It wasn't worth the money...

Arian_M, Jan 2026
It wasn't worth the money ,overpriced ,the rooms are small and deceptive from the pictures online . Very short and un appealing. Would not reccond for this price

Went with my 15 year old daughter and we both enjoyed it immensely Can stay as long as you like in each of the rooms The ball pit was fun and creating our own 3 d shapes was amusing Def something fun to do on a rainy day Plus it’s super handy for Hudson yard shops and sightseeing and the arts centre

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Hi Sheila, Thank you for your kind words! We’re delighted that you both had fun exploring, playing in the ball pit, and experimenting with 3D creations. We hope to see you again soon for another inspirational experience! Best, The Mercer Labs Team

First NYC Museum

Georgina_B, Oct 2025
This was my daughter and I first trip to NYC and attending a museum was definitely on our list. Glad we chose this interactive, modern museum. I felt it was a bit overpriced but maybe that's expected in the city. Great staff, fun room exhibits in a short amount of time.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Probably only good to do with kids. It was quick and not that entertaining. All the rooms were small and deceptively big online

This lab is novel and creative, brimming with high-tech appeal. Kids especially adore it, losing track of time while having a blast inside.

Play a robotic violin!

Sarah_T, Oct 2025
We went on a Tuesday after 5pm and we were able to walk right in. The ticket slots are timed. You’ll be putting shoe covers on to walk around the experience so don’t bother putting on fancy heels and there are many rooms with mirrored floors (I was in a skort thank goodness! Haha) the rooms all have viewing areas to sit, swing, lay down, etc to experience them. They have a ton of activities for kids and they seemed to love all the lights and ball pit. Our favorite was the room with the robot violin! You can play it by waving your hand!

Day of illusion

Day at the technology museum!

Trudy_F, May 2025
My kids and husband loved this museum. We spent three hours going through the amazing exhibits. Highly recommend for everyone!

Not family friendly

Marisa_C, May 2025
Music was overwhelmingly loud and took away from the art. We have a 3 year old and exhibits seemed to have eerie/ creepy music with the displays. Lots of dark rooms. Would say this is great for young adults but not for children or elderly.

Take your time and take...

Devon_M, May 2025
Take your time and take in all the spaces. Follow all your intuitions to see everything. Very easily located from public transportation.

Explore your all your senses!

Enrique_S, May 2025
This is a highly virtual experience which was very entertaining. We spent over an hour exploring the exhibits which were all interactive and fun.

Mind blowing. Colorful. A place to play with lights and mirrors. Glad I could bring my family with me to visit.

Could use more activities

Jada_C, Feb 2025
It was okay, could use more activities. We went through the Mercer lab in less than 20 minutes. The rooms were very pretty though ! Just needs to be more entertaining.

Fun City Outing!

Rena_A, Feb 2025
Really fun interactive and original experience! I would suggest not moving too quickly through the exhibits because you cannot go back once you leave a floor. Definitely recommend for a fun city outing!

Max_B, Feb 2025
A great experience to share with family and friends! The visuals were incredible and thought provoking. Note the Robot was interesting but would be more interesting if movements appeared it was trying to interact with the patrons after establishing repetitive motion in attempt to escape the monotony.

Great Experience!

Scott_E, Jan 2025
Beautiful new museum. Multisensory experience. Wonderful and dynamic light and mirror exhibits. Easy to get tickets and get in, not overcrowded, helpful staff, very clean.

So much fun
