Pace yourself, and do the activities you really want to. The tours were very informative and good. We especially enjoyed the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island tour for its history. Also the Broadway tour and Little Italy Chinatown tour were very good

This is a super idea in theory, I had problems booking a trip on Sunday, I had to get on to help on line that transfered me to a person who gave me a number to ring. End result got nowhere only lost valuable time I could have been using my pass for other activities. When it works its super, but very frustrating when it doesnt work. The pass was on Go City but purchased with viator.

We had 4 full days in NYC so purchased a pass for this duration.
Very easy to use and set up, all via the GO City app. We set up an idea of itinerary for when and where we would be each day and set this around the trip available as part of the pass to maximise value.
We ended up doing 13 things available on the passes.
A few of them you can pre book but lots of flex to amend. Some things don’t operate everyday.

The tour guide for the 9/11 monument area was Fabulous. However, very difficult to book, and very expensive cost for each attraction on top of the base cost.

I purchased this Pass hoping to be able to see alot of attractions and "skip the line" as it states. I visited several of the sites included in the pass, and never "skipped the line". I waited for the One World Trade Observatory for over two hours. The 9/11 Memorial was closed the day I wanted to go. The Edge had to be seen after 4:30 or you had to pay an additional $15 if you were there before 4:30. I scheduled a visit to the Statue of Liberty with Platform access, and the Platform access was closed. If you're going to the Top of the Rock, be sure to check the weather. I couldn't go up on my scheduled time because of a "white out" and no visibility. The HopOn HopOff Bus was a joke. Most busses were filled to capacity, and the people in the streets gave sh**ty directions so bad that I wandered up and down four blocks before actually finding an employee who gave a s*#@ enough to direct me where to stand. Most of the sightseeing tours (cruises) were booked and not available. I would suggest a lot of planning before purchasing more than one day with this pass. Also, get a Metro Card, download the MTA app, and get to your destinations a lot quicker with little to no wait.

We were sold a 2 day city pass which included a hop on hop off bus tour. We were unable to use our pass the first day due to a pride parade, the bus routes were suspended.. We requested a refund for the first day since we were unable to use it and Viator refused to work with us. So basically we spent $1070 for 5 people to tour NYC. Highway robbery. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don’t waste your money. Book with another company.

The pass is good value for money and covers almost all of the attractions available. We were also able to get 2 days hop on hop off bus tour for the price of one. On one negative note the pass was advertised cheaper in New York

I bought 2 passes, my receipt shows I purchased 2 but when I got to my first attraction they said it was only good for 1 adult. I tried to call customer service and they were very unhelpful. I will be looking for a refund for sure on the one ticket.

Vanderbilt and 911 Memorial, The Rock was great experience. Not really worth to get the NY ticket. Still had to make all the lines to validate ticket and get part ticket at most attractions

We bought the 4 day New York Pass for a 5 night family stay in the city. I would say it was the best decision we made. Every individual attraction would have cost a fortune and we wouldn't have been able to afford to do anywhere near as much without the pass. Every attraction we visited was exactly how advertised for entry. Just be aware that we planned an itinerary and often aimed to get into queues when they opened. This allowed us to do everything that we had planned. Nothing was sold out, even at peak Xmas. We visited every sky scraper viewing point and each one gave a completely different experience. Would definitely buy a pass if visiting again.

It was a great experience. There’s no hassle in buying the tickets at all. We just go in scan it and done. However, I wish there was an easier option for booking tours and stuff, like within the app itself. Overall, it was a really good experience and I thought the price is worth it. Highly recommended.

9-11 memorial museum closed on Tuesdays ??? Sad to have missed it. It was not easy to check availability .

I couldn't make reservations for some places because the pass number could not connect to the email address. I have no idea what happened, but I know that I had hard times and barely made a reservation for the Statue of Liberty an employee did it for me, and I was embarrassed at the Empire State Bldg because the pass showed that I cannot reenter which did not make sense because I couldn't make a reservation and I was trying to enter for the first time. A representative from GoCity tried to help but the final result was he could but I couldn't make reservations.

Viator making me miss out on a fully paid 3 day pass because they only sent me a qr code for one day. Had to be on the phone for over an hour trying to get them to email me the rest of the passes. Kept saying they were there, they could see them. Good for you, how does that help me? Almost $600 for 2 passes that we got to spend about $200 with. Waste of time and money.

Traveling over holiday period you expect some delays and waiting however you won’t get the value out of this pass, especially if you are short on time.
1. 9/11 memorial cannot to prebooked: waited nearly 2 hours for tickets and need to return and wait in the queue for that allocated time. That’s 1 day almost done for - note the queue closed before 11:30am for the day. Book online direct
2. I had issues with pre booking a tour, called nyc pass provider for assistance and was told to email screen shot. The next day received the same set of instructions as the phone call day earlier and issue not resolved 🙃. Was able to use laptop and book but if not traveling with one be wary.
3. Other bookable tours not showing any dates for the time we are here - have been checking this leading up to our trip and nothing opened up
Overall, got value from 1 day - the rest sucked and would have been cheaper and faster to book direct than pay for 3 days of a pass that’s not really usable

The NY Pass is worth it if you take your time researching all the activities you want to do. For example, some activities take place only at certain times of the day. Others can be done any time of the day. You really have to plan your day to maximize the value of this pass. My family spent ~$800 for these NY Passes but used about $2000 worth of activities.
