My dad and I had an incredible time with Cooley on the art walk. I’ve done a few of these around the world but this was my dads first art walk - we both had a blast. Cooley is an excellent guide with deep knowledge about the art, history, and community. I’d do this tour again in a heartbeat.

The tour was a fabulous way to learn about the culture and community of New Orleans. Tyler was clearly connected to the street artists whose art we viewed. His knowledge and engaging style made it a fun experience not to be missed.

My Anxious, Implusive character traits nearly caused me to cancel this tour after showing up and thinking it wasnt going to happen, but Tyler and his perfect timing came through! Only to find out he was trying to reach out to me but my phone number was incorrect smh( my apologies) Anyways!, It was sooooo well worth it if you love or want to find your love for art (no matter what type of art this is a catalyst to the love for it) It was even better that it was a one on one tour, so way more personal which I enjoyed. My eyes fed on so much talent throughout the I think 4 wards we walked through, with each piece having a great story to tell. Tyler took his time engaging me in conversation giving as much worded detail as the murals/ art displayed. Tyler took me on a trip through the minds of the artists that allowed me to view it all from different angles and perspectives. The creative expression of love for New Orleans, Homage paid to the many empathic natives during post katrina that words possible couldn’t describe was felt, a look into culture was appreciated. I must say, a greater respect for the word resilience has been installed in me thanks to Tyler’s wonderful narration. He also played a part as my personal photographer lol. So yea, please add that to your artistic profile as well if you get to read this Tyler (smile)! I hope he enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed his. Ask for Tyler guys when youre doing the art walk.

Tyler is a great guide and this tour exceeded my expectations. He is very knowledgeable on all of the murals and artists on the tour. While you could probably take pictures of the street art in NOLA on your own, you are seriously missing out on the stories and the meaning behind the art (which are often NOT what they seem!)

Wow! We loved this. Our guide was so knowledgeable and accommodating. It was fun to get out of the tourist rut and see some great art, all on building walls. One exception to that was the fish on the sidewalk.

Very informative tour !! Absolutely glad I made the time to do this. Art is a way of understanding the soul of the people. So cool to learn more history/ herstory along Rampart Street. I grew up loving Little Richard & Louis Armstrong & others. So cool to feel the origin of these musical 🎶 roots.

Absolutely had a blast with Dave learning about the artists in the area, the art, and the social nuances of the street art. With such incredibly fluid changes happening g all the time I would definitely take this tour again and hope to have the same guide as he was so genuine and knowledgeable.

Tyler was the absolute best. This tour truly made our day and trip. We saw SO many beautiful murals with a wide range of styles and themes. He gave us history, culture, artist backgrounds and so much more. Get out of the French Quarter and do this tour and experience the real New Orleans. I've been to other mural tours while traveling and this was the best. Be sure to bring good walking shoes for this all-encompassing 2 hour walk.

Great, knowledgable guide. Gives a beautiful insight to the neighborhood and local art scene. Great way to spend a couple hours. The guide is knowledgeable and obviously pretty involved with the local scene. Good for insights and recommendations on local music and food.

Great guide gave clear presentation of each mural and artist . We saw a large variety of murals in many neighborhoods starting in the 9th Ward, Our guide gave an indepth explanation of the mural as well as clear info and history of the mural & it’s relationship to the neighborhood & events of the time. He really presented a clear picture of the artist & their relationship to the era & neighborhood it was painted. Do this tour!

We really enjoyed the tour with Dave, seeing several neighborhoods we would probably not have otherwise seen. Although the tour is focussed on street art, Dave wove in (with passion!) history of NoLa, cultural information, and reasons behind New Orleans’ traditions. This tour was one of our highlights for sure.

Tyler was great in nagivating us through the artworks. It shows that he has much respect and love for the artists themselves. It was great storytelling and getting to know fun facts about the artists themselves. The tour would not be the same without him. The pace was great and Tyler was very friendly and I liked the fact how he united the group and made us comfortable with each other. The art itself is brilliant and my favorite was the heartbraking mural narrating the story of Katrina. Not only were we educated on street art but Tyler showed us some of the cool spots in the city. He went above and beyond as to share happenings we could not have found on google. If you have not done this tour, it is must.

An amazing and fun tour! The knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide was great and would highly recommend! My group and I went on the tour on our first day in Nola and the rest of our trip we noticed and recognized the work of the artists around other parts of Nola.
