What To Expect

Check out your spy skills at this interactive experience at Spyscape in New York City. This ticket gets you into the facility where you’ll be put to the test, coding, breaking codes, running surveillance, and figuring out who the liars are. All of these challenges will be added up, and when you’ve finished, you can see just what kind of a spy you’d make.

This isn’t your average museum experience. It’s an immersion into the spy world, with the tests designed by a former trainer at MI6.

You can go on your own, or bring a group along. At the end of your tour, make sure to stop by the gift shop and book shop and bring home a few spy-like souvenirs.

They didn’t accept my tickets

Got there they didn’t accept tickets, sated 98 dollars for nothing . Went on Valentine’s Day and got embarrassed

Ticket purchased through Viator did not work when I arrived at Spyscape and I had to purchase a ticket at the location. I tried to contact customer service but there was no direct line to address the issue in the moment with Viator. I tried to follow the directions to request a refund but the directions didn't match what I was seeing on my screen.

SPYGAMES is a separate experience and requires its own ticket, which may be why your original ticket did not scan as expected. A lot of the tech in the museum is glitchy and not as user-friendly as it should be. It could also be cleaned more often - lots of germs from the children in that circular room with the screens.

System wide outage. My partner and I got to the location and was told by staff that there is a system error and won’t be open at that time, and won’t know when they would be open. Ruining our plans for the day. Still waiting for a refund.

Too expensive for basically a one-hour museum experience. I went into this museum as someone not into spy stuff, hoping to be intrigued. Unfortunately, I was not. There’s lots of static exhibits and many stations that asked lots of questions that I found annoying and didn’t reveal anything of interest to me. However, if you’re interested in the history of spy stuff, then you will probably really enjoy this museum, but it’s still quite expensive for what you get. And don’t visit in a windy day, because it’s nearly impossible to push open the exit doors to leave the place, due to the force of the wind on the doors.

The museum is very interactive and you learn about your style and skills in the Spionage area (some tasks are very demanding for your brain). Very cool! In addition various historical chapters are detailed like Enigma machine during WWII. The only negative - the different rooms cover various topics and use voice explanations in addition to visuals. With that it was a little bit noisy.

Fun experience that requires quite a bit of a thought process. Analytical in areas but I loved it all. You need to be able to think quickly on your feet. It’s best if children have company to enjoy it with other kids of like age.

It was a disappointment. My 9 years old and I have visited the Spyscape. Neither of us was happy as it was far too small and not much to do either It doesn't worth the money and time spent. Not recommended it at all

The recommendation and purchase via Viator was very easy. The museum was very interactive and we did take a few turns playing in the laser tunnel! That was alot of fun! We also appreciated receiving our scores and videos from the museum via email
