An enjoyable and informative boat tour with an exceptional guide (Matt). We would both highly recommend it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. The tour was advertised as a quiet wildlife watching tour on a quieter boat. While we did see a lot of wildlife and alligators the guide would feed the alligators and the tour company was heavily commercialized and touristy. That being said if you are alright with those things the tour itself was very entertaining and the guide informative.

Captain Emmitt was amazing . He was very informative and entertaining! I would recommend. Everyone was very friendly.

We had a great time. Emmett did a wonderful job pointing out all the wildlife and explaining the area. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the New Orleans area.

One of the most entertaining tours I have taken in years. We saw the usual wildlife - alligators, turtles, a raccoon, a snake, some pigs and quite a few birds - limpkins, Great Blue Heron, anhingas. Captain Jody kept us entertained the whole time with great information woven through stories and jokes.

Lots of fun! If you have a car, it’s an easy drive and more economical than taking the tour bus. Our guide Marc was great and really made sure we got up close to the wildlife. He knew where their usual hang out spots are, so we saw tons of gators, raccoons, birds, and a snake. He also knew a lot about the history and the vegetation.

This was an excellent look into the bayou with lots of wildlife cooperation. We saw alligators, raccoons, herons and turtles. The bayou itself is beautiful and serene.

Capt. Wade G. was great! He clearly loves showing us a bit of his backyard and is very good at what he does. What an unforgettable experience.

Great tour of the swamp and wildlife! Zander was very informative! We would visit again next time we’re in the area.
Deena_C, Aug 2025
Will not disappoint if you’re hoping to see some things. Lots of alligators swimming around as we floated down the bayou! You’ll also see birds, turtles and maybe some raccoons! It’s hot in the bayou so bring water. Our guide Will was fun and talkative and provided us history of the bayou as we went down. Would recommend this tour!

It is a fun way to see the wildlife and Bayou... Emmett was a fun tour guide and kept us all entertained. Sorry to see the alligators swimming to the boats for food - not a good idea I think!! Won't bigger gators figure this out and come eat the little ones???
Elizabeth_G, Jul 2025
Very informative. Saw lots of gators, hogs, and wildlife. Dustin was very knowledgeable and kept the tour entertaining.

The tour was worthwhile, efficiently organized, and fun. Guide Jody was very entertaining and quite knowledgeable and safety conscious as he shared his learning, experience, and views on ecology and nature’s wonders. He was very considerate of my 2 grandsons as he included them in his teachings and he made the trip enjoyable for them as well as for all three of us adults. The boat trip was an adventure as we saw numerous alligators, birds, and several raccoons and heard about the swamp and marshland’s variety of life. The young lady at the beginning of the trip was polite and an excellent speaker who made it easy for all to understand and follow her directions. Check in was simple and use of different colored wrist bands worked well for dividing groups. It was very beneficial that the tours started promptly on time.

Aaron was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and made sure we got up close and personal with lots of wildlife. Medium sized boat with 11 people on each side. When he was able he made sure each side got to see everything.

Our guide John R. Was amazing! Very knowledgeable and understanding and funny. He made this a super pleasant experience. Thank you!!
I had a 6-month old with me and he was very comfortable on my lap. It’s infant friendly! There are bathrooms and a shop before and after ans you learn about wild life, nature, tge people living there and history. And you get to see first hand inside a bayou!

joanna_m, Feb 2025
Our guide was informative, funny and respectful of the sensitive environment - great tour! We saw turtles, gators, heron, owl, and lots of raccoons. This was a winter tour so alligators were a bit dormant. It still a great tour.
Jessica_R, Jan 2025
I would have liked to see more gators but we had fun anyway! I feel like it was a good experience, we all had fun.
Aaron_W, Dec 2024
