Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice Tours and Tickets

Visiting the Ford Foundation Building, including the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice, the Ford Foundation Art Gallery, and the Atrium Garden, is free. Admission tickets are not required, although you should book group visits and docent-led tours—also free of charge—in advance.

The Ford Foundation Building is typically open to visitors Monday through Friday, 11am–6pm, as well as on Saturdays, 11am–6pm, when a temporary exhibition is on display at the gallery. The Ford Foundation Art Gallery and the Atrium Garden follow the same hours of operation.

There is also Braille and wayfinding signage throughout and a lowered-height accessible restroom on the 11th floor. Service dogs are welcome throughout the building.

Yes. All visitors to the Ford Foundation Building must provide an official photo ID and submit to the security registration process. Large bags and suitcases are not permitted. All bags will be screened before entry. Visitors must also adhere to the building’s code of conduct.

No. There is no parking at the Ford Foundation Building. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation or arrive by taxi or rideshare to the covered driveway located at the 43rd Street entrance, between First and Second avenues. The closest subway station is Grand Central Station–42 St, a 10-minute walk.
