9/11 Memorial Exhibit
The 9/11 Memorial was a great exhibit with so many amazing artifacts of people who were impacted by such a devastating tragedy. So, many lost their lives and so many people gave their lives trying to save the lives of others so their sacrifices will forever be remembered. My heart goes out to family and friends of those who lost loved ones as we embark on the 25th year anniversary of the most devastating tragedy in American history. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

definitely worth it!
A brilliant experience mixing art and views, we loved it all! The entry was smooth with a little wait for security and for the lifts up, which were an experience in themselves too (although we went up on the “quiet” lift not but choice just by luck - if you want the experience of lights and sounds then I’d ask for it as you queue for the lift!) the views were amazing, standing 95 stories up on a glass floor was quite something, I definitely couldn’t look down! There was the chance to get drinks or snacks on the final level too, and on the outside deck which was awesome.

Nice way to see NYC from the water and the Statue of Liberty
The guide tells a bit about the history of New York, about Elis Island, all the imigrants coming that way and about the statue. The boat comes close to the island, close enough for good photos of the Lady and the NYC skyline. The statue is on the right as you approach and on the left on the way back. The guide Debbie was very nice

The guide (Jorge) has great local knowledge
Convenient and interesting way to cover a lot of ground. I liked getting a little taste of the different boroughs. A little too much focus on sports arenas for me because I don't give a darn about that and would have liked historical buildings and old churches and cemeteries and that kind of thing way better, but that's just me. These kind of tours have to hit what they think most people will be most interested in, and I understand that. Still a very good way to see areas outside of Manhattan. Jorge was an excellent guide. Because he's been here a long time, he has a great depth of knowledge about the city. I've taken tours all over the world, and often the guides are twenty-something travelers who use those jobs as a source of income while traveling, and are just going off of a script they've been given. That's always disappointing, and I wind up feeling like I would have done just as well doing it myself with info i could easily read online. From a guide I want insider knowledge and in that common situation, they don't have it. Jorge is the exact opposite of that and I was very happy about that. He was always able to give in-depth responses when people had follow up questions about the communities, hosiery, etc. from his knowledge asa long- time resident of the area. That's what a guide should be able to offer in my book. Also an engaging and likeable speaker. Recommend.
