Yes, all visitors must have a ticket to access the Edge, except for children ages 5 and under. Each general admission ticket is booked for a specific date and time, so arrive for the slot you booked. In addition to general admission, there are also skip-the-line and flexible time options.

The best time to go to the Edge depends on your preference. Sunset is the most popular time to visit—and it books up quickly. You'll get more visual definition by day but enjoy the twinkling lights at night. For the best views, visit on clear days.

All sales are final, and the Edge typically remains open even for inclement weather, so don't expect to switch your ticket to a different time slot. No outside food or drinks are permitted (except water bottles), and don't forget to wear layers—and bring a good camera.

Visitors can spend as long as they'd like at the Edge—tickets do not have time limits. Most visits last between 45 minutes to 1 hour, although it's possible to stay longer, especially if you purchase drinks and snacks from the on-site Champagne bar.

General admission to the Edge includes access to the indoor and outdoor viewing platforms starting at the time and date selected. Also available are express tickets to skip the line and get priority elevator access and flex tickets that allow you to visit any time on the day you select.
