We had a group of 13 friends celebrating a birthday and it was a fun afternoon. The boat easily accommodated us, and we were able to play our music, enjoy the snacks and cocktails we brought with us, and it was easy to find at the marina. Captain was lovely, ride felt safe. Boat wasnt in new condition but it was fine for what we needed for a birthday party atmosphere

To begin it was supposed to be a 60 foot yacht as advertised and confirmed. When we arrived Luis said he didn’t know anything about that. I took my phone out and went to the email and he said do you still want to go or no. So we got on the boat. There was no running water in the boat so to use the bathroom you had to put all the toilet paper in a trash can. They didn’t tell us that until someone had already used the bathroom. I enjoyed the time with my family but I paid for a 60ft yacht according to the advertisement and confirmation and that’s not what I received

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a tour company. We booked a 60-foot boat expecting a smooth, enjoyable excursion, but the company’s incompetence and lack of professionalism completely ruined it. The boat was scheduled to leave at 10:00 AM and we made every effort to arrive at the location on time. We even gave them a heads-up to notify them that we were on our way and would be arriving as planned. Despite this, the boat captain, Jonathan, didn’t bother to show up until 11:40 AMThat’s nearly two hours of our time wasted, sitting around with no boat, no updates, and absolutely no communication from the company. To make matters worse, we tried calling the company multiple times to find out what was going on, but no one answered the phone for quite some time. This level of unresponsiveness is completely unacceptable, especially when they were the ones who failed to deliver on their promise. Adding insult to injury, the night before our scheduled trip, they informed us that there was a problem with the boat but reassured us that the issue had been fixed and that everything would go ahead as planned. Clearly, that was not the case. When the captain finally arrived, rather than taking accountability or offering a proper resolution, the merchants had the audacity to offer us a 40-foot boat as a replacement – without any compensation or meaningful apology. We paid for a 60-foot boat and offering us something smaller with no effort to make things right is not only unprofessional, but downright disrespectful. This company’s behavior reflects terrible business practices. They ignored us, wasted our entire morning, failed to deliver what we paid for, and showed no regard for their customers’ time or satisfaction. Their lack of accountability and respect is shocking. If you’re considering booking with this company, **don’t do it**. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and lack basic customer service. Save yourself the headache and book with a company that actually honors their commitments and respects their customers.

Hi Hafizah, First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced, and I truly regret that your charter didn’t go as planned. However, I’d like to clarify a few details for accuracy. The night before your trip, I personally called to inform you there were mechanical concerns with the original yacht. The mecanic had assured me they would work through the night to resolve the issue, and around 3am, I was informed the yacht had been fixed. Despite that, I expressed my hesitation and concern about trusting the listing and recommended moving you to a newer, more reliable yacht — one that was 15 years newer and valued $200 more. You kindly declined because it was 5ft shorter, preferring to stick with the original option, and I respected your decision. My intention in calling was to prevent any issues the following morning, as mechanical problems can unfortunately arise with yachts. And a yacht experiencing an engine problem I prefer to move you then to for you to to be the 1st experiment on the yacht that day in the AM even if i got the green light. On the day of the charter, we stayed in communication throughout — except for a short time when I was on another line coordinating with captains to find a solution because the yacht did not turn on. I texted you to let you know I’d call right back, which I did as soon as I was able. The offer for the alternative yacht actually came from a third party, not from me directly. My yachts were all booked. But I understand the confusion. Once I was informed, I worked quickly to secure it for you. Because it wasn’t part of my fleet and my yacht came with an additional hour free, the owner requested a higher last-minute rate. I even offered to personally cover $300 out of pocket to help make it work for you, as well as providing a discount of $100 for 5 hours, or $300 off if you opted for a 4-hour charter on the 3 party yacht. I always aim to deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I’m sorry we fell short this time. I hope this helps provide some clarity and I’d love the chance to make it up to you in the future.

The only good thing was the captain was super nice. Total bait and switch with the boat. Only 42’ ft vs 60’ and was run down. When I called Yachty to tell them it was the wrong boat they said basically well it’s an upgrade because it’s 10 years newer. Completely unacceptable. They sent us 3 phone numbers 30 mins before sailing to try and select a captain and changed the pick up spot at the same time. My guest were running all over trying to get there. It was quite literally the worst yachting experience ever. However the captain who came did his best to make it nice.

They canceled 2 hours before our appointment and charged me ! Unbelievable !

Hi Rachel, This is a duplicate account, so I’ll repeat what I mentioned in the other thread for clarity. You booked your charter at 12:11am same-day departure. I contacted you at 8:40 AM via both call and text to inform you that the time slot was already booked. I also sent follow-up texts and called you at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM to keep you update and got no responses. You appeared at 10:40 AM—just one hour before the scheduled departure. I then called you right away, I reiterated what I had already messaged you through Viator at 8:00 AM: that the time was unavailable. You requested a refund, and I immediately agreed. I explained that you just needed to contact Viator so I could approve it on my end, which I did promptly. I also mentioned in my Viator messages that I could either issue a full refund or assist in finding you a similar yacht. I did everything I could to communicate clearly and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
