This tour was great. Scott C got us around the swamp safely and was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and residents. The boat wasn’t too fast and had a nice cover for rain. Good option if you have kids!

We had such a fantastic time on our swamp and bayou tour! Captain Anthony was brilliant; really friendly, knowledgeable and informative throughout the trip. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience and even tried really hard to get us into the best spots for some amazing photos.
We saw lots of alligators and even some raccoons, which was brilliant! We absolutely loved being out on the bayou, exploring the swamp and taking in the beautiful scenery. It was a fun and memorable experience for all the family.
Would definitely recommend this tour, and a huge thank you to Captain Anthony for making it so enjoyable!

Our New Orleans swamp tour was terrific. Captain Denis was super funny and gave us some fabulous information. My twelve year old daughter and eight year old son truly enjoyed it. I felt very safe even though we were very close to the alligators and raccoons.it is a MUST do in LA!

Captain Hunter was awesome. He gave us a great experience and a real-life look at life in the bayou. He made sure we went to spots with the most gators possible! Highly recommend!!

This was the best part of our whole New Orleans trip
Captain Kevin was the *best*!
We would highly recommend this for a family outing :)

This was one of the best tours of the swamps. There were a lot of alligators and other wildlife. We had the Swamp Ninja for our guide. My daughters got to feed the raccoons that were out there. Loved the history of the area and the information about the houses on the water and the impact of the hurricanes. These New Orleans swamp tours are awesome!
Lundie_R, Jun 2026

The captain was very knowledgeable and knew just where to go to get “up close and personal” and with the terrain and wildlife. A must do on your trip!
Tammy_C, May 2026
There were so many alligators to see, they would come up to the boat, surround us, we saw raccoons and other wildlife. Had fun going fast on the water. Captain Roy was the best
Danielle_C, Apr 2026
Experiences a lot of fun and very informative our tour guide. Emmett was a blast as our tour guide and it was really cool to see all the alligators

We had a wonderful tour with Captain Scott on a beautiful day in the swamp. We saw loads of Alligators and Turtles plus adorable raccoons and a not so adorable snake. I had my grandkids, ages 6 and 5, with me and it was a great adventure for all three of us.
Sonia_C, Apr 2026
I live in the area and experienced things I had not before and Capt Dustin was not only informative and humorous.
Greg_B, Mar 2026

Alice_I, Mar 2026
We had Zander as a pilot/guide. He was very informative, fun to be with and helped us spot wildlife. I would recommend this tour for all ages. The morning was a good time to see raccoons, birds, alligators and Zander even spotted a snake!
Edward_G, Mar 2026
An enjoyable and informative boat tour with an exceptional guide (Matt). We would both highly recommend it.
Heidi_W, Mar 2026
I wasn’t sure what to expect. The tour was advertised as a quiet wildlife watching tour on a quieter boat. While we did see a lot of wildlife and alligators the guide would feed the alligators and the tour company was heavily commercialized and touristy. That being said if you are alright with those things the tour itself was very entertaining and the guide informative.
Holly_R, Mar 2026
Captain Emmitt was amazing . He was very informative and entertaining! I would recommend. Everyone was very friendly.
Wei_S, Mar 2026
Very unique experience. The tour guide is friendly, the environment is peaceful, we saw alligator, snakes, turtles and birds.
David_P, Feb 2026
We had a great time. Emmett did a wonderful job pointing out all the wildlife and explaining the area. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the New Orleans area.
Sid_P, Jan 2026
One of the most entertaining tours I have taken in years. We saw the usual wildlife - alligators, turtles, a raccoon, a snake, some pigs and quite a few birds - limpkins, Great Blue Heron, anhingas. Captain Jody kept us entertained the whole time with great information woven through stories and jokes.
Holly_C, Jan 2026
Lots of fun! If you have a car, it’s an easy drive and more economical than taking the tour bus. Our guide Marc was great and really made sure we got up close to the wildlife. He knew where their usual hang out spots are, so we saw tons of gators, raccoons, birds, and a snake. He also knew a lot about the history and the vegetation.
Manjul_P, Dec 2025
This is an amazing thrilling experience to see aligators and other wildlife animal so close. Dont miss it...its worth the experience. You'll be on this steamer boat so close to the gators and its a great experience
