sofiia_K, Aug 2026
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is definitely one of the most unique observation decks in NYC. The room filled with mirrors creates an amazing immersive experience, and the skyline views of Manhattan are incredible. The glass sky-boxes ("Levitation") are super cool if you aren't afraid of heights! Just a quick tip for future visitors: make sure to bring sunglasses because the reflections can be super bright, and wear pants instead of skirts or dresses due to the mirrored floors. Overall, totally worth it!

    Pray for clear skies

    Natalie_D, Aug 2026
A bit gimmicky, I hate to say. Obviously, the installation is impressive and many would enjoy the experience. My teenage niece liked it more than I did and perhaps she’s more of the target audience. Good for photo ops. The biggest disappointment was that it happened to rain on the evening of our booking. You couldn’t see ANYTHING from the observation deck. Like, nothing but condensation and fog. Not so much as a light from the cityscape. A little surprising that there was no rain plan or alternative for inclement weather. We weren’t even warned upon entering that there’d be visibility issues (a little shady, imo). I know weather can’t be predicted, but it was a very expensive outing sans main attraction. I’m sure it’s cool on clear days.

Highly recommended, great views & reasonable price.

    Amy_M, Aug 2026
We had such a fab time here, busy but not too busy still room for photos just a short wait. We done this one late morning and it was a perfect sunny day for it. Worth doing for sure if you visit New York.

Not clear what the advantage is using Viator from our experience

    Sharon_N, Aug 2026
I would recommend the experience but not getting these vouchers via Viator...everyone we purchased we still had to wait in line with everyone else...so not sure the purpose of using this site.

    Great Views and Great Fun

Stunning views of the Empire State Building , Central Park and rest of the city The balloons were highlight!

    Great views all around!

    Richard_M, Aug 2026
Book tickets in advanced but it's a must do! 3 floors of panoramic views of Manhattan and surrounding views. Cafe and bar on the top observation floor.

Long wait and lots of people.

    Jessica_S, Aug 2026
We arrived about 25 minutes early and were told to come back at our appointment time. Can't sit on the floors by the entrance - security walks around and makes everyone stand- including children. Have to go downstairs to the train terminal to sit ( but there are bathrooms there). The event greeting staff were not the friendliest. Came back at an appointment time and then waited about 40 minutes in long lines to get to the elevators. Once on the exhibit floors, there were a lot of people, but the space is more open so does not feel as crowded as it did in the lines. Impossible to get a picture without others in it. There are three floors with three rooms on each floor. Staff on each floor are friendly. Thankfully this is not expensive. Same views as the Empire State Building.

    Rough start but lovely exhibits

    David_B, Jul 2026
My partner and I brought our 15 year old niece to the Summit as a dual celebration to commemorate her first time in NYC and my Birthday. The experience began with the initial video which was both informative and immersive. Unfortunately, once we exited the video room we were greeted by an employee who made an Inappropriate comment which somewhat spoiled the experience for us. The agent that requested to see our wristbands made a grotesque comment when my partner stated that he had the wristband on his pant loop. He stated “You want me to go down there?” The comment was inappropriate and I was taken aback. Once we moved beyond the comment and I provided feedback through the website, we were able to appreciate the experience. The exhibits were lovely and we took lots of photos. A must visit for tourists and locals alike.
